Ok so i had a bad week super high humidity im using a small dehumidifier that is helping a bit .. The plant is still growing strong but i cut a lot of leaves to avoid any mildew in the tent . The plant still smells great and is very citrus smelling . The constant rain and humidity has been a very difficult issue but she seems to be doing very well right now so im staying hopeful ..

With the new Mars Hydro FC 3000 hanging at full power, I added it 2 days ago and left it at 50% power then up to 75% this morning, and now at 100% after the nute change.... Very nice progress... I will defoilage heavy mid week once they are used to the new light and new nutes then leave it for the remainder.

Giorno 2 LST e verrà già pulita con una leggera defogliazione e più che altro lollipopping( solamente 1 nodo in meno per ogni ramo e 2 nei più sviluppati) perché è già più grande della compagna e ha i rami troppo cespugliosi che rovinano il flusso di aria e il loro corretto sviluppo. Changed out the nutes. Dropped the calmag and the Silica. Using just the Plant Prod MJ bloom. Gorilla Zkittles looks to have one plant that stacking. The other looks like it may be smaller yields. Time will tell and density of the bud definitely changes the weight.

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here: 1:. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. Easily a 2 week savings in time pre-flower🤟😎😳. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. The mainline training didn’t take long in DWC - roughly 4 weeks of veg. And she was ready for the flip. We only extended it a further 2 weeks to keep pace with another grow in the same space. Otherwise, I would’ve cut the veg. Time back to 4 weeks which would’ve made the behemoth of a root ball a little more manageable. We also iceballed the res. With frozen water bottles twice a day throughout the grow. Just to keep temps down and avoid any potential issues. Whether or not there’s a better, more efficient way to get these kinds of results remains to be seen. We’re still trying to strike that balance between faster veg. Times and maximized yields. If anything, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the hermie issue at the end had something to do with the root ball binding on itself due to size. The true culprit was an unanticipated light leak but still - The ball could’ve been 2/3 the size and likely have produced similar results🤷‍♂️. I’m giving the method a slim 4 because it was a great success but too long a veg. Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 Regardless of the final number, we had hoped that the yield would’ve been bigger. She’s a beauty of a plant but didn’t really puff out as much as we were hoping for. At least not a mainline on a 6 week veg. At 5.125oz we’re obviously not complaining and the colours in late flower were some of the best ever seen😎👌😎👌. What she did yield was frosty, dense and surprisingly stinky AF. I see no discernible difference in the quality of the terp. Profile vs. Any of our previous organic soil grows. For those who tout this as an advantage in soil media, I say get urself a bucket and a bubbler, then we’ll talk. Hydro is just straight up awesome: 1:. 4 palm trees on the yield - any haul north of 5oz is a great addition to the cellar: 1:😎: 1:😎. Week 5 started with low humidity and we placed an old humidifier inside the tent which it did increase the humidity lvls but we already have regret it as some leaves that came in contact with the hot vapor injected in the air got rotted. In week 4 one of the 3 Green gelato had popped a couple of white/green pistils but they passed mostly unnoticed. Now we are certain that this plan is in bloom stage. Really strange that it started to bloom in week 4 with 19 hours light . Autoflower strain put by mistake in the Green gelato package? Who knows.... We switched feeding to bloom on this plant ( 2ml biogrow/heaven/bloom and we added 1ml of Sensizym and Carboload)

Made my first mistake by just shoving the seed into an unsoaked rapid rooter without actually germinating first. Took a whole week to get to this point!

06.05. Day 100 60 Days of flowering Harvestday May 6th — what a day. Back from vacation in the afternoon and wrapped up the Grow Cup in the evening. It was a long, exhausting day, but one I’ll never forget. Those five legendary ladies made it truly unforgettable!
