Banana Guava – Week 5 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) Excellent weather continues, so Banana Guava is receiving maximum sunshine and consistent feeding. She’s thriving outdoors under these ideal conditions. This week I got better sticks for support and secured her nicely. She’s now well over 15 cm tall with a gorgeous, deep green color and strong-looking leaves.

Zealix is growing well. I did a solution change today. I switched her light time 2 weeks ago. I defoliated her to open her up for stretching, and lollipopped her. Everything is looking good. A new journey has begun. A very special one since I am doing first photoperiod dependant strains and first time doing in coco. I decided to put four plants in the grow tent and to do main lining. It is going to be quite challenging because of all new techniques I’ll be using. Day 1: all four seeds sprouted nicely. I put them in small pots until they don’t grow and be ready for transplantation. I just watered them with a pH controlled water measured to 5.8.

Cada vez mas cerca del objetivo, van flying que te cagas! Jajajajajaja están creciendo muuy bien, se expanden muuuy bien y los abonos se controlan. Hubo una ligera sobrefertilización al hacer el trasplante pero ya lo solucione, la planta mas afectada de las 4 fue la "Critical" normal, pero a esa le meti 10L de riego con flush para arrastrar todas las sales y demás. A las otras 3 les hice lo mismo pero con 5L. Ahora que ya están casi secas, han tardado 3 dias en secarse mas hoy el dia entero 4, están maravillosas, todas con sus hojas fuuuertes y mirando al techo, la critical es un poco la que aun le queda un poquito, pero con el proximo riego yo creo que ya se recupera. Luego, voy a ver si en breve planto alguna auto y la meto al indoor unas 2 o 3 semanas y me la saco al exterior... Ya veré sinceramente que en mi exterior tengo ciertos problemas dificiles de controlar, entre otros, vecinos que no saben lo que significa la palabra intimidad 😅. Aaahh lo olvidaba!! Se ven hojas manchadas, eso es porque les metí ayer una limpieza guapa guapa foliar por delante y por detras a todas las plantas con un producto de estos tipicos de jabón potasico + aceite de neem, ya junto, en plan los 2 en 1. De entre las cosas que he ido aprendiendo con los cultivos, es que es muy importante hacer estas aplicaciones y ya no estas a modo preventivas, sino agua sola ayuda mucho, especialmente pulverizarla lo mas fuerte posible A LOS TALLOS, a la totalidad de los tallos/ramas de las plantas. Es verdad que los bichos suelen irse a las hojas a comer peeeeeeeeeero en mi experiencia, su base las hacen en los tallos y ramas, si, en la parte mas cercana a las hojas, peeero en las ramas! Por lo que minimo una vez a la semana procuro pegarle una buena pasada como si de una Karcher se tratara y si que el armario es nuevo y procuro tener cuidado, pero de momento todo bien respecto a plagas.

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. This week we are helping this lady to grow even more using plenty of techniques to boost its power and to redirect its energy to the main colas we are working on... We gonna wait a little bit until it gets packed again to start defoliation once more, in the meantime we continue to add nutes and water frequently as schedule in our program so we can get the best of her Hopefully, she will get real good Alright guys did you see what we did on the 21 st? We want this girl to grow and give us its best yield :) let's see if we can achieve it

Looking good, getting frosty. I’ve got a feeling it will get bigger buds than Purple Haze Watering every two days 2l, budd are getting juicy. Right now hard to keep humidity under 55, doing a lot of defoliation almost daily. LST should have been better, got unfortunately uneven

This week went well. She finally got some good size to her and should be done stretching as the week ends. I did a slight lst on her and opened her up a little. She recieved a good soaking today amd shouldn't need topped off till mid to late next week. She isn't so much a problem child anymore.

sorry I missed a week😪 been very busy plus its been very hot this past two weeks but she seems to love the sun and the heat regardless that fact. she really hasn't growth up much but with the fimming lots of new growth training with a tomato cage n its really helping out as y I u guys and gals can see thank you for stopping by 🙏 stay tuned let's see how bushy she gets by next week feeding day is tomorrow she always loves that happy growing everyone 🌱🙏

We have some fasciation going on. Anyone ever experienced this before?

Here we are on day 28. On day 23 i spoted Spider Mites. Next day i been spray leavs whit neem oil, for now SM are gone i hope they will not come back. She coming along nicely & bigest in grow room😁🤩🤘✌️

Week 14 Day 92 (13/11/2020)💧: Great start to the week with watering today and because all the girls are entering their 4th week of flower, I will again be increasing the BioBloom as per the commendations on the watering chart, but since the pH has been increased they are definitely looking great and have enough nutrients between the watering days. So today I gave the girls 4.5 ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and 1.5ml of TopMax for 1.5L of water. I think I will be giving the same nutrients for the rest of the week as well. Day 93 (14/11/2020): Not that many updates today actually. The girls are looking amazing as always Day 94 (15/11/2020): I wanted to check the trichomes on the girls today with a loupe to see how they are developing up closer but I have no idea where my loupe is :( Really wanted to look closer at the flowers but will have to find it first to take some close up pictures as well Day 95 (16/11/2020)💧: We watered the girls today and gave them the same nutrients as before. They were watered with 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow and 1.5ml of TopMax. I think the TopMax is definitely making the buds fatten up Day 96 (17/11/2020): Took some lovely pictures of the girls today. Was finally able to capture on camera the redness of the flowers (or at least on girl#1). It’s quite difficult to the get the true colours because of the way the camera perceives the light. Day 97 (18/11/2020): Just can’t get enough of the smell of the girls omg they smell so great. It’s kind of a mixture of citrus and spicy at the same time. Cannot wait to taste them Day 98 (19/11/2020)💧: I keep wanting to measure the pH to make sure that it is still above 6.0 but I haven’t had enough time because it takes a while, but I will make sure to measure the pH before the next watering. So as mentioned at the beginning of the week, I will be giving the same nutrients. I watered the girls with 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and 1.5 of TopMax. So far the girls are looking good and happy with the nutrients. I’m only noticing yellowing leaves at the very bottom because there is not enough light, other than that the leaves seem like all the nutrients are balanced well. Also it looks like have finally stopped stretching length-wise and started focusing on growing the buds because the height is the same as last week. But really amazing progress this week, I’ve included a video of all the girls in the tent as well so it’s easier to see how different they are!

Willkommen zur BW1, die Pflanzen befinden sich mittlerweile im Stretch und haben das SCROG Netz fast erreicht. Ab nächster Woche werde ich dann beginnen müssen, die Triebe nach und nach ein zu Flechten. Leider hat #2 nicht die selbe Höhe, aber da kann ich mit leben. Die ältere Pflanze zeigt leichte Anzeichen von Überdüngung, auch das ist nicht so tragisch aber wertvoll für die nächsten Grows. Mittlerweile hat GHF auf ihrer Seite die Empfehlung auf 3G/L Substrat angepasst, ich würde jedem empfehlen erst einen Teil und ab Blütenbildung den Rest der gesamten Düngermenge zu geben. Mittlerweile lässt sich auch ein leichter Geruch im Zelt vernehmen.

Following the plan, we've reached the end of week 12. Apparently, everything is fine with this girl and all the others, nothing to worry about.
