Week 8 Flower – Roller Coaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) The Final Act of a Beautiful Journey Here we are, Week 8 of flower, and the Roller Coaster Haze girls are at their absolute peak. Massive, elegant, and shining with frost — these plants are true works of living art. The colas are huge, dense, and heavy, coated in trichomes that glisten under the lights. The aroma is intense, that unmistakable hay-sweet haze scent filling the room the moment you approach them. It’s been an incredible journey from seed to this point — full of learning, adjustments, and evolution — and the girls are showing their gratitude with a breathtaking display. ⸻ Light Defoliation & Canopy Health This week, we performed a light defoliation, focusing mainly on yellowing and fading fan leaves. At this stage, the goal isn’t to push growth, but to maintain airflow and prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to bud rot or other late-stage issues. By selectively removing what the plant no longer needs, we’re allowing more light to penetrate the canopy and helping the buds finish strong and clean. The fading is beautiful — a sign that the plants are naturally consuming their reserves as they approach the end of their cycle. ⸻ Aroma, Density & Structure Each branch tells a story of energy and balance. The colas are dense and resin-packed, sticky to the touch, with pistils slowly darkening and curling inward. The aroma has deepened, becoming more earthy and hazy, with a sweet undertone that hints at the potency within. These are true haze beauties — towering, expressive, and powerful. Every part of the plant speaks of the care, patience, and intention behind this grow. ⸻ Feeding & Environment We have now completely stopped nutrient feeding. This week’s watering is plain, clean water only, measured at: • EC: 0.3 • pH: 6.8 – 7.2 The goal is to gently flush out any remaining salts and allow the plants to finish on what remains in the super soil. This natural fade encourages better flavor and cleaner results after harvest. Environmental conditions remain steady despite the high outdoor temperatures. With careful management through TrolMaster and Spider Farmer controls, we’re keeping: • Temperature: around 28°C • Humidity: 60–65% • VPD: approximately 1.3 Everything stays balanced and stable to allow the final ripening stage to unfold smoothly. ⸻ Light Adjustments – Simulating the End of the Season To mimic the natural end of the season, we’ve begun gradually lowering the white light intensity, while pushing the red, far-red, and UV spectrums to 100%. This spectrum shift signals to the plants that the cycle is ending, stimulating final ripening, color development, and resin production. The reds encourage energy transfer in the deeper parts of the canopy, while UV light helps enhance secondary metabolite production — the oils, terpenes, and resins that give Roller Coaster Haze her unique flavor and strength. ⸻ Reflections & Recap From seed to this stage, this run has been all about precision, patience, and experimentation. The Roller Coaster Haze responded beautifully to the Aptus + Plagron blend, the controlled environment, and the small adjustments we made each week. The natural fade is now in full display — leaves turning golden and soft while the buds continue to swell and frost over. She is doing great Strong smell of hard candy right now, and changing colors purples, pinks and red. Harvest coming fast. Happy Grows!!!😀😀😀

02/26 start of week 8 last week I harvested a branch off each got to taste em now #4 and #1 are omg good after the other 2 are ok but nothing special seeds on all of em mature seeds to harvesting fresh frozen 200 grams each plant on Saturday. Waiting one more week after that to chop and hang the rest

05/07 500ml of water each pot, PH 6.3, nutrients like schedule 05/08-- You can see a picture who show the differences among the flowers. No one is like the others. Same genetics, same food, same growbox... #1 has the biggest flowers, looks like very similar to the #3 #2 has the most covered in trichomes flowers, looks really frosty and snowy! #3 has the smallest flowers but remember, this plant is an experiment, I've topped at 3rd node and folded all the branches down continuing to top them, so it grew more slowly, underwent a lot of stress and flowering started later. For me was a success, let's see how it will end. I'm a beginner and my skill grows everyday with my plants. 05/09 500ml of water each pot, PH 6.3 with 4ml bio-bloom + 4ml top-max + 2ml overdrive + 1ml b52 + 1ml nirvana 05/10-- In the last 2 days, all the flowers being FAAAAAAAT, now #2 has the biggest, heavyest and most dense buds, totally covered in snow, this strain it's impressive. Now I'm curious to see how they grows in next days!!!! 05/11-- 05/12 500ml of water each pot, PH 6.4 with 4ml bio-bloom + 4ml top-max + 2ml overdrive + 1ml b52 + 1ml nirvana 05/13 -- This is last day ofweek 12, tomorrow startthe last day of life for these plants. I will start flush and in next 7-10 days I willchop down all my lemon's plant.

