Week 9 6/2-6/8 Now at the start of week 9, my outside gals, except L. Cake are now in flower. One of the last top view photos 6/2 of Opium shows flowers forming. She is over 6 feet tall. From the side view photo of Opium last week to the photos take 6/3 show a growth spurt compared to the zinnia in the flower stand behind Opium. This is the first week I’ve had to add nutrients to her feeding. Some lower leaves were yellow. Since I’ve been using amended soil, this indicates Opium is a heavy feeder. Nutrients in soils are used up and she is starting to use her own food sources. Our temperatures are nearing mid 80's with high humidity. The plants are requiring at least a gallon of water a day. 5 gallons well water TPS1 60ml used 1 gallon per plant =12ml Cal-Mag 25ml used 1 gallon per plant =5ml Recharge 5ml used 1 gallon per plant =1ml Signal 1.25ml PPM 1414, PH 6.93, Temp 82.5 Note I do not have to PH adjust my well water. However, our city water comes out of the tap at 8.2 ph so I must PH down using the hose or my inside grows, ============ Germination April 6. Vegetation Week 1 water only Week 2 water only Week 3 added recharge and TPS1 increased ppm to 570. Week 4 continues with recharge and TPS1. I added Fox Cal mag increasing ppm to 685 - 805. Week 5 TPS1 9ml/gal Recharge 5 ml/gal Fox Cal-mag 5 ml/gal Week 6 5/12-19 Moved outside in 5 gal air pots receiving rain and well water. Week 7 5/19-25 Since I was in Colorado last week, I feel very behind on my diaries. Opium received only rainwater for the last 2 weeks. She is 38 inches and has huge leaves. Some have 13 fronds on one leaf. She is taller than the cage support by 2 feet. I removed the peony cage support because Opium phenotype is tall and lanky. Sativa structure all the way. 📓 Cultivation Diary: The 12/12 Flip & Transition Week 📅 June 5, 2026 (Veg Day 17) Irrigation/Reservoir: Prepared a full 100L reservoir refresh. Nutrients: Kept the feeding aggressive with a double dose of vegetative nutrition (x2 Nutrient formula) to ensure the root zones and plant tissues are fully stocked with elements before the transition. Canopy Observation:the canopy is thick, uniform, and fully occupying the table space. The trellis net is officially filled out, and the lower branches are strong and rigid. 📅 June 6, 2026 (Day 1 of Flower / Bloom Week 1) The Flip: Officially switched the timers to a 12/12 photoperiod (Lights ON at 6:00 PM / Lights OFF at 6:00 AM). Schedule: First irrigation shot triggers exactly 1 hour after lights on (7:00 PM), followed by a shot every 1.5 hours. Volume: Configured the drip stakes to run for 1 minute per shot, delivering 5 shots total per day. This provides roughly 450ml per plant per day, creating excellent target dry-backs overnight to force vigorous root searching. 📅 June 11, 2026 (Day 6 of Flower / Bloom Week 1) Irrigation/Reservoir: Bumped reservoir capacity up to 110–120L to keep up with increased transpiration as the plants begin their post-flip stretch. Nutrient Recipe (TargetingpH 6.0 EC 2.5 Water: 110–120L Athena Cleanse: 120ml Silica: 220ml (Essential for stem strength during the stretch) CalMag: 10ml Athena Bloom: 600ml (Adjusting base to target 1.2–1.3 EC from Bloom component) Athena Core: 400ml Irrigation Adjustments: Increased the shot duration slightly to 1 minute and 15 seconds to match the accelerating growth pace. The early flowering stretch has officially begun. The tops are noticeably pushing past the trellis net layers, and the node spacing remains tight and stacked. Leaf color is an excellent dark green with healthy, bright yellow-green shoots driving upward at the growth tips. No signs of stress or stalling from the schedule shift.

Today is eight thirty two and this girl is happy happy 😊.. as you can see, I opened her up some with some LST and we're gonna give her a week or 2 to recover and then get her into flower.. Zamnesia Seeds this plant is doing amazing. Flowering looking good still seeing the rusty brown spotting on upper fan leaves and drying out. I included pic of what it looks like. Since I was only using tap water and tiger bloom 3-4 tsp per gallon I gave it a rest and then just used cal-mag 1 tsp per gallon through the next few waterings. Not sure why this sometimes happens. Most things I read point to either deficiency in calcium or magnesium, but I believe the tiger bloom have some of that in there already. I know the tap water has calcium. Maybe it was too much TB? I was being pretty aggressive with it at 4 tsp per gallon. Other than that I am not stressing over it. I have lowered dose of TB to 1 tsp per gallon every other watering. Temps are low 60s and humidity is in the low 40% now. Only using the flower switch on my light considering the distance from my lights is about 10". Buds are developing nice though it seems.

