Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Fall indoor; here i come. Thanks for tagging along. Cheers. Update: decided to make bubble hash with it. Update 2: pressed some hash into some shatter

Hello Diary. The third week of vegetation has passed and Haze Berry Auto is entering the pre-flowering phase. Haze Berry has grown 63cm in the first three weeks which is really quite but not surprising considering he is Sativa. Haze lengthened nicely and the distance between the branches is much larger than, for example, with his roommate Fat Banana. Now the leaves and branches are already causing problems when watering. I continue to add BioBizz to each watering on a schedule for that week, and I also started adding CalMag preventively. The plants have generally become more thirsty, now watering is almost every two days when I prepare 6 liters of water with which to water all three plants evenly. All in all, everything is fine for now and I’m looking forward to the start of flowering. Haze looks really promising. Let’s take a look at the review of the week. 09/10/2020 - Day 16. Watering. I added BioBizz as scheduled for the third week and added 1.5ml / lit CalMag preventively. p.H. I lowered the values to 6.4 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. The temperature of the water I water with is always around 18, 19 degrees. I also put in a Box and another fan. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 48% humidity. 11/10/2020 - Day 18. Watering. This time I didn’t add BioBizz but just put 1.5ml / lit CalMag and lowered the p.H. value at 6.4. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 45% humidity. 13/10/2020 - Day 20. Watering. BioBizz for the third week and CalMag preventively. p.H was 6.3 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 45% humidity. 14/10/2020 - Day 21. Photography, Watering and height measurement. After photographing for the end of the third week of vegetation, I measured the plants on the farm and after all watered with BioBizz and added CalMag preventively. p.H. I dropped to 6.4 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.2 degrees and 45% humidity. Haze Berry Auto # 1 - Day 21. - 63 cm Haze Berry Auto # 2 - Day 14. - 25 cm This week the vegetation is over and I am entering the flowering phase, which is obvious given the development of the plants. For now, they look happy and content. Their conditions are pretty good and I will try to keep it that way. See you next week.

The girls are finishing strong 💪 Smells are incredible, frost is frosty… the colours are amazing, lots of deep red, purples ❤️ I’m watching daily now, looking with my wireless hand held microscope , it makes it pretty easy to determine when I want to harvest. Typically I wait for 10-15 % amber, but I think I will try to harvest this with mostly cloudy. I’ve learned that he plant will continue the process, even after the plant has been cut down. No nutes this week, and the plant has been continuing to use up its leftovers. My PPM runoff has been very low after watering, right where I want to be, doing this method in the past has allowed me to to keep nutrients going for them, and not have to cut off in week 6 or later. Just a gradual tapering, until I am able to run straight phd water for at least 2-4 feeds before harvest. They are very close and will be coming down within the next 7 days

I have named the other 2 plants for easier recognition - Dux and Princeps. The plants are growing steadily and from what I can see they're growing without any defects. Fynix is a slower growing plant, probably because the shell wouldn't come off for a couple of days, but he's catching up. I'm considering the training methods that I could use, and I was thinking I could use both topping and LST or just LST. I'll probably try both methods and leave one plant so I can see the differences. If some one could share his/her experiences I would be very grateful and you have my thanks in advance.

