~ DUTCH PASSION / SUPER SATIVA SEED CLUB FAST FLOWER 'TESTER' A and 'TESTER' B ~ Well cannafam, here we go again on another growing adventure together! This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/1- Week Three of veg is here for the pair of 'Testers' from SSSC/Dutch Passion Seeds. Both 'Testers' continue to do exceptionally well despite temp's in the greenhouse reaching just over 90℉ at the peak of the day. Both continue to show great vigor, color and are both constantly 'praying'! 5/3- Watering both continues every 2-3 days depending on what the plants want. Both girls are looking like champs! 5/5- Today I watered both with 8oz. of well water, to which I added 1 tsp. of Uncle Willies Worm Tea Concentrate. 5/6- Well fam, the Third week of veg is in the rear view mirror for these two beautiful 'Testers' from SSSC and Dutch Passion. Unfortunately, I have to go out of state for 7-10 days because of a family emergency, so I won't have pic's for next week. I will have a family member looking after the plants in the greenhouse to make sure all survive until I return! We coast on down the mountain. I'm ripen/flushing the 2 small girls this week and letting them finish and taking down the 2nd plant tonight! They probably could have gone a bit longer but I'm ready to move on and they are still gonna be a great smoke! ______________________________________________________________ Another feed of ripen. The trichomes on the short plant are about there the tall one isn't tho. I'm frustrated b/c i need the grow bags! ______________________________________________________ Flushing and getting there! Leaves are fading and tricomes are changing! I have the next gen crowded in there too... these girls need to finish! Also hoping I'm almost done drying the first plant too. ___________________________________________________ Dry isnt quite ready a week into it. i can wait 10 days. I did chop of a little bud to try and ooo baby! it singed my nose when I opened the grinder! So delicious! I'm way excited now! Things are moving forward. My ladies seem to be doing well. “Josefine” is slowing down a bit, but still looks healthy. I took a few more chopsticks to help against the wind. But I can remove that now.

And here we are with another week just over... And most probably next week I will also chop her down!! In these week probably for the heat stress she got I started seeing some main buds foxtailing. We are in the 10/14 days of plain pHed water, but I'm considering cutting her before the full flush is complete, this cause I can also see some amber trichomes. It was fun to grow in the back yard. I wouldn’t grow again though. They get stressed and stunted very easily. Don’t smell. Low yield. Low potency.

Somehow I miscalculated the days and started week 6 prematurely. I will just continue here thru to week 7 Day 32 From Seed NYD#2 Started LST. Pot was light, watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. NYD#3 The pony tail backfired. The main is mangled. Despite small nodes, I started LST and watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. Day 33 From Seed Did some research and found out the ponytail should only be used during the light cycle and removed for the dark period. I left it on, which caused the ugly. Lesson learned! Day34 Adjusted and added LST. Watered #2 at 6.5. #3 was still heavy, no water needed. Day 37 Watered, adjusted LST Day 39 From Seed Watered, adjusted LST. Found a bug that isn't a fungus gnats (NYD#3). Inspected both plants for more. Did a neem oil top drench and added Vicks Vapor Rub to the pot rims (bug deterrent). So raised light roughly 4 inches. Day 41 Light watering, adjusted LST ties, top drenched with Neem Oil. Added a few ounces of peroxide to the humidifier. They'll both need a top dress soon.

Today was "the day", I had to select some ot them for reason of space and discretion and the selected plants have been moved to bigger pots, as it follows: Do-Si-Dos (auto), clay pot about 15L = 10cm height (the other one showing already pre-flowering was discarded) Cookies Gelato, 9,5L pot = 10cm height White Widow, 9,5L pot = 11cm height 2x ICE, 9,5L pot + 12,5L pot for the second = 11-12cm height (I kept both because they were both amazing!) The choice of the pot volume was based on the expected height to be discrete, which should be max 80cm and ChatGPT helped me to calculate the pot volume (it suggested me 7,5 to 10L), but I was slightly more generous especially with the auto-flowering. Last year my Sticky Orange auto got the best yield with the same clay pot, so I tried the same :P

I got a few seeds from the hermie Purple Maroc, but most of the buds seem dense but small. I planned on smushing a bunch of the lower buds, but it didnt work, so I have a bunch of poorly trimmed buds to give to friends :)