Day 39 since Seed pop. The topping worked, gonna be challenge to have a balanced yield. Might have more blueberry cherry than black patronus as it's growing at a faster rate!

D-104 : Last week, I noticed a problem related to the calcium OR to the Ph. I didn't know if it was a deficiency or an excess. So I tried to just wetered girls with the right Ph and A bit more of CalMag 0.8 > 1.2/L. We'll see this week if It was the good choice. fingers corssed !

Bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana clandestinos, y también, a los que tienen la fortuna de no serlo!🖐️👨‍🌾 esta temporada cultivando leyendas sativas... todo por la causa! Tres semanas desde el paso a floración a sido el tiempo que ha tardado en llegar ¡La Gran Hembra Colombiana!... a jugar! 💃😈 Creo que definitivamente la planta ha dejado de estirarse, para ello he continuado esta semana con la tortura estrambótica a modo de cableado de los ápices superiores rebeldes... yo también te quiero! 🧡 Ahora innumerables brotes florales adornan toda la planta, un horizonte estrellado de brillantes y vibrantes flores buscando su lugar en el cielo! La planta está muy ramificada, son ramas finas y delicadas, las hojas también, no hay ninguna rama que destaque sobre otras, el aspecto general me recuerda a un cañaveral, espero para las próximas semanas endurecimiento y fortalecimiento de todas las ramas, estas se deben preparar para soportar todo el peso de los cogollos que pienso cultivar... a muerte! El consumo de agua es alto, riego profundamente cada 4 días con componentes variados, las últimas semanas he intentado fortalecer y dar energía a la planta añadiendo Bio Estimulantes a las mezclas de riego, todo para preparar a esta leyenda sativa para el cambio a Bio fertilizantes de floración y más concentración de nutrientes... todo por la causa! Como estamos en verano y hace mucho calor, mi agua de montaña que almaceno para riegos mantiene una temperatura ambiente de 25°C, yo prefiero bajarla hasta los 20°C, para ello mantengo agua en el frigorífico y la mezclo a la hora de regar, el agua a 20°C transporta más oxígeno al sustrato y le refresca... a quien no le gusta una ducha fría en verano? Hello Diary. We have reached the 9th week, 6 weeks of flowering and I think we are nearing the end. My estimate is another week until harvest. I look the situation with trichomes every day, most of them are milky, when I notice that some brown ones appear here and there, it is time to harvest. Along with Sherbet Queen on the “Farm” are two Mimosa Auto, which have grown huge, over 110cm so it’s pretty crowded in the grow-box. That's why it became quite difficult for me to take them out of the grow box so as not to damage them. The color of the leaves slightly takes on a lighter green color which slowly becomes yellowish, the flowers are nicely filled, they are big and heavy so I had to connect the plant a bit to the stick and fabric pot to stabilize it and prevent the branches from cracking. The temperature was high this week, around 30 degrees, and this is caused by the great heat outside which was above average this week. Humidity is a little above 50%, which is more than would be ideal, the cause is also heat, so the soil evaporates more and releases moisture. I have two fans that blow for 24 hours and thus prevent the potential occurrence of mold or similar problems. Ventilation also works at maximum power. Watering is still every two days, and more or less that’s all that happened this week, I’m patiently waiting for the harvest. Here is a brief overview of the week. 11/07/2021 - Day 57. Watering. I always prepare about 8 liters of water, p.H I adjusted to 6.4 and watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 50% humidity. 13/07/2021 - Day 59. Watering. Same procedure as two days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 31 degrees and 55% humidity. 15/07/2021 - Day 61. Watering. p.H - 6.2 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 53% humidity. 17/07/2021 - Day 63. Watering and photography. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 60% humidity. That’s it for this week, a little more and there will be a harvest, I can’t wait for next week. Until then, enjoy.

Shes looking beautiful and taking well to the outside. Shes has finally reached the top of my Inner cage so I toped the main stem. No compost tea this week. I live watching her seay in the wind!

Day 82 approximately one week give or take till harvest. Still not seeing much amber but I guess it’ll start soon. This is only my second ever grow so I’m still learning as I go. Buds are dense and sticky.

