Week 1 of veg. In the books and we have a stable of very healthy and incredibly vigorous plants on the grow here. Even the runty one (there’s always one) has shown some signs of strong growth and we may not end up culling her from the mix at all. Over the last couple days, growth has exploded with no signs of slowing down - even after their transplant to the bigger pots👍. They’re doing everything they’re supposed to and showing that F1 vigour at every step. So far, so good and we really couldn’t ask for a better start to this run. We incorporated a very mild solution of our primary nute this week - Druid Berkana. This stuff is a one part system designed for the whole cycle and its proven to be one of the best all-around nute brands we’ve tried to date. Some light foliar spraying with liquid karma continues to mid week and then they’re all on their own👌. Expecting big things from this run and if we get lucky with continued robust growth - might be able to take clones after the third week of veg and flip🤞🤞🤞. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. I was not able to dedicate the full time I needed to make this happen today, so I decided I would give it one more day. One thing I am noticing is the color of the leaves. I've always wanted to grow a strain that has purple in it, and it looks like this plant turned super purple. I couldn't tell because of the lights. 9/24/23 - Day 115 - I'm 2hrs away from chopping. With the Leaf box, you have to stay on your timeline, No rushing it, and no waiting. Always right on time. I started the grow at 3 pm 115 days ago so from 3 pm - 3 pm is a full 24/hrs. I'll update after 3 p.m. I already have my tripod, tools, cleaning materials, etc., up and ready. We will drain the water, ill then remove the roots and clean out the tub. Then, I'll start to remove the branches one at a time. Once they are removed, I will then get the hanging supports in place. Then I will hang them upside down and hope there is enough room. :) I've noticed I have a lot of views on this grow. One thing I feel I should do a better job of (based on all the messages I received) is documenting the process that I follow throughout the grow. So I'll start my next grow in November. I'll document it with better "this is how I do this in Leaf" type details. 2 hours and counting! See you at 3 PM! 9/24/23 - I started at 3 p.m. and finally finished around 9 p.m. Holy shit, am I tired...... I have a lot of pictures and videos to upload. I'll add some photos tonight with some videos to follow tomorrow. I don't know how much I have yet, I need to wait until I can jar them to weigh them. I was able to get all the buds off and hung. With a couple of bags of A/B stock (Snicklefritz) of leftovers that I didn't want to hang. In just the Snicklefritz, I had 219g of wet buds. Ill know the full dry amount in a couple of days. I was REALLY happy with the amount of buds. There were more than 75 branches of bud to hang/dry. Its the most weed I have grown ever. Now that the buds are all back in the box. The Leaf box will handle all of the drying process. It will maintain temperature as well as humidity. I now wait and check daily to check for dryness. I think one more day should work before I start putting them in jars. I already trimmed them. Its a prefrence on trimming before/after drying. Becuase I had so much I wanted to make sure there was enough air space. This is my first grow in this box so this will be floor, theres no where to go but up from here. Im hoping to finish out this journal in September with a final weight.

Day 53 I dont know how i skipped a whole week? But it happens Plants are looking a little rough, i flushed 2-3 times with just greatwhite and water. Its weird because they got yellow so fast but the tips still look clawed im some spots so im scared to go back to full feed. Slowly added 1ml bioheaven and alga mic then 2ml/l bioheaven and alga mic. Tryingnto get back up to normal feeding

It's been a good week for the girls they're stretching into flower real nice. Plant height is 14 to 20 inches. I just got the dripper setup going at the end of the week and will be fussing with it till I'm happy. I will be watching the ph and ppm's in the res to make sure they're on point and topping off when needed. Thanks for looking😊

