Last week of veg, starting 12/12 tomorrow as I'm starting to worry about space.. hopefully stretching isn't too much of an issue.. we shall see. I'm still not happy with my defoliation, I've been mostly removing large/damaged leaves and sucker branches off the bottom of the plants. I've been experimenting with the fan and scrog placement, placing one large fan oscillating below the canopy and two clip on fans above the tops and mostly using the scrog as a support for branches during flower as I somewhat failed to actually scrog.. Once again, any advice much appreciated and happy holidaze!

Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain. Just an insane grow. Paid silly money for the seeds but well worth it. Absolutely frost machine. One has rose Buds which I've never experienced. Fatty thc deposits all over the buds so one to press although I won't be. Hats of to exoticgenetix for this one 👏🏻 .. curing tip. Freeze the arse out of your room. Forget this 60/60 crap. 14-15c and 70 humidity. I will turn my dehumidifier on for 3hours once a day. Just make sure you have a fan blasting but not over your Buds More pics to follow 📷

Day 40

D33 - 19/02 Haven’t changed the reservoir this week yet. A few burnt tips on Northern Lights #2, will probably go a little lighter on nutes next feed - she’s definitely more sensitive to them than the other ones. Overall great looking girls and nice growth. The #2’s are higher than the #1’s, nodes developing nicely and the scrog is definitely helping with lateral growth as well. — D35 Mixed a new reservoir with roughly 19L, at around 70% strength. pH 6.0 and EC 1.1 Humidity has risen a bit, so I installed the dehumidifier again. Apparently the tip burning has stopped, or at least slowed, which is good. #1’s are at around 25cm height, while #2’s are around 40cm height. — D36 Did another defoliation session as the girls really needed it. Cleaned a lot of the big fan leaves, airflow and light penetration is way better now. A few hours after and they’re super happy again.

Day 42 - Another week gone by! No issues. Just water when dry. Gaia Green is proving itself to be a valuable addition. Makes growing so much easier. Speaking of easy, this strain takes well to any training induced on it but for this girl, I might just let her go naturally. We’ll see.

White widow has been doing better, but has not fully pulled out of her issues. She is doing a lot better in the overall.
