not much has happened this week. there is still some sun per day. however, the temperatures drop to 4-8 degrees at night. these are not exactly the best conditions. maybe this late outdoor experiment was not a good idea after all. however, they have not died yet.

8/21/24. Going into week 8 flower Are we there yet? Haha.. no. Day 57 out of stated 70. 13 days? Hmmm I don’t know. I thought she might go longer than that, BUT now I think it’ll be less. I suspect another week and she’ll be ready. Appearance wise, I’d say she’s pretty much there.. trichomes say other wise. Still quite a bit of clear with the start of milky coming. It’s all gonna be about ripening now. Water/fed her today. She’s yellowing heavily or I would have already stopped. I’m guessing this is just her type of fade. No real colors going other than yellow. Maybe that’s because she’s a banana 😄 I increased the light to 80% a couple days ago just to be a pushy bitch. I’ll decrease it way down to probably about 40-50% in a few days because I like to do that when they’re finishing up to help bring temperature down and I think it makes them wrap it up. These pictures don’t do justice to the fatness of these buds. They’re obese and not ashamed. Body positivity with this girl. Somehow some of the buds have suicided. Aka jumped out of their spot in the trellis and tried to hit the floor. I can’t do anything about it really. Can’t reach them and can’t be bothered. Smell? Skunky rotten fruity…idk. And coffee? You can smell it through the place and maybe at the neighbors LOL Wellp. Waiting game now. See yuh next time ✌️

Défoliation

All I can say about this strain… is I loved how high I felt when smoking this strain. More than that I will be lying… now that I have opened myself to this community, I am going to me conscious about what I smoke and how I grow… and I think investing in a test kit will be ideal, so I can cpmpare my potency with the breeder’s research.

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. Heu guys ! Plants start to pre flower, everything is going good, few nutriments fails but overall it's pretty much ok Pretty sad about the Zake and the Shimo in the front that pretty much had no stretch 😓 Cant complain since im working from seeds ! See ya next week ✌️

Day: ~25C T. Night: ~21.5C Humidity: ~57% T.leaf: 24.5C Week progress. Two slow plants are still lagging behind, the video shows what a variety of phenotypes, it is very difficult to grow. I plan to harvest in a week, afraid that if I'll do not cut then buds will start to turn yellow. I probably won't keep the two lagging plants longer because the box is needed for drying. The smell is similar to sweet strawberries.

I am busy all weekend, so I wanted to make sure I got something out of the grow (just in case). I might use a good portion of this harvest for rosin and for when friends ask :) That is if the second plant lasts until next week. I cant ask my wife to keep an eye on water, roots, or bud.

She looks fantastic,she's in a 7l pot and she has the same soil as her sister gorilla girl and cream mandarine and darkr devils all planted the same day and she's the biggest one on a 7 l pot. This is pretty strange,anyways, she looks super happy, full 100% organic grown well see howbshe ends up performing

Week from 10/07 to 16/07 Going smoothly, plant already feeling great in the new pot. I used sticks to make a star cross frame at the base so I can pull branches in every direction Now it’s a matter of letting everything grow and adjust the branches until around the 20th of August when it will start flowering

This week's been real fun seeing alot of purple coming in slow leaves are turning very purple I ditched the blurple light... it was good for supplemental lighting bit it started burning the tops a bit ... however I have 2 of the exact same plants strains are same ingrow both exact same and one is a green pheno looks scraggly and the left one is the ourple phenonwhich looks absolutely stunning they are like day and night crazy cause I have done nothing different with each and the ammount of issues from right to left plant have been drastic . Lots of purple on the tip calyxes' ! And the bottom of the nugs are very sticky smelly and very very fruity I cannot wait to chose this lady, trim cure going to be so much fun...

At 91 days from seed, 36 days into bloom, she is drinking about 2 liters (1/2 gal) per day. It has been a little warm in the tent which has caused her to drink more. Since she is drinking more than normal, the tips of her leaves look a little burnt. I think my nutrient levels would be fine if she weren't drinking so much. It's only slight burn though so she'll be fine. She still smells great but is actually one of the less pungent plants I've grown. So it’s a nice smell but its not overpowering. It looks like its going to be a bountiful harvest. I upped the terpinator added to the minimum recommended dose suggested by the manufacturer. Not much to do but wait and watch her put on weight.

Day 12 of organic grow and all is well. Seemed to have dialed in the conditions and able to keep good air movement, CO2 levels, and consistent temperatures/humidity with the ThruWall Closet Fan (Model TW108 ), and the Holmes Twin Exhaust/Intake Fan (Model HAWF-2041). Humidity is maintained with a Lovoit 6L Ultrasonic Programmable Cool Mist Humidifier (Model# LV600HH). Added a SCROG screen (just a cargo net) and bought the Sample Pack of organic nutrients from Nectar for the Gods (just pay shipping and they will send you the sample nutrients - check out the website). People say their line of nutrients make the buds smell and taste like no other! I have always been an organic Earth Juice nutrient guy, so I am going to experiment with combining the two. Lights are on 24/0 and she has tight internodal spacing with good vertical growth. Room that closet is in is beginning to smell skunky at times, and like diesel at other times.
