I had the lights at the suggested level from the company we got it for seedlings and it started to burn them. We have a 750W LED light and it was set to 40%. We turned it down to 30% for the first few weeks.

Start week

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Week 7 of Flower This plant is going to be done in about a week or so. She never really filled out like I had hoped but what she lacks in chunk she makes up for in frost. Mild defoliation throughout this week. Flush imminent so will leave the remaining fans as nute banks. Next run with these genetics I'll be running a monstercropped clone under this scrog and will go heavier with the defoliation earlier on. I was advised this on here this grow and did a bit but have learned I need more! Forever learning. Looks like it's gonna be an epic harvest. These girls smell absolutely dank. Testament to the quality of these Madame Grow Fertilisers. Harvest just get better every time! 2/17/2024 - Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I removed some of the water to see where the roots were only one had roots in the water. However I want to go ahead and get them on Week one Nutes So I am over 50 gallons of water in the system so I mixed the Trio at a 1.0mil per Gallon but restricted it to a top of 50 gallons period. I top fed the other two to keep encouraging root growth. I also finished my drying and curing from my last run and wanted to show what it looks like all bagged up and in the cannatrol. I added the following Nutes: Silica = .5Mil/Gal= 25Mil CalMag= .75Mil/Gal= 37.5Mil FloraMicro = 1Mil/Gal= 50Mil FloraGro= 1Mil/Gal= 50Mil FLoraBloom= 1Mil/Gal= 50Mil ORCA = .5Mil/Gal= 25Mil EPSOM- 1 big pinch 2/18/2024 - Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I top fed #1 and #3 since they still don't have roots in the water, I will continue one top feed a day until roots hit water. 2/19/2024 - Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- #3 now has root in the water.. Yay!! I now have #2 and #3 with roots in the water so no top feed for them. I only had to top feed #1 and the only reason I didn't just go ahead and cull her today was I am responsible for breaking her tap root and stunting her, I wasn't careful enough and she was the first to show a good root. In that vain I will carry her a few more day's top feeding but if not root by the end of the week she is getting culled. 2/20/2024 - Vegetation Week 1 Day 4- Today I Ensured the PH is in range, I refilled the Humidifiers, I top fed #1 since the roots are still not in the water. Second time growing this strain and I loved it just as much as the first time!! Straight gas on the nose and taste buds ✅⛽️🔥 one of my top 5 strains to date I think 🤔 As for my grow diaries experience, it’s my first diary and to be honest it couldn’t be any simpler to update and keep up with your diary and other diaries for that matter. Still no sign of flowering. Transplanted Novarine plant 2 into a 50-liters container. The spot is under a big shorea plant. Shorea is a South East Asian medicinal tree. This is minimum light spot in my yard. Hope she would flower. I choose plant 2 because I think plant 1 will stretch even further. Plant 1 was also moved to a shaded spot under an tree jasmin. This Millingtonia, Indian cork tree. I have sweet flowers all year round. People told me that dried tree jasmine flower mixed well with weed and is good for people with ashma and sinus. Kind of useless since why would asthmatic people even smoke? Plant 3 is my back up until I come up with a way to put her into flowers. Clone are doing nicely. And I am growing 3 clones from plant 1 and only one clone from plant 2. I’ll be donating the rest to friends with weight and blood sugar issues. By year end, I probable keep only one or two clones. One clone from bigger branch is growing just fine without any benefit form lighted grow box. Feeding plants with mid-level dose of cow manure tea and earth worm casting tea to keep leaves healthy. They should have been given a light dose of fertilizer. However, the flowering purslane are also eating and feeding soil microbes. Got my paws on triancontanol and brassinolide. Perhaps these will jolt Novarine THCV into flowering. Triacontanol won't dissolve in neither water nor alcohol. And it is emulsified with polysobate. Mixing of Triacontanol Triacontanol does not dissolve in polysorbate. It is rather emulsified. Means that it need to be melt and there need to be water added. My steps, 1) heated 70 grams of polysorbate in a big heat resistance glass cup. I used a beaker. Mix in 5 grams of triacontanol. And it does not melt. 2) Put in 100 cc of water and put in microwave. After the mix is boiled, triacontanol melt. There is foam. So a bigger cup and a spillage plate would prevent problem with my better half. 3) After heated, the mix is better. Then I added hot water from to make total 250 CC of solution. Then, the mix is clear. 4) Label the dose with pencil. This works better than labeling with ink. I use 5 cc at a time for my entire garden. 250 CC would last me 50 doses. No need to buy so much. This is cheap. Let’s see next week how effective they are.
