Buenas tardes familia, actualizamos la semana de las northern light xL, e de decir que es la más lenta del proyecto, aún así se ven como se forman unas buenas flores, por lo general compactas, iremos viendo por que todavía las va quedando. PH Muy controlado , a estas alturas por encima del 6,2. Ya les quitamos productos y pronto lavaremos raíces.

Effect: Expectations and training method: I know these genetics are a bit delicate so I’ll be taking things very easy. The breeder suggests topping and training the branches because she can grow fast and tall. By what I’ve seen from the local growers, she can produce some savory chunky buds which is what I’m aiming for. I’ll follow the breeder’s suggestion and Top/LST which is what I’ll be doing to almost all my other strains as well on this run. As for the yields I’m not expecting much given the numbers I got from local growers. No more than 40 grams per plant but always aiming for more. I’ve already smoked this strain grown by the breeder and other local breeders, which is what made me want to grow it myself. I expect nothing but trichomes and terps from these ladies. I just love her! 💚 Still a bit disappointed that she is an auto or something. I was looking forward to a jumbo plant this time around 😁 Extremely happy with her resilience tho bar none! Most say you shouldn't do much with autos because their lifespan is short and they don't do well with stress, but this girl right here defies everything that I've read! Have harvested her on November 3rd and now she is drying. Will later add the result of the dry weight. When smoked i will give the final resukt of stars. Have weighted her after it dried and the result was 78g. So i will add 300 as wet weight (80 x 4=320)(I think 300 to 400 is a good range). A final smoke test will be made in 2 weeks or so, but she has a lot oft potence.

Week six few problems etc sorting out a few stunted baby’s

Plants are doing well. I'm going to top them soon. I tend to wait on topping to reduce stress, you never want to remove more that 1/3 of the plant( to each their own). I'll be FIMing the Sensi Star and Topping the Peyote. Pretty sure I stunted the White Widow from exposing it to the cold snap we had back in late February. I will top it and try and clone off the topping and see if that clone takes off. In my past I cloned plants outside in Mid June back in 2012 on 5 foot Agent Oranges, those clones caught up to the plants outside and eventually outperformed them, in less than two months. Never would have found that out if I didn't try. Happy growing everyone!

Day 50: Feeding day. As planned, I raised the dosage to 4ml per liter for the 3 base compound and gave each plant 1L. They drank it all. Call me weathercock but I removed the ScrOG netting since it was more of a handicap than anything that helps. I'll continue flattening everything with LST. Everything is looking good. Day 51: Another defoliation today, removing new leaves and smaller budsites. Nothing else to read. Day 52: Video update to show the flat canopy, budsites and how I LST the highest stems and redirected them to the center of the plant to expose the most budsites to the light. Day 53: Feeding Day, still 1L each. No burned tips or anything since last time so the dosage is alright. Day 54: I woke up to 2 of my girls praying to the light god. 50cm is the sweet spot. Day 55: Nothing to read. I don't have a microscope but I'm pretty sure to see the first trichomes :) Day 56: Nothing to read.

They're just now finishing up their big stretch. Had some clawing from nitrogen toxicity during the flip but a light flush has the new growth back to normal.

Day 7. Gave her some nutes yesterday. Responding well. Day 13. Will be ready for LST in probably 3 days.

They all look super happy, i think a couple of days more and i will change them to a bigger pot.
