This week both Special Queens showed clear flowering signs. The larger, light-green pheno stretched faster, while the smaller, dark-green plant remained bushier and drank less water due to its recent transplant into the 35 L AutoPot. Both were top-fed with Biobizz nutrients (about 75 % schedule, EC ~1.0, pH 6.3) and continued to receive RO water via the AutoPot reservoir. The plants consumed around 3–5 cm daily from the 47 L tank, which was refilled and stabilized with CalMag. Several defoliation sessions were done to remove shaded fan leaves and open the canopy. The larger plant was slightly trained under the net, while the smaller one was carefully thinned out. After these steps, humidity improved noticeably inside the tent. A new AI climate controller was installed this week, which now keeps VPD stable around 1.0–1.2 kPa, even during the night phase. Overall, both plants look healthy and vigorous, with many bud sites forming. The setup feels stable, and the time-lapse footage shows daily leaf movement and recovery. The differences between phenos are striking, but both appear to be on track for strong flowering.

The girls super thirsty EC spikes when they drink so much water from 2 to 3.8 EC.

They're all doing well as far as I can tell. I've put a tubular heater in-between the pots that comes on when the lights go off as the temperature drops quick in there. Watering as usual but other than that I only check on them about 15 times a day. I tested the run off water for the first time and was 6.3 pH which is what I put in. Was also the first time I'd even emptied them as they normally just dry up by next feed. There's orange hairs on some of the lower buds now guess they're maturing 🤔 Was looking in to getting a microscope to have a look at the trichomes but tried using my phone camera first which I thought didn't do a bad job 😊 is only a S10 so would imagine the newer phones do an even better job 👍 Have what seems to be a CalMag deficiency in all 3 plants but only just came up in rusty spots from 12am to 6am they just appeared was really pissed off and worried about them all day at work 😪 gave them all a CalMag and 6.5 pH water soak of 500ml each and a 200ml foliar CalMag spray for extra effectiveness haha 🙄 and then gave them their normal feed til run off.. the trays were a bit slimy 🤔 hopefully it sorts itself out and have learnt to just use the CalMag every feed to be sure.

Exciting first few days setting up everything in and around the propagator. I think I'll start counting the vegging days when the seedlings are 7-10 days old.

Week 8 begins! Grandaddy Bruce is doing great, nice buds super frosty, sticky, heavy and dense. I continue to be impressed by this light and how this plant has grown under it.

Gelato Auto Week 2 These big girls have had an amazing week doubling in size. Heat has been a little issue with these two but over all they have been OK besides some leafs that have curled and showing a few rust spots on a couple leafs. I upped the water a little to 32oz a day. Over all good growth keeping plenty of air flow. Happy Growing Everyone.

I made a time-lapse while I was away for weeks 6-9. I had a helper water, and its interesting to see the plants sway with the watering cycles. Too bad I didn't continue this through flower. Maybe next time.

A mostly uneventful week for the outdoor photoperiods. The were watered once with the cal-mag/kelp solution and were kind of pounded with rain most of the week.Then It got very humid too. I was worried for the plants during the storm we had they we calling for 70 mph winds that took down some powder lines and trees down the street. While i don't have the plants rigidly staked the cages were able to support the plants during the storm. Im not sure if the stakes would help or hurt i have a feeling it would help them snap easier rather than bend with the wind. They all survived and are getting some nice intense sunlight after the storm. I'm hoping I will be able to take some clones this week. Also hoping that my mantis cocoons will hatch!

Thats it, last fan leaves are yellow and those girls are ready, they still pack up, loads of new pistils visible, despite all going brown from low temps during greenhouse period. I start to see ambers a lot, they are not so leafy and i lost 2 main colas to bud rot, better safe than sorrow !!! Theirs calyxes are well matured all stems browny pinky, they made a journey in full in my eyes and as always i still hate yellow leaves, don't want to slaughter bud while trimming. Think two more days, then 48 hours of darkness and late sunday eve - they are chopped and wet trimmed. Thursday. Added couple closeups, but they are far better then in photos, bulking up each day, packing trichs like crazy. This time buds don't look so lanky, from airy leafy crap, they become solid nugs... Its my third different grow of this strain. First 4 plants and Biggest clone looked really similar, this ones - more Real GG4 structure, love it !!! All got lite pinky , violet colours . All have fruity smell, just not last ones ;)) they are wild strawberries + . Amazing flavour of early buds tells me final harvest will be fire !!! Have stupid feeling, taking them down too early, but my yellow leaves OCD whispers me " Cut, cut, cut ..." ;))) Chop Chop Day. Wet trim chosen, they are sparkling !!! Fat, but still leafy ... Found 3 budrot spots, two would eat big colas, but low humidity forced those leaves just die off without infecting others, so it was perfect timing. Happy Growing !

Still running the same watering only when necessary..just flushed yesterday and upped nutes to 1/2 strength so we'll see how she reacts. Everything else is looking great. Room is getting a lil hot in the mornings but I got a/c blowing cool air so should be ok! Excited to serve her flower she's looking nice n bushy!

As the Ganja Farmer Seed's TKO is ripening and getting closer to harvest, I'm continuing to lower ppm levels while managing bucket water levels and ph. We're exactly at day 56 of flower (5/5/23) on Cinco de Mayo. The TKO reflects a flowering time of 60-65 days, so no more nutrients at this point. I'll continue to monitor Trichomes through next week (i.e., week 9 of flower). Once I see more amber (approximately 20-25%), I will begin a 2-3 day flush with straight RO water. At that point, she is ready to come down. The last bucket change end of week 7 strictly following GH's recommended dosage. That bucket change out brought an end to the ph swings she was beginning to experience. After the change out, the balance between water consumption, nutrient uptake, and ph is spot on. Specifically, while plant is up taking water, ph and ppm have maintained stability. She's looking and smelling incredible. There is a learning curve with DWC - no lie - but I've enjoyed the experience. She is an aggressive grower and challenging for maintenance. All in all, great genetics. Plants dried in the pots for 2days then hang for 2weeks at 60-65%rh. Buds were dense in most cases, they ended up being three totally different phenos but over all the smell was strong and taste was sweet. 8g pop corn and 25g sugar leaves in total.Zkittlez 1 37g total not all is in the pic, the smell was sweet. Zkittlez 2 52gs in total has a very pine like smell. Zkittlez 3 very stanky covered in thc snow white the camera does not do her justice.
