Blue cheese smelling lovely not much smell off the Sweet ZZ yet

Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.

73 Day 10 Weeks to Harvest

Ive got two Skunk Apple Runz plants(tossed 1 when I repotted the plants) with exotic-looking leaves and some great genetics. These are seeds I made and both the parents were top notch. They're both about five inches tall and growing strong they both seem to have the growth strength from the ricky bobby Unfortunately, one of them might not make it because of some damage or mutation im not sure, it just seems to have stop growing upward correctly but the other one's looking really healthy. Happy late turkey day grow diaries world!!!! It's now day 24 from seed for all the seedlings I have going. The past few days the plants have really started to take off. There roots have really started to dig in. Every other water I am still giving 2ml per gal of fox farm grow big. I keep having to tell myself not to add any more nutes other than that. I don't want to fry my plants but I also want they to start jumping. I'm quite excited for the coming week, I think the next 7 days or so is when the plant really starts to transform and look more like a pot plant than just some random little green thing. A few days ago I decided to move the plants from under my 55w cheep amazon light to under my spider farmer 100w newer version light with the good leds in it. The plants will hopefully be ready to up pot them here soon and get them in the large tent. Sometimes when growing multiple different strains it can be really hard to balance giving to much or to little light. You don't want the faster growing plants to get to stretched out waiting on the slower plants to catch up I spend Thanksgiving day morning transplanting the plants into 2gal pots. I am useing spme promix potting soil it's my 1st time tring this soil. It is actually doing really well the roots were all white and nice looking. I think next time I'm going to add some worm casting, kelp, granular mycos, and a little bit extra perlite. I just didn't have the money with christmas coming to splurge for all the extra stuff. I got rid of 2 plants 1 of the bubble og and 1 skunk apple runtz. There is only room for 10 pots in the 2x4 tent. I will peob only bring 8 of them to flower, always good to have back ups. Yesterday I also stuck the plants back under the 500w medicgrow mini sun 2 in my 2x4 tent. They did great under it the 2nd half the day I was happy they didn't get stressed. I had put them under that light a little early about 10 days ago or so. I am expecting in a week these plants will ge going crazy with growth

So my new Mars Hydro FC-E1500 is here. Swaped the very old MarsHydro LED in the middle. Gave them a little bit more CalMag and for the 1st Wedding Cake Bio Grow. Very minimal trimming. I noticed that the leafs from the 2nd Wedding Cake are glossy like. I think it could be too much nitrogen. Stoped giving her Bio Grow 1 week ago. Thanks for all the answers, i will flush both the weddingcakes out and see how they react. Also measuring the run off EC and PH and also soil PH. 1/10/25 I like this community already 😁 you guys gave me such good answers to my grow question. So I measured soil PH roughly between 7 and 7,5 so alkaline. Not good. I flushed with Phed water 5,3 and measured PH of runoff at 6,6 and ppm at 1480 . Repeated, measured runoff PH 6,3 ; ppm 1210. Repeat, but with PHed 5,0 water, runoff PH 5,9 ppm 1010. Stoped. 1st WddngCake took 3 flushes with total of 30 l of water. 2nd Wddncake got a flush with 25 l of water at the end runoff PH aprox 5,9 ppm 990 . Gave them both Nematodes because i saw a reduction in fungus gnats that is good. Almost none flying around. Fingers crossed. 😊 1/11/25 Aprox. 24h from "The Big Flush" 😁 and they seem to be happier. Temp in tent 23 C and RH 44% - 48% . Also added a few photos of them after the flush. 1/12/25 Aprox. 48h after flush. They are doing very good. 1st WddngCake shows off more of her colors with splashes on the calyxes and sugar leafs. 2nd WddngCake stands tall and bulks the buds up. I also noticed that Pheno 1 WddnCake has a fruitty creamy like sweat smell and the 2nd Pheno ,the tall girl, reminds me of a tropical IPA, fruity , fresh and pungent like cousin hops. Also the end of this week, today, looking forward at the week ahead. In the tent 22 C at the moment with 50% RH because i let the mars hydro ventilators off for the day. they are back on now.

Hello dear ones 😌 I hope you had a few nice warm days here in Germany, the plant really enjoyed it. Since it's been warm during the day she's been getting 16/8 again and she loves it. This also enabled me to take photos that reveal their true beauty. At the beginning of the cup I really thought to myself: Oh God, how is this going to work? But at that point, I didn't even know what was still in store for me... There were many events, both positive and negative, and the plant noticed this. She had to endure a lot because of these circumstances; I couldn't give her the warmth she needed and I had to completely change her light cycle. I haven't even changed the water in the dwc since the first week of flowering because it's not financially possible at the moment. But Zamnesia seems to have done a good job with the breeding, because the genetics are strong and do not hermaphrodite despite high stress: LST Fimming light stress.The Auto Runtz smells grazy fruity and I'm just thrilled THANK YOU ZAMNESIA ❤️ I also have to commend Advanced Nutrients for the starter kit with the PH Perfect Sensi Grow and Bloom. Since I switched to economical, I'll definitely be able to complete the run.And I don't have any problems even though I don't change the water. The plant is actually my 2nd run and I have to say in the DWC game changer🙏🏻😌❤️ Let's come to Green Sensation by Plagron: Since I know a run without it, and now this one, I just ask myself:What kind of green magic juice is this?Through Green Sensation I have to say, this has become by far my thickest plant at this stage Than I ever harvested. Not much to be said for this lady. Her calmag issue seems to be still present and I'm suspecting lockout. She's on pHd water and calmag for now. Her aroma is amazing. So minty but cheesy at the same time. Amazing. She is fattening up good regardless of any issues. Not long to go for this girl!

I tried a new germination method this time. I wasn’t happy with the peat pellets I was using. They couldn’t handle the moisture and would mess with my balls. So this time I used small coco pots with coco substrate and dynomyco mixed in. Covered and labeled each one with a ziplock baggy and boom, 3 days later all of them were up and moving. Solid 4/4. Don’t mind the AvT finishing up in the middle.

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. This week has been good, no problems to say of. No changes to the light schedule or nutrients. I do have a Lemon Pie Auto doing something strange stuff it is @ 51 days old and is giving off some mutations in the fan leafs, and she stretched to double the height of the other 2 in the tent. Also has begun to develop a few small brown spots on a couple fans too but other than that all is well.

Lovely to smoke. With a great weight given the set back with nute lock. Which Is the downfall to this run. Because this happened In last 3weeks which certainly resulted in small buds. However I am totally pleased with final weight and smoke from.this girl. Xx

Sanlight evo at 100% Day 64: watered today with supplements. Getting high humidity levels, so I sprayed purolyt. Will propably flush in a couple of days. Day 68: flushed yesterday. One week now and then 72 hours of darkness. Looks and smells really good🤙