05/25/22 changed nutrient water PH 6.11 TDS 932. Planning on doing a small defoliation, plant has alot of leaves. Removed LST. 05/26/22 PH 6.19 TDS 906 05/27/22 PH 6.15 TDS 780 05/28/22 PH 6.09 TDS 900 found a couple leaves with spots. Calcium deficiency? Checked PH was fine, checked PH pen, was not fine 😢, recalibrate to proper and recheck PH. running at PH 5.67. Added PH-up and flushed. Hey everyone! Week 10 is here! (or 5th of flower) 😁 Both of my girls look like they are really close to being ready! (or they are already ready!) 😍 and I could chop them right now but I want to wait a bit more so buds can get a little bigger. This is because I forgot flower is shorter in autos and I delayed the doses a bit too much 😞. I hope this week's full dosage will help my babies to get her buds a little bigger 🙏 and next time I'll be more aware of this as I completely missed it. My goal is 70%/30% amber trichomes and I believe I still have some time for that! Besides what I mentioned earlier, this strain is amazing. They've responded quite well for all the defoliation I've done to them which is no small feat on an auto! 💪 Anyway, that's all for now. See you all really soon in my next update! ----- WEEK 9 ----- ----- Day 57 ----- Easy day of watching. Just 1 pic today so far. not much reason to go downstairs to take a pic yet. Glookies is turning Purple on sugar and fan leaves now. Harvest is very soon. I'd wager within 7 days now just going to depend on the High I get off tester nugs. ***Update*** I destroyed the trellis and took em out for some pics and vids. Trichs = Tropicana is ready Tuesday, Wedding Cake probably Friday or within that weekend. ----- Day 58 ----- Last couple days. Fed about 30ml of Cal/Mag and 30ml of Molasses. Wanted to just keep the photosynthesis process and the plant in general alive for reveg. Was getting a bit too yellow for my liking. Harvest soon. ----- Day 59 ----- Harvested Tropicanna Glookies today Deleted this week by accident trying to make it a harvest week, so remade it. Will add harvest week once plants are dry and tester has been smoked to give proper info Put some more photos in. Basically the tent is 4 feet wide and the ruler is 12 inches long from bottom of duct tape Really loving the colors of this plant. ------ Day 60 ----- Fed only the Wedding Cake - 5-10ml of Calimagic and 20ml of molasses (NO Liter level marked or PPM or PH, i could cut today its done but im just maturing the trichs) Tropicanna Glookies is a friggin BEAUTIFUL strain. Moved the Wedding Cake in the tent so largest nugs are furthest away from light and dropped light from 1000w to 600w to save electricity Chop on Wedding Cake happens at mostly amber trichs. Prob 5-6 days max for that i'll know when I check trichs tonight and update with photo. ----- Day 61 ----- Wedding Cake is about 5% amber... so prob 6 days or so. Slow day today. ----- Day 62 ----- Feeding is today, going to just use some CaliMagic and Molasses again. Trichs aren't golden yet, so not chop time ... 8-9 weeks is what it is supposed to take, but it's got at least another 5-8+ days until 30-40% amber trichs for Indica couch-lock effect to shine in the Wedding Cake. Tropicanna could still be going right now, but I did not want more than 5-10% amber gold trichs to prevent a couch-lock effect. This has worked very well. On day 64 I will post a smoke report and full harvest/trim details as Saturday/Sunday is trimming. Will have dry weight results of Tropicanna (per plant, and as a whole). Tropicanna being sent to lab for full analysis will post results when they arrive (Usually 2-3 weeks after sending sample via mail) ------ Day 63 ------ Nothing to talk about today, slow day. almost done. *Update* 1 pic, i think it explains everything.

Bruce Banner #3 fast is growing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She recieved a solution change today. Some light defoliation. Plus i increased the light strength. Did a medium stress training on 10/15 last few days of week 5 lowering main cola from 17” to 8”. Also dropped mid colas to 8” leveling canopy. 10/17 made some further adjustments as tops and fans flipped upright. Last adjustment 10/18 removed a handful of fans to open all bud sites. Noticing a bit of yellowing watered with 700 tds dr earth bloom. runoff at 6.5 ph down to 1100 tds from last measure of 1400+. 10/18 Added another dose of dr bloom runoff moved to 1240 tds 6.5 ph. Painting Happy trees hopefully. 🙂 10/19 pm let run off settle. tested at 1350 tds 6.82 ph 10/24 finished off the week looking good. nute deficiency in check.

So we started feeding them. just some organic growth by BAC and some Calmag. Mostly around the sides of the pots to encourage the roots and start the Microlife overall. We have used nice lukewarm water and added some sugar sirop to activate all the wee beasties. The growth last week was phenomenal although one is going faster than the other. For this reason I changed them around, should climate on that spot have anything to do with that. Now we are looking at other XL runts diaries, to learn from the best performers and copycat their methods to maximize yields with this setup. We will decide if we will just LST them or give them a top... Have to be quick tho, these ladies will flower soon... Was another good week of growth. After getting transplanted, the girl got topped. She took a few days to fully recover. Whether that be from topping, transplanting or most likely both, we are on track again. Fastbuds seeds Gorilla zkittles auto Only using spring water for first week and spraying with foop mist. Going to use foop nutrients with Humboldts secret cal/mag and nectar for the gods ph up and down! Planted right into substrate. I’m using Mother Earth coco coir/perlite mix with hydroton at bottom of pot

Going slow i believe because I chocked the seed with peat moss. I needed to put vermiculite, rookie mistake. I’ll do better next round though!

6/22 Some pictures didn't upload but that's probably a good thing. As long as the video went up its good. I need to take less pictures. I'm glad I watered the plants in the back with a premixed gallon last night as we didnt get nearly the rain I thought we would. It's small showers throughout the day. The plants are getting enormous. A couple have revegged. Mostly the 10th planet. The others aren't anywhere near as impacted. Boy are some of these stalks thick. I chose to keep a couple plants that could be grown naturally without topping or fimming. I like to see the structure of the tree bit with humidity like this 98%rh it's easy to get botrytis. That's why it's good sometimes to have multiple bid sites so your proverbial eggs aren't all in one basket. But you do end up with a massive cola. I think that mk ultra with the big fan leavescis just going to be one giant bud. That's what it's looking like. Oh and today is the summer solstice. Longest day of the year. 6/23 WATERED EVERYTHING. USED FIVE AND A HALF GALLONS. EVERYTHING GOT AT LEAST A HALF GALLON. Despite the rain we got and the bags still having some heft I decided to water. It's 80 at 9am. It's supposed to he in the upper 90's today and coukd break 100° tomorrow. I hate that the grow bags are black. That's way to hot for the plants. I should find some empty soil bags and wrap the black fabric for a couple days. A sunscreen might help but I doubt much. We'll see how it goes.
