Week 11, D71 Flower Day 41. She's super frosty. And very sticky and sticky. Smells of fresh cut strawberries and a light musky sweet earthy smell. Not a whole lot of bud, but what's there is tops by the looks of it. I'm hoping this is going to be the A grade bud I've been looking for. Plant has been thrown into soft flush. Been given terra powers finisher. 1ml/L 150 ppm and ph + adjusted to 6.7. Should of just let it grow normal. Lessons learnt. Even though she wasn't let grow o'natural I've seen what I can get, 1 main top cola and smaller colas on the side instead of 50-70cm small plants. Hopefully I'll get 50-70cm nodes with a big ass frosty cola on my next run, and then I'll be able to say for sure, that topping isn't the way to go with autos. As I've topped every single 1 I've grown and the tallest plant I could get was 90cm. Either it's the topping or not grown to its peak performance. HARVEST DAY. She's frosty. I've seen more frosty SG but I'm happy with this with how I crippled her growth. But in stunning her height I do think I've made for some A grade Bud up top. There is some airy bud at the very end. Now they are a bit bigger , this is the start of week 2 , now day 19 in real time from germination. I would appreciate any help to maximise the yield. I feed around 500-600 ppm. How much should the drain be ? I have to plants struggling, one had 500 run off , should I give nutes or flush them more ?

Moved from 2 daily waters in week one to 1 watering per day. Jan 1, 2020/Day 11: Amended top soil with 8 tablespoons of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 3 tbsp of Gaia Green 2-8-4 slow release nutrients. Dec 31-Jan 2: Removed first true leaves and another leaf. Leaves had slight damage to them, after my dog had a couple of nibbles. Jan 3, 2020 at 10pm: Turned bloom light off. Jan 4, 2020 at 11:40pm: Turned bloom light on. Back to veg and bloom.

(Day 65) - From this point on the plants will be getting nothing but PH'd water and a weekly dose of Real Growers "Recharge". I know that this practice is controversial and that there have been studies that show no appreciable benefit of doing so however, I am at the very least saving on very expensive nutes and reducing the overall amount of nutes being consumed. I expect that Ghost Toof and Mephisto's Wedding will likely take 85 days to finish fully and a 20 day flush might seem extreme but these plants have been given an excess of nutes for a long time before I adjusted their feeding schedule. I believe this will make for a better product once dried and cured. We shall find out.

End of week 7, no issues to report. She’s shown no deficiencies throughout, hopefully that continues. There is definitely a smell coming from the tent, but the strawberry banana is the over powering smell I’m getting, so it’s hard to tell how much odour she’s giving off. She has randomly grown one very large branch, in a matter of days the one branch has become the tallest in the tent, being an inch taller than s/b. The buds are starting to join, how much of an harvest I will get I genuinely have no clue. I’ve never grown autos, and she’s been so small throughout. This entire grow has been a learning curve, and I started with that mindset. I’ve had a few lessons, but I’m still ready to grow more autos once these ladies have finished. Grow Diary — Week 30: Durban Poison Outdoor Grow Journal • Eastern Colorado • October 2026 Week 30 Update, day 209— Patience for the Final Harvest The Durban Poison plants have reached Week 30, and I'm taking a patient approach with their final harvest. Unlike the other two plants, which I harvested earlier, I'm intentionally letting these Durban Poison plants go longer in hopes of achieving a more relaxing, indica-like feel from the finished flower. Durban Poison is traditionally known for its uplifting, energetic, sativa-dominant effects. My goal with this later harvest is to see whether allowing the flowers to mature further changes the character of the experience. This season has also been a learning experience. The buds have turned out airier than I wanted, with less aroma and resin development than I'd hoped for. Those results will help guide my plans for next season, particularly my focus on improving root-zone oxygenation, drainage, and overall growing-medium structure. What I'm watching this week: * Flower maturity: Observing the flowers closely as they approach their final harvest. * Trichomes: Looking at resin glands for changes in clarity, cloudiness, and amber coloration. * Aroma and resin: Noting any further development before harvest. * Weather: Keeping a close eye on Eastern Colorado's cooler autumn temperatures and frost risk. Harvest strategy: These Durban Poison plants are being harvested later than the other two plants to explore whether additional maturity produces a more relaxing effect. One important note for the journal: a later harvest may change the balance of cannabinoids and the subjective effects, but it does not reliably turn a sativa-dominant cultivar into an indica-like one. I'll treat the final experience as something to evaluate rather than a guaranteed result. Week 30 takeaway: This is the final patience test of the season. I'm giving the Durban Poison plants additional time, watching their maturity and the weather, and documenting the results so I can make better decisions for next year's grow.

Day 56 - She grew 8cm taller this week. Lots and lots of flower sites forming 😍 Day 56 - Tent configuration changed: 4x more CREE CXB3590's have been added and 4x blurple LED things removed. Lights now consist of 8x CXB3590's & 1x 1000W HID with flower bulb.

Esta es mi primer planta que cosechó con éxito, y estoy muy feliz con mi resultado final 😄 obtuve una muy buena cantidad de flores premium con alrededor de 15% de thc (desde mi punto de vista claro 😅) Tuve algunos problemas durante el cultivo, principalmente que deje que se estirara mucho, debi hacerle LST a la punta principal para que no siguiera aumentando la altura y tener más flores del mismo tamaño, las flores más bajas quedaron chicas y les faltó madurar un poco, también tuve problemas de sobrefertilizacion aun a pesar de que seguí las instituciones de los fertilizantes y de sus indicaciones que me dieron los de servicio al cliente, incluso ya teniendo en cuenta eso siempre use la menos de la dosis de la base ya hasta que crecieron más le fui aumentando, igual creo que es muy cierto lo que dicen de que “menos es más” a la próxima empezaré usando muy pocos nutrientes, aparte creo que si hubiera usado unos leds más potentes, las plantas hubieran aprovechado más los nutrientes, pero igual me sirvió de experiencia, pienso cultivar de nuevo esta genética y sacarle más provecho. The "Rain, Regrets & Resilience" Grow Log – CW 34 (August 21, 2026) 🌧️? Main Stage: Flower Tent (Week 6 / Day 42) 🎪✨ Genetics & Reifestatus: High Society and Zupernova are rounding third base in Week 6. The frost is getting downright aggressive—trichomes are looking like a fresh layer of morning snow, and those pistils are turning a nice, crisp orange-brown. Most trichomes are milky, with just a few clear ones holding out. Canopy & The Great Flush: Thanks to an accidental "extreme flush" courtesy of a moody irrigation controller, the substrate is stripped clean of salts (soil EC sitting at a squeaky 0.09 – 0.10 mS/cm). The upper fan leaves are showing that glorious autumn fade as the plants eat their own reserves. From Week 7 onward, it’s pure, pH-adjusted water all the way to the finish line! Climate vs. The Weather: Summer decided to rain on my parade—literally. High outdoor humidity means running everything on max gets me a 64% RH peak in the tent, though it normally drops to a comfortable 52% on better days.
