Day 7 - lollipopping and light LST Still slow to flower like the double grape. Still expecting big buds

I have been fertigating and also emptying the de-humidifier water into the driest looking substrate as it fills up. I have been keeping the tent door open and pushing more air through with fans. I have had to tied up just about every branch on plant 2 as the buds are rapidly approaching peak density and the weight of them is causing all the stems to bend over. Despite not having a main cola, if I manage to harvest, dry, and cure this plant, I think it's going to exceed 100g. The highest buds are showing around 2-3% amber - I am counting the days now, this girl is very close. The harvest window is open, but I am waiting for about 10 times more amber. Interestingly. using the loupe I have discovered that plant 1 is likely to be the next to be harvested despite both plants 4 and 5 being ahead of her. She is showing early signs of fade and I am seeing about 1% amber. No fade, no amber on the other three plants. Some heat stress/damage on higher fan leaves. Not concerned, nothing do be done, the plants got too big and I am only happy to be able to keep them upright and still in the tent, even though they are higher than the light. 08/16/2020 Just posting the picture of my seed to harvest plant on an 11-13 schedule. Will post pics of the others this evening. Pic #2 is 4days later. #2,#3,#4 are the other contestants I like #2 #2,#3,#4 are out side until? Light schedule is closer to flowering tent 11-13 schedule, I've noticed that they do not like any light irregularities and they will herm. So I recommend a equatorial light schedule that the breeder suggest.11-13.

August 18, day 108 (day 41f), the buds are going through their final ripening before harvest. They are putting on a bit of weight still, but the trichomes are close to where I would like them to be (entirely cloudy) and there is some foxtailing starting on some of the buds. I don't mind the foxtailing as it means more harvest weight, but the plant is definitely getting closer to the end of its life. The Mandarine scent and beautiful red tones make this strain a winner. The buds are chunky in a good, balanced, "I'm not going to find rot in the middle" kind of way. August 21, day 111 (44f), flush soon, cut soon. End of week 9, harvest time! She has dense heavy buds for the most part. Just the lowest and most inner bud sights are fluffy and small, compared to the rest. I will update with dry weight results and smoke taste review in about 2 weeks. Update - March 7 - today was the first smoke and then weigh-in for the OG Kush. Total dry weight 242.2 grams, not including the smoke sample.

9/30-10/6 10/4: Today, we are halfway through the third week of flower. Bud sites everywhere. Leaves look great. Environment on point. No issues. The smaller plant has completely caught up and is now the larger plant by a little. The plants are sliiiiiightly different colors. It's not yet possible to tell if it's phenotypic variation or just different N levels in the medium. Curious to see how things turn out. The one other time I grew a Barney's Farm plant was the only other time I've grown two plants at once. They looked extremely different from one another. One looked like the pic on the package, and one didn't at all. One had the advertised terpene profile, one didn't. pH upped to 6.1-6.2 I got really paranoid about the pot bases because people online were complaining that roots grew into the wicks and stopped water flow. So, I pulled off a delicate and difficult operation where I pulled out (one of) the bases and swapped in a clean one. In the second one I replaced the wick lines. Neither seemed to be particularly rooty. I think that's because I didn't use the bases through most of the veg stage when the roots are growing. Anyway, the bases are clean now. One last thing: I put ArmorSi and CalMag in the reservoir of the "smaller" plant. In the other one, I only put ArmorSi. It seems like the branches are pretty flimsy, but it's still early in flower.

Después de dejar las plantas 1semana más de lo previsto ya estaban perfectas para cortar, una vez cortadas las manicure todas bien, me gusta manicurarlas cuando están acabadas de cortar porque tienen las hojas duras y me resulta más simple y me gusta más el resultado final. Después las tuve secando 2 semanas a 50% humedad. En el curado las pongo en botes de cristal herméticos y con bolsas de curado (Bóveda) que hacen que se mantengan la humedad perfecta sin necesidad de abrir los botes, después de 5 meses de curado ya no pude aguantar más y empecé con esta variedad, el olor cambio totalmente y tiene un sabor complejo a madera con tonos dulces y sabrosos,el humo es bien denso y blanco. Los cogollos están como piedras y con muy poca cantidad se estira muchísimo, en cuanto al efecto de primeras es energizante y dan ganas de hablar pero al poco rato se convierte en un fuerte efecto corporal que te deja en el sofá sin hacer nada aparte de dormir😵.

They are looking real good. I think I may have gotten some nutrients on one plants leaves and it caused some yellowing and leaf curl, I’m hoping it straightens out.
