Hi, thank your for visiting my diary, more info on my setup, soil and situation in: Germination... So been doin the whole Sherlock thing with the magnifier and nope.... no trichomes amber yet.... My magnifier is just not strong enough and apparently my eyesight is bollocks or my arms are too short... On the images ( I also have onset parkinsons as it seems, thus I used a tripod and low and behold: a stillshot) the trichomes are visible. Now I have the problem that I have to go for a week in a week. Im not leaving all on (mainly no control over smell and some distrust in my own handywork compiling these lights) when Im gone. So these ladies have to hurry up now. The other problem is the cure... I have no way to monitor temps and RH when Im away so Im gonna have to find a sitter for my babies or just cut them preprime or they magically make amber overnight.... I hoped, since they were racing to the finish, that I would be in time.... So maybe we pack an extra tent for our vacation... My growtent... I have been flushing for two weeks, still the leaves and plants are vigorous and lively. Some yellowing pointy bits but too minimal.... Temsp outdoor have been higher but stable, temps in the tent never over 26.8 degrees. Humidity has been dropping last days which I hoped for. Anyone any experience with building a climate chamber for curing? Or any on the market that will do? Please check my Zambeza 3 seed give away by guessing my final result! As an update: I took some tiny larf of a couple of days ago and totally forgot about it. Today out of weed, I found the dried remains in the jar I put it in and left it. No temp, no cue, no rh anything. So I get it out of the jar to find it smelling like weed, not even hay or grass but pungeant stinky weed. I start to crumble and find it is sticky, solid, and crumbles to nice bits that crumble even further. I light up and an amazing sweet and citrussy smell comes free, it is superstrong, although still more high obviously, and supertasty, without any cure. This promises even more for the rest of the bunch. This was some underside sad yellowish larf,not any density to it but smoked ten times better than my local, round the corner dispensary weed that I smoked later that day. Even Sunshine (my partner) was amazed with difference in smell. Update 24th july: I finally saw ambers yesterday and the fact me running out of time, made me decide to start the 48 hours of darkness. Tomorrow she/they will be cut down for drying and curing. I have a humidifier and can manage temps to be a bit colder to prolong first dry as long as possible. Coming friday I have to decide what to do: keep them hanging for a full week, whilst Im gone. Or start the jarcure if drying (since its very hot and dry here lately, this might be the case) is faster. I would have loved to give these ladies another week maybe two... They were still so healthy. But I cant control anything when Im not here and this could potentially destroy my harvest or get very smelly, this leaves me no choice for now... The trichs are now at +/- 15% to 20% rest is all milky with just some single clears on less developped lower buds... I allread know she is nice tasting and potent enough. As soon as we are at the final weight I will post the harvest and we choose the winner! Another update: closer inspection revealed that the plants a/ had still lot of underside larf and b/ lots of clear trichomes. As we are near the finish I rather give them another week of light. So Ive bent all the big buds downwards to protect them from the light. I might not be able to correct the cure, but its a shame not give them another week if I can. Some will be horrified with the damage but my reasoning is simple, the big buds are done or almost, the larf still can develop into bigger buds so a late harvest supercrop and lowered the lights to 35 cm for the final push. In the harvest video we will show you the way we made the comfrey tea and where I keep it, our permagarden, introduce myself and maybe even Sunshine, the light of my life, introduces herself. 6 weeks in soil, everything is doing great, genetics are good and did respond well to topping ! Gonna clean them a bit ( after taking the pictures), by plugging off the inner leaves and lollipopping the 2 lowest sides shoots . Watering with some BIO 8-2-2 , plants will break down this source of Nitrogen quicker than breaking down the one available in BIO Soil. As these ladies are eating like monsters I don’t want them to run out of anything if possible. Another last week before putting everyone under a trellis and start scrogging. I will be able to start to see which lowers shoots are going to reach to top ! ( I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control 🐞 )

Aquí las fotos de esta nueva semana de vegetación para ambas plantas, cumpliendo así la white widow 23 dias de plantada y la zinfandel 16. La fotos corresponden al 21, 24 y 27 de abril. Por ahora no hay nada más que agregar. Ya que esta semana solo agregué algo de sustrato en ambas y el riego fue de agua reposada con una bomba dando oxígeno por 24hr y un ph de 6,1 a 6,5. Lo que no sé es si realizar alguna tipo de poda más adelante o si mejor las dejo crecer como son, ya que no sé mucho. Existe el temor de dañarlas o estresarlas demasiado. Lo pensaré, también recibo cualquier consejo u observación con ellas!

I cleaned the roots this week with lots of tap water. The PPM drain was at 1100 and I lowered it to 550. Then I gave 1L of fertilized water at 850PPM to each plant. Then let it dry for 5 days Green house Mineral fertilizers: : 0.5g booster PK+,0.5g Hybrids and 0.3g Calcium per liter Lamp power of the week: 400w -------------------------------------------------------- Grow Room: trafika urban hydroponics 100x100x200 cm Lamp: kit trafika urban hydroponics ballast & lampe HPS : 250-600w Extractor & carbon filter : Mars hydro 6 inch 402 CFM ( power 3/10 ) Soil : 20% perlite, 20% vermiculite, 60% universal soil Average daily temperature & humidity : 24-30°C 40-60% Average nigth temperature & humidity : 17-22°C & 50-70 %

Opened them both up and trimmed up some lower branches and the likes. Defoliation aswell on some leaves. Flower stretch under way ! Still having issues with one not absorbing what she needs was advised to up the ph in autopot res to 5.8 6.0 ph so have done so to see if that helps ! All in all looking good

Another stress free week. I am a bit worried i have had no issues so far so i expect some horrid stuff to come and get me soon!! She just keeps taking food and getting fatter.. She is long and the branches are getting to the point of falling over so i will come up with a plan for that.. Worse problems to have though right??😂 The smell is quite complex. First its old skool skunky but then it had a bitter smell. I know bitter is a tste but thats what it is.. Nothing else to say i feed her twice a day lights on and just before lights off. I am keeping an eye and i may start to give her a drink in the middle of the day. I noticed her top coco is a bit drier then it has been. Thanks for looking, Stay safe Grow well.

It grows very fast, I will use the 12/12 mode from tomorrow;) you can see a few spots on the leaves, but the problem has been eliminated. great home in AMS. I'm new, so I don't know a lot yet, but I have a very good teacher who, if I have any questions, very quickly advises me on how to deal with her:) thank you very much to my teacher :)

I gave the Blue Cheese a trim on 5th december and gave her four days of darkness, the chop was performed on december 9th I took a lot of photographs and videos commemorating these events for you to enjoy :) I think she came out quite decent especially considering that she had some monster/deformed leaves till the 4th week of veg. also looking back I should have moved her to the bigger place in that time...she would be far more symmetrical ;) It was a joy to work with Mars Hydro and their equipment in this grow. Did some defol and a little Lollipoping this week to get light to the lower budsites. The Ethos cookies Rbx are my favorite's so far this run, they stacking up like crazy👌 The Rosso Corsa, so far so good not stacking as nice as the Cookies, but she a verry sweet smelling stinky one, can't wait on this one Gorilla Breath, this is the one i did the most devol/lollipoping on, this little girl was bushy AF. ( excuse my French ) gonna keep a close eye on her this week deu to her Gorilla line-up ( Herm sensitive ) i might have went a bit to hard on her, time will tell. Rock on Growmies 💚
