An overview of the five trees in my backyard

Finally, this week they got some light. Plants seemed to enjoy it and made a nice jump in bud size this week. And, there were some small caterpillars this week which wanted to eat the buds. Had to remove them, no big deal.

Day 17. - The ghetto CO2 generator did it's thing! They all exploded yesterday. I fed this morning @ full strength (1mL/L) Green Buzz Organig Grow Liquid, with about 1.5tsp molasses, and 1mL of Bokashi EM Juice (not bokashi tea, but the EM inoculant). After feeding I tied up and down. Ponytails for the top fan leaves, to expose the bottom nodes. And stakes to get the bottom nodes a bit more horizontal. Tangie is probably the prettiest out of the bunch. Before our first training, she was the most symmetrical and had shown the most growth in girth. The fan leaves were definitely shading the nodes underneath though, so I'm expecting some nice growth out of those tomorrow morning, after today's CO2 session. I bumped up the smell in my diary to 'strong'. It's not flower smell yet, but the veg smell is reeking. A friend noticed it as soon as I opened my vent-room door. But the good news is that she said she couldn't smell anything before then. When I open the tent, it's so strong that it's dank already. Again, not a flower smell...but I've never smelled a stronger veg-oder than these. Nobody could ever convince me that yeast is futile or too much work. The growth from day 16-->17 was simply mind-blowing. I'm expecting more tomorrow, after the heavy feeding today. Day 20. So...some news. Yesterday I got the new fan. Freaking sweet- screw that clip on fan nonsense. And today, I've been busy. Non-tent related... I put together a worm farm. So I'm hoping for castings in a few months. Fed the bokashi bucket. I've had a problem with fungus flies (look like gnats, but live in soil). Elsewhere, notice that this falls under 'Non-tent related' :D. So I removed the top inch of soil in that houseplant, sprayed a soapy water mixture and covered with 1.5 inches of sand. I'm including this here, because I was terrified that those dudes would somehow find their way to my tent (on the other side of the house). But I think I've seen the last of them. Tent related... I watered with a nice castings tea that brewed for about 24 hours. I hope I didn't f*ck up. I hit GG and Strawberry Cheesecake with it before I pH'ed it down. So they got dosed at around 7.6. I went back to them and hit them with a cup of pH'ed tea (6.5). Then the light cut off, and it was their bedtime. I had to wait for LST until after their nap. But while they were on black out, I got a package. Some dope-AF smartplugs. I can now control my LED, my exhaust, and my air mover from my phone. There's a built in digital timer where I can schedule on/off's. And it *measures* my usage! :D How cool is that?! Welcome to the space age. I also got a USB microscope, which is also badass. So look for pics from that in the coming weeks... Later when the light went back on (courtesy of my new smartplug!) I went back and did LST and pics for today. Day 21. New dehum. It's loud AF and uses a boatload of electricity. But let's see if they look a little better, once the humidity sinks. It's been at 85-90%. It's like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder how I keep from going under...

9/6 Plant #1 is throwing out heavy pistils. Plant #2 is stretching alot, she's also rrcovering from the magnesium lock out/ph issues, but she isn't throwing out pistils yet. 9/8 both plants are still stretching surprisingly and both plants FINALLY HAVE PISTILS! slightly excited/relieved. On a side note, our weather has been on the offensive recently. Weve had towns evacuated due to forest fires and public safety warnings about high winds. Came to see my plants completely toppled over on each other. Thankfully they were in pots and they looked fine. 9/10 still stretching and filling out, shooting thick pistils, cant wait to see her in a couple more weeks💚🤘

Week 6 is here

She's looking stunning on her 2nd week, very healthy, no issues at all, developing perfectly, let's see how she keeps developing, this is gonna be very funny! I'm gonma enjoy a lot training this ak 420 phenos from seedstockers!

Scrog netting is becoming a challenge, I am trying to fill bottom right corner but the plant continues to grow in all directions. The areas that are filled keep growing, I have stopped topping and keep tucking. I have put 4 clones in the corner because I do not want to wait anymore as my 2x4 will get too big during the flower cycle of this tent. Turned off light and will keep off for 48 hours, officially starting the flip into flower cycle. Plants look good, no issues so this is the perfect time for me. Wish me luck, I hear this strain loves to really stretch. Fed nutes at 50%, they just got off a lockout so taking it easy, they'll tell me when to up the feed.

