Week 14 Day 101 Flower Day 51, she's just about there. Going to apply Terra Powers finisher later during the week. She still has a lot of mycelium left on top and throughout her, I really dialed in the enzymes on this grow. My charts aren't updated properly I'll finish it this week, and will be showing root shots and hopefully we will be seeing a covered pot in roots and not just compacted soil. There's been a lot of fungi and mycelium, that is partly down to Terry Power mixing well with organic soil, it works well as a great soil conditioner. But it takes a while, I constantly fed this girl enzymes. And man O man, look at them buds. The colas are huge in length, and that's down to poor mainline practices and uneven energy distribution. As for left and right been similar, well, put it this way, you'd struggle to actually make something that's more uneven energy wise than this, there's nodes growing over nodes, nothing is even, really terrible mainline it the way it's meant to be done, the purpose was totally ditched here and it was very lazy. And to be honest, unknowingly is an understatement. And the fact I had such failures on my 2nd round with germination, I got to focusing the last few weeks, and pult it all back together and I've hit l got 2 pretty darn good looking phenos, (with no clones taken, another rookie mistake, if you find a pheno you should always have a clone tent and a few weeks into flowering if it's no good or hermies than ditch them, but if you get one like my SLH dwc with very low leaf to calyx ratio if you just have 1-2 clones, you are golden. So currently I have 5 different photos running and I'm pheno hunting. Anyways back to this grow. So, she's nice and fat, but nothing you'd really want to clone, there's nothing special about it. Medium-calyx ratio and good frosty bud. I'm happy with it. Thankfully I'm running a few of the New Green House Unreleased Strains for testing also for barneys so I think photos have stolen my attention. Keeping the RH between 40-45 temp is more stable atm at 28c not really getting low temperature as we are in the height of summer. But I don't care, I have the winter coming to do terpness. I've got 1 SLH left, I just hope she's a good pheno. The buds on this are monsters, and really happy with them. Lots of mycelium left so there's food left and then later in the week I'll apply the finsher. Just a low dose. D103 Sadly my mycelium got hit with some mold. Only 2 small spots, 90% most of the mycelium went through the norm, it degraded as organic matter and made for some heavy buds, she is struggling to hold herself up altogether now, am going to have to brace her to get the best out of the last 10days. She is done, but because of ALL the heavy minerals, that aren't organic, it has HAS to be flushed. Now I was on the ropes the last few weeks about flushing but I've been flushing both my SLH for the last 4 days and when you walk into my tent now, wow, the bang of 🍋 is so strong. I'm so glad I flushed these, As I was like, this is a multiple award winner, so I was like, its not from the smell of the bud as it stands but wow, its like she's at to been doing a 10k run and is sweating, the smell is so beautiful. Wow, wow, wow. I haven't been this excited to try some weed, ever. About the mold, its never a good thing. But as it started on actually fungus I'm not too worried about it. Now, if it had of just been there, I'd be like shit wtf, so I dug through some soil and scraped away the 2 bits of mold, DISCARDED, and mixed up the remaining mycelium into the soil with the spoon I use to mix my soil on top to help dry a little if over watered. Day 28 flowering: Another enjoyable week using this little ray of sunshine.. The 2 plants under it are thriving and showing perfect health. The coverage is plenty enough for both plants in their 30L pots and at a height of approx 18 inches above them both, has enough depth penetration to reach the lower growth developing. The Northern lights has some nice stacking colas forming which will hopefully end with a stout but bud heavy girl. Her golf ball tops are a good sign for the 3rd week flowering too. She has plenty of mains to help this happen I think. My Grandaddys Mimosa is also doing brilliant now and has so much growth on her to build nice buds onto. She looks a little more productive than the Northern light too so should be an interesting race. The others moved out of the lights canopy are all going well too. Looking forward to the Gorilla cookies too. All in all another great weeks performance from the Xs1500. Onward and upward growmies Be well .

I harvested Whiskey Zulu at 75 days, it smells amazing and isn't building anymore. It's a really light and airy structure but smells like a super funky sour grandaddy purple. I quick dried and smoked some lowers and the flavor reminds me of GDP x Amherst Sour Diesel × an earthy og (with a slight note of northern lights.) Fantastic flavor and potency. It's like I'm smoking multiple buds at the same time—it's so complex. Makes me want to find and breed this pheno to get this flavor on a bigger plant with a decently dense bud structure. The flavor profile is nothing like anybody online said about it that I could find. Serious stuff for a freebie

Started flowering, everything is fine but some leaves look bad, what do you think about reason?

She is short and compact.tight internodal spacing.large fan leaves. Typical indica looking plant. Cut of 2 big fan leaves and kept lst as much as possible to open her and create more colas.

Bubba Kush Pre 98 is an easy plant to grow. She gave me no hassles or worries even in a warmer climate than she would like. The leaves are a dark green color naturally. Yield wasnt much, I am waiting for buds to dry and cure to provide the dried weight. I did not feed them any nutrients. The one got so dense that I had to move it indoors to avoid bud rot - im almost convinced it was an autoflower and they made a mistake at the seedbank because it was short and flowered out of nowhere. Outdoor buds were sundried - to lower THC for novice and paranoid smokers, I tried the smoke and it was a very pleasant high - removed anxiety, stress, overthinking, and relaxed my body. Perfect.

Starting week 4 off with a few updates: We lost two soldiers today, 11/25/23, and pulled both of the struggling watermelons from the herd. Lowered the lights a bit as I felt they were a bit too high and to prepare for the real vegetative phase coming this week. DIY C02 bottles bubbling away nicely. Transplanted the remaining girls to their final home (5 gallon fabric pots) on 11/26/23. Used Photone app to dial in to proper PPFD at 350 as I was a bit high. Nearing end of week 4, I’m really starting to see rapid growth. Since I’m going with a SOG for this grow, I won’t be doing any topping but I will be doing some LST to start week 5 with 90 degree LST clips. (I’m calling it the 5x5 LST; 5 weeks at the 5th node pair) 😆

Can’t wait to try another strain by short stuff seeds. Easy to grow and very high quality product if grown correctly

If you need a strain that is resistant to cold and have a good yield just don’t think about it,just try it.

10/06/2018 Week 3 flowering and she is developing very nicely, a couple of tops poking through scrog. Drain and fill reservoir, roots are huge it will be interesting to see how many liters it will take to bring up to full. 10/08/2018 Peaked at the roots, and they are massive i fear that she will be limited in root space, 6 liters to top reservoir starting out I needed 9 liters, so I guess roots take up 3liters worth of space! Time to keep close eye on water level, as feeding frenzy is about to commence.😀, and definitely getting her stretch on!,so if i get the Captains Cake taste, I be happy,cause she definitely got some stretch i wanted. 10/11/2018 Stripped lower branches under the scrog, good growth bud sights getting denser, posting before and after pictures of week 3 defoiliating.