Week 14, day 99, the second week of flowering has started, and it shows on the plant. It looks like Cookies Gelato #1 has started flowering before #2 and #2 started before #3. Look at the photos from above, I cannot wait to see when flowers will be enormous and lots of them!! Of course there is no weed smell yet but the plants have a wonderful smell of mint and lime. I'm also still trying to LST the plants even if they are mature, just to get a bit more light. Approximately two more months and I'll be ready to harvest, I think the yield will be terrific. 28 days later....worm poo and coffee grounds not made much difference to colour of leaves, although all are growing nicely...trying some spirulina powder next to see if that helps

Meine Pflanze wachsen nun seit 2 Wochen nicht mehr. Bleiben bei 77 cm stehen. Die Buds werden kompakter und der Geruch wird intensiver. Die Parameter im Zelt sind gut und stabil. Eine Pflanze bekommt gelbliche Blätter. Es ist Sweet Candy. Alle anderen sind noch schön grün. Leider durch das Licht der NDL nicht so gut zu sehen. Habe mit einem Mikroskop versucht den Reifegrad der Blüten zu sehen aber es wackelt alles und ich kann kaum was erkennen. Es ist ein LED Taschenmikroskop. Bekomme eher einen Knick in der Pupille. Hat jemand einen Tip oder Empfehlung für einen besseren Weg die Trichome zu begutachten. Je näher die Ernte ansteht desto ungeduldiger werde ich. Gestartet bin ich am 19.11.23. Es sind nun 18 Wochen um und ich bin zufrieden. Werde euch weiter auf dem laufenden halten und freue mich natürlich auch mal über einen Like oder Kommentar oder Tip über den Erntezeitpunkt. Bis dahin wünsche ich allen Growern eine gute Zeit.

Easy harvest, nice bud. I wish I didn't live in the North where I had to harvest sooner than I liked but I have some good stuff here. Looking forward to seeing how many jars I can fill.

Week 9 flower is coming to an end and the GG#4 still has about a week to go. She definitely looks done, but the heads are mostly cloudy, no amber, which is fine for me but I have a couple others that are finishing up so I’ll chop them all at the same time. A few nanners pooped near then end, think I had the light intensity to high and far along into flower and that’s also why the SD had foxtail like growth, just displayed the stress in different ways, but what the hell do I know lol 😂. Flowers seem hard and dense! Stripped most the large leaves that I could easily get at and just watering still letting the soil stay a bit on the dryer side, but consistent. Steadily lowering the humidity the best I can and manage, but it’s a bit difficult as I took down the humidifier to clean and get ready for harvest and got the dehumidifier going, but got another cold snap coming through and it’s dry outside and the house heat is running, don’t have a clean filter for the humidifier now, trying to get it right, right to the end, but Mother Nature is making my unnatural grow difficult lol. Week 15 Added another Biotab attached to a wire so in case the plant gets too much Nitrogen I can pull it out. 😎

Progress: starting to harvest. Update 10/9, we’re in the amber zone and will cut it all by 10/11. Marathon OG; 1 plant. Started harvesting earlier in the week, gradually taking down mature or at risk colas. The plant is probably going to be my best this year. Yield so far; I harvested 75%: fresh froze 2gal and cured 9oz. Theres another 4 oz still on the plant. 75% good to high quality dense and resin packed buds. This yield is for a 20 gallon plant. Lava cake: 4 plants (3-15 gallon 1-5 gallon). The main colas were mature with some amber. The sex pods were rotting on some so I took them down first to prevent any bud rot. Colas were mature (mostly mains) with hard dense buds. I took 30% and left about 70% still growing. I froze 4 gallons and harvested about a pound or so, hard to say yet as it’s just starting to dry. PPP is still waiting to be harvested. Funky looking purple bud stacks. Still some clear trichomes, mostly milky. Cant wait to try it. I ran some bubble hash: I ran some fresh frozen marathon OG as well as a pound from last years harvest. Bubble Hash Yield; < 2 0z 3g rosin quality A+quality (use a rig!) 10g high quality (dark rosin hash) A- quality 38g hash C quality (smoke in joints, like OG hash, but cleaner.) 10g low grade d/e quality (edibles or press for rosin) The fresh frozen produced the high quality rosin, but at a lower yield. The dried and cured pound from last years harvest produced so much ( an ounce and a half) it clogged up my micron bags. It’s good hash, but nothing like the fresh frozen rosin like hash. It’s gonna be a busy week of feeding, scoping, harvesting, drying, curing and trimming. The lava and the OG smoke great. The marathon og is so far my favorite to smoke. I have not tasted the purple push pops yet…..
