Grow diary 11 stage 5 Days 41-50 During the week she had some training and I removed the damaged leaves. The whole grow has suffered from me not getting the watering schedule sorted. She has been in flower for about a week now, this one has stretched more then some of the other strains. Think this one will bounce back.

This has been one hell of an experience. I respect outdoor growers a lot more after growing this beast. Everyday was a battle once I got home from work. I would go through each cola to remove any bugs I saw. Very happy with the minimal damage I got but next time around I have something in store for you guys. It has been a lot of work trimming this but it’s all done and I got a fair share of everything. I have made an ounce of kief so far, some canna salve, a pound of canna butter and still have lots left will probably make some wax and oil with @farmerbrett since he got a monster yield as well.0

FLOWERING First week of flowering. The first flowering phenomena are visible in the tops of the plants.😜 -------------------------------- GROWTH The plants are still growing rapidly. To keep the size of the plants somewhat at the same height, I use the following techniques: 😷 1. Removal of the side branches (Defoliation) -Small plants: I remove almost all side branches. In this way the small plants do not have to spend energy in the growth of side branches. -Large Plants: I don't remove anything. The plants will put energy into the growth of side branches, so the plants will not grow too fast in height. -Other plants: I remove the side branches in proportion to the size of the plants. In the course of the following days, I gradually remove all low side branches! 2. Tying the branches (Low Stress Training) -The smallest plants grow straight upwards. -The largest plants are tempered in their growth, after I have tied them to the plant sticks with the help of plastic plant binders. On DAY 5 the plants vary in length between 23 and 41 cm -------------------------------- AIR HUMIDITY 😨 When the lights are on, it gets nice and warm in the growing room. To keep the humidity at the desired level, I have two 7.5 liter humidifiers working almost continuously. In less than 24 hours I have to refill them. As long as the plants do not have real buds, I like high humidity so the plants to keep a low VPD. -------------------------------- WATER and NUTRITION 😱 Due to the high humidity, I don't have to give that much water. Every 2-3 days I give 1.25 liters of water per pot. I add 3 tablets of Easy Grow Booster to 10 liters of water. I divide this mixture between the 8 pots. This week I gave 2 x water. !!! The WATERING VOLUME PER PLANT PER 24H above, is in fact PER POT (4 POTS) !!!

Almost at harvest. This is the last week of feeding then on to flush. I have it an extra week as I said before was not really satisfied with the overall performance of drip hydro. Buds seem to small and not dense as other nutrients I’ve used. I will definitely run drip hydro again see if I can get better results. The real test will be at harvest after weighing. Okay so I came up with this incredible method of training that I call "root lining".I figured this out years ago in outdoor season when a deer bulldozed through my med crop and knocked a sweet lady over, that started it all. The plant was completely parallel to the ground with roots growing out of the nodes where contact was made with the ground at the stock. Long story short she ended up being a 14 footer with 6 foot whale dicks! That gave me this little idea that's been non stop producing top quality fat resinous buds. This method increases nutrient uptake and makes a huge difference in quality and size. I essentially main line, really low to the ground, until the stock makes full contact with the ground. I then gently rub the downside of the stock with the back of a butter knife to speed things up and break down the chlorophyll layer. Then I add remo roots gel (see all videos). I then add a sprinkle of coco on top just to barely cover the stock (dont add to thick of a layer as this might "choke" and rot the stock) and mist that spot 2-3 times a day. 3 days later and boom! She'll be pumping out roots and go into full beast mode. Give it a try and you'll never go back!

The problem encountered during the growth : - Water (at the beginning) too little pumps that didn’t propagate the water equally so I went for a bigger industrial pump that pumps equally in the whole tent. 
 - RC : Some problems with the humidity at the beginning but got sorted out when I got the de humidifier
 - Babies almost died mid-grow, came in with the ultimate save of the day, one day later and it was over. 
 - Had a problem with the container that held the water as water was empty when I’d get back at the end of the week (during flowering mode) so I went with a 120L container which works just fine. 
 - Didn’t flush properly because I was in a rush