Dear diary, Week 5 completed and after a scare last week with magnesium deficiency, we were able to get it sorted and continue the mainlining. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 32: Gave a foliar of calmag water at 3.0ms 6.1ph during light off so it’s more gentle on the leaves followed by a regular feeding at 1.46ms 6.1ph. Still seeing some deteriorating continuing on lower leaves, so will get epsom salt tomorrow to really target magnesium and increase the calmag with 0.7ml/l in feeds going forward. ⏰ Day 33: Gave a foliar of epsom salt at 6.6g/liter(3.2EC 6.3ph)as lights went off but as I read more my ratios were off and I diluted the solution with 50% regular water. Regular feeding at 1.45ms 6.2ph was given at lights on. When inspecting the girls a few hours later they look a lot healthier already, so clearly magnesium was the issue. Will give them today to recover and if everything keeps looking good by tomorrow, I will do the next topping. If so I will have lost 5 days of progress due to the deficiency, but that’s the upside with photos I guess vs autos. ⏰ Day 34: Another foliar of epsom salt applied and feeding of 1.5l each at 1.56ms 5.8ph. A few hours later topping nr 2 done making it 4 tops each now and stripped the remaining growth. ⏰ Day 35: Did a quick check before lights off and they are praying and looking good considering the topping. Then I did a regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.5ph when lights went on. Still looking good and no continued signs of the magnesium issue. ⏰ Day 36: Regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.6ph. Girls are looking healthy and enough has grown out that I can start tying down the 4 new mains. Will probably top them again in 1-2 days if everything progresses nicely. ⏰ Day 37: Foilar of epsom given just as lights turned off followed by regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.8ph when lights turned back on. ⏰ Day 38: Regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.9ph. Topping nr 3 was also done bringing it to 8 tops each and I will do the 4th and final topping as soon as the nodes have developed a bit more. In terms of height it’s worth mentioning that one of the branches of G.C #2 escaped her binds so one of the sides is 18cm while the other matches the others in the tent more at 14cm.

Fed compost tea on Wednesday without added Bio Pk. Plain water all following feedings. Did a light defoliation of some older fan leaves which has let more light in around the main stem. I have used soft ties to stake her into the ground, this helps to prevent her from poking back out of the substrate once I bury the stem. I have buried her up to the first node. I’m so far very happy with how she has been growing. She is very healthy looking currently.

Got some sealant to properly seal my DIY CO2 generator and lil maggie seems to like it. Her buds are starting to swell up. For the CO2 generator I did the following: 2 Liter Bottle -> 1 Liter Bottle -> Fan (Fermenting) -> (Water Filter) -> (Distribute) Ingredients: Sugar - 3/4 Cup Yeast - 1 Teaspoon Water - 6 Cups Step 1: Add 6 cups of room temperature water to the 2 liter bottle. Step 2: Add 3/4 cup of sugar to the water and mix until sugar is fully dissolved. Step 3: Add 1 teaspoon of yeast and let sit until bubbles appear in water filter bottle.
Step 4: Direct the end hose to the plant canopy. CO2 is heavy so it falls, use fan to blow it to the plant canopy.

Hello fellow growers! 🌱 Despite a few bumps along the way, I'm thrilled to share that my contest journey is officially underway. After some delivery hiccups with the controller, the third attempt was the charm – it finally made it to my doorstep! 🚚💨 The initial excitement hit a snag when I faced issues connecting the controller. 🤔 Thankfully, the fantastic support team guided me through the troubleshooting process, and voila! 🛠️ My controller is now up and running smoothly. As I eagerly await the next stages, I haven't ventured into using the light adapter just yet. Stay tuned for updates on my growing adventure! 🌿

This week I switched from feeding them the General Hydroponics MaxiBloom to KoolBloom. I kept the same pattern with feeding. I feed them the nutrients then just pH'd plain H20 the following day. I pH at 5.8-5.9. I also defoliate as I go so the plant doesn't get stressed out and stop focusing on flowering. These ladies are definitely starting to stink and get sticky!

Blue Dream Auto has grown a little, but I think more was going on in the coco mix. I imagine she will make some progress this next week. She looks healthy and she is getting nutrition with the darker shade of green development in her leaves. Everything is going well, and ready for her to shine. 🤣Thank you Medic Grow, and Seedsman. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 https://www.seedsman.com/?a_aid=Mrsour420. The plants would have been growing well if I were there to figure out what was wrong with them but I was on the first week of a 2 week vacation so my gf didn't know what to do with them and I could only try to give tips from afar. I assumed they would all die.

This week went well. I continued with the slightly feeding schedule (CalMag + Micro + Grow + Bloom). Today I have cleared the growth below the net a bit and took some clones from all plants to preserve the phenotypes. Let's go in to the final week of VEG!