Hello, things are going a lot better with these girls now, nice & healthy & growing well. Set them up in 15 ltr DWC pots upped the nutrients, a little lower than the manufacturers recommendations for week 4. They are around 10 cm tall & have 7 nodes, started LST training, simply bending over & tying down. Lower branches starting to grow up, noticed 1st pistils on pheno 2 yesterday, right on the last day of week 4, so far I've only seen 2 pistils on both branches on the same node. Would have liked them to be bigger before starting to flower, but hopefully they put on some good size during the Flowering stretch. Halfway through week 3. Both the girls have been transplanted to their final 5 gallon smart pot home. Soil medium is no longer a Light Warrior/Ocean Forest blend; it’s just Ocean Forest now. I don’t think that soil will be too hot at this point. Both plants are on their 4th node, I want to top at the 6th node so hopefully next week. Plant 2 has far more internode spacing even though both plants the same distance from the light. Plant 1 is developing 4 leaves so the fan isn’t symmetrical. Otherwise healthy. Leaves were droopier than usual today which might be transplant shock or I might have overwatered their new homes. Will add more to this week at the end. Love feedback!

Starting to keep a close eye on the Trichomes. Still clear some cloudy. Stopped feeding, Starting to flush. It’s starting to smell amazing in here.

The plant experienced a noticeable stretch last week, and the branches are now quite close to the LEDs. While the buds aren't at risk of burning, I decided to supercrop the tallest branches to prevent them from blocking light to the lower ones. Additionally, I removed a lot of leaves to ensure adequate airflow and reduce the risk of bud rot in the coming weeks. To further enhance airflow, I installed an extra fan at the back of the Minigrow. The installation was straightforward: using a cable adapter, I connected both the existing fan and the new one to the fan controller. Harvest done, plant is drying. 116 days from seed: 51 days veg + 65 days flora.

Update week 15: I have been flushing them for a week now. I will let them go an additional week and then I will probably harvest depending on the trichomes. They smell lovely, the DGx3BOG smells like gummy bears and the Tangie smells indeed very citrusy.

In week 8, she has been growing nicely. i think i will stay in Veg stage for 1 week further before turn to 12/12 because i want her to grow a bit more after she was stunned for a while. i also increase a ratio of nutrients for my plant and i think i will increase a bit more on next feed. if anyone has a recommendation feel free to let me know. Thank a million in advance 😁 in front of her i have a Blue Dream clone. i decided to do like a little bonsai in 1 gallon pot and turn to FLO with my Glookies 😍

We’re deep into Week 8, and Blue Banana Cream is stacking up beautifully. Trichomes are looking frosty, covering the buds in a thick, sticky layer—definitely a strain that’s going to shine post-cure. The aroma has intensified compared to earlier weeks, now pushing out a stronger creamy, fruity scent with a slight gas undertone. Every time I open the tent, it hits harder. The buds are swelling up nicely, transitioning from airy to more mid-compact density. Pistils are still mostly white, meaning it’s got a bit more time before it fully ripens. One thing I’ve noticed—the branches are starting to lean from the weight, so some light support might be needed to prevent them from bending too much in the final stretch. I’m keeping temps at 18-20°C and humidity around 55-60% to ensure a proper finish. With harvest around the corner, it’s just about watching those trichomes shift from clear to cloudy/amber and letting this one reach its peak.

Day 49 - Still giving the ladies just PH water with no nutrients trying to see if I can fix whatever is wrong with them😅 All in all the White Widow & Orange Sherbet plants I took individual pictures of are growing great & should have a pretty nice yield! Day 56. She has begun to swell. She has gotten a sweet skunky smell now. I may have had my Blurpie too close as the cola has started to foxtail. I kept the light at about 16 inches from the plant so I don't know if it is the combination of lights, or if she was gonna foxtail to begin with. Her branches are starting to sag, and I may have to stake a couple before it's through. I accidently cracked a branch when I was trying to pull two colas away from each other. I used surgical tape, and honey to repair it. The branch just pulled away from the stalk, and maybe separated a third of the way around the branch. She seems to have healed, and the branch hasn't shown any signs of trouble. If I had to guess, she may go 12 weeks, but she might be closer to 10. I got no idea yet... Happy farming!