Hey growers, welcome back to the Pineapple Upside Down grow journal — week 17 of veg. The plant keeps showing solid, consistent growth week after week. Her structure is getting stronger, and the canopy’s really starting to fill out nicely. Leaves are broad, green, and vibrant — a sign that she’s fully balanced and comfortable in her environment. Nutrient uptake looks perfect; the roots are clearly doing their job. I decided to raise the EC slightly, moving up to 1.8, since she’s been drinking more and showing signs of higher demand. pH remains stable, and the overall system is clean, well oxygenated, and running smoothly. For now, there’s no sign of deficiencies or stress. Everything’s running exactly as planned. I’m still unsure whether I’ll top her before moving to flower. That decision will depend on the final height and how much space she takes once she’s ready to transition into the flowering box. At this point, I prefer to let her develop naturally, focusing on strength and branch structure rather than manipulation. This phase is all about preparing her for a smooth transition into bloom, with maximum vigor and balanced nutrition. So for now, patience and observation. Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

The week was partly sunny and partly rainy and our plants had to be canopied on the balcony nearly every day. Rare sunny hours. Humidity is mostly ok, but I‘m checking now very regular if the plant need to be harvested. The flowers are covered in trichomes, she produces again and again pistills, the larger fan leaves loose a bit their color. No amber but blue trichomes. Pure rainwater in the morning and in the evening. Flushing first time with a good drainage. She smells very intense, like a mandarin juice in February: sweet, aromatic with a hazy undertone. Diese Woche war für die Pflanzen eine große Belastung, da sie in den Keller umgezogen sind. In der Wohnung wurde es einfach zu warm. Die Box hat einen Zuluftschlauch bekommen, sodass immer Frischluft von außen kommt. Die Abluft wird auch nach außen abgeführt. Der Keller wird zusätzlich mit einem Amazon Badezimmerlüfter belüftet. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit konnte somit im Durchschnitt auf 60 Prozent gesenkt werden. Bei Regen hatte ich auch schon Höchstwerte von 82 Prozent in der Box. Dazu habe ich einen zusätzlichen Handylüfter in der Box installiert, der 40 Watt hat und für gute Belüftung sorgt. Zusätzlich baue ich mir nächste Woche ein Belüftungssystem mit KG-Rohren. Ich nehme zwei Stück und installiere sie an der Zuluft der Box. Dann werden sie am Rand der Box platziert und Löcher rein gebohrt, um die Pflanzen von unten zu belüften. Die Rohre kommen auf die ganze Fläche von 1,5 Metern. Was den Dünger betrifft, kann ich nur sagen, ich bin sehr zufrieden. Die Buds werden langsam echt fett. Die Pflanzen weisen keine Mängel auf, bis auf Calzium-Magnesium, das zusätzlich über das Gießwasser eingebracht wird. Apropos Gießwasser: Ich habe mir Tropfer und ein 100-l-Autotop-Flexi-Tank bestellt. Dazu ausführlicher Bericht nächste Woche, so wie zu der ab und zu Luft. Die Lampen laufen mittlerweile auf 100 Prozent. Die Titan sind mittlerweile im Schnitt 75 cm groß, so wie die Cosmos. Diese Pflanze ist sehr durstig und bekommt mehr Wasser als die anderen und ist im Umfang deutlich größer als die Titan und Epsilon. Die Epsilon sind ca. 55 cm im Durchschnitt, haben aber die dicksten Buds. Wichtigste Punkte: - Pflanzen in den Keller umgezogen wegen zu hoher Temperaturen in der Wohnung - Belüftungssystem installiert (Zuluft, Abluft, Badlüfter, zusätzlicher Lüfter in der Box) - Luftfeuchtigkeit im Durchschnitt auf 60% gesenkt - Neues Belüftungssystem mit KG-Rohren geplant - Dünger zufriedenstellend, Buds werden größer - Calzium-Magnesium-Mangel, wird über Gießwasser ausgeglichen - Neue Bewässerung (Tropfer, Flexi-Tank) bestellt - Lampen auf 100% - Titan und Cosmos ca. 75 cm, Cosmos durstiger - Epsilon ca. 55 cm, dickste Buds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!es fehlen noch Bilder Nachtrag kommt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 12w1d (85d) - Any day now! Started using Fish Sh!t to start the process of flushing her out. I read the journal article and, really, no one has a clue if flushing is as beneficial or not. Just do whatever…why not?