"Mens Dei" What can be made to expand, airy and loose, can also be made to contract, dense and tight. Trichomes do not discriminate, although we like to think of trichomes' primary purpose as being to get us high; they are there to provide photoprotection (sunscreen). Trichomes apply themselves based on area dimensions; the more area = the more trichomes in order to protect. Different from density: Trichomes, the resinous glands on plants, are often produced in response to stress, including high light intensity. This increased production can lead to denser trichome coverage on the plant, stress, stress, stress, stress is the signal. There is a certain beauty in watching the large water-filled buds once swollen to the brim slowly shrink during drying, as the surface areas contract, the trichomes just cluster up to form denser and denser coatings, already dense from high light intensities, UVB exposure, and IPS, and every other stressor I could tweak. Trichomes, the resinous glands on cannabis plants, are often produced in response to various forms of stress. These stresses can be environmental, like excess light(HIL) or UV-B radiation, temperature fluctuations, or drought, or mechanical, such as wind, pruning, or even the weight of the plant's own buds. The plant reacts to these stressors by increasing trichome production as a defensive mechanism to protect itself and its valuable compounds like THC and CBD. In essence, cannabis plants perceive stress as a threat and respond by producing more trichomes as a way to protect themselves and their valuable compounds. Several studies have shown this. Not so much a "master" grower as a master of stress. Psssst. Trichomes fill with "antioxidants," including THC. Ant"ox"idants, The production of antioxidants in plants is intricately linked to their oxidative apparatus. The plant has limited oxidative capacity/apparatus. During daytime photosynthesis, a large percentage of that oxidative capacity is tied up in protecting the plant. During the night, plants alter their metabolic pathways. This leads to a far more focused production of specific antioxidants, like THC. Plants also produce antioxidants during the day to scavenge ROS made from photosynthesis. The differential ROS production by blue and IR light can have significant biological consequences. For example, high levels of ROS induced by blue light can lead to cell damage and death, while lower levels of ROS produced by IR light may be involved in beneficial cellular signaling pathways. Long nights under the IR (very low ROS), the boost in cellular respiration, and the boost in energy production. In a perfect world, I'd give the plant a shock treatment of 60DLI in 4 hours and give her the other 20 hours to perform cellular respiration under IR. The stress of those 4 hours would be rigorous and full of stress abound, 1800-2000ppm CO2 is easy for a couple of hours during daylight, it's maintaining it that's hard, but 4 hours is very doable with nothing but a little extra "carbon sugar" in your medium every other night during the first 4 weeks of flower. In my opinion, you only need to jack CO2 for those first 4 weeks of flower to see maximal output, after that it's all about trichome preservation, everything else comes second. Without the temps to assist with metabolism, CO2 is reduced to normal levels along with temps 4-5th week of flower. Buds are primarily composed of water. Developing flower buds, like other plant tissues, require a significant amount of water for growth and turgor pressure, which helps maintain their structure and firmness. Turgor pressure in plant cells is primarily generated by osmosis, but transpiration plays a crucial role in maintaining it. The optimal internal leaf surface temperature for photosynthesis at 1800-2000ppm CO2 is likely in the upper range of 97°F, meaning ambient would need to sit at 102°F-ish or thereabout for full metabolic utilization. That's putting your transpirational pulling force x5 x6 maybe x7 of what it would be if she were cruising at 68F. "My buds won't fatten, what can I do!!" Crank it. If your purpose was to blow up a balloon as fast as you can, as much as you can, would you use 2x force or x5 Force to do so? Bad analogy, but you get the idea. Kiss. Optimize photosynthesis & VPD by day, cellular respiration by night. TECHNICALLY: "While transpiration and cellular respiration are both ongoing plant processes, they are not neatly separated into day and night. Both processes occur both day and night, though at different rates and with different emphasis. Transpiration, the release of water vapor from plant surfaces, is primarily driven by sunlight and photosynthesis during the day, but it also continues at a lower rate at night. Cellular respiration, which provides energy for the plant, occurs continuously, both day and night. " A leaf can perform cellular respiration and photosynthesis simultaneously. During daylight hours, plant cells utilize both processes: photosynthesis to produce glucose and oxygen, and cellular respiration to break down glucose and release energy for the cell's needs. The products of photosynthesis (glucose and oxygen) are used as reactants in cellular respiration, while the products of cellular respiration (carbon dioxide and water) can be used in photosynthesis. The limiting factor is the oxidative capacity; the less a leaf is utilizing photosynthesis, the less oxidative capacity it uses, and the more it can perform cellular respiration. Even if a leaf is not in an optimal photosynthetic position, it can still utilize respiration to its full capacity during daylight hours. Kinda too much info to explain when some asks if they should defoliate or not, yeah add calmag or some shit. BUT Only 10% ATP can be processed through photosynthesis and carbon capture. 90% of ATP is processed when the plant's oxidative capacity becomes available (NIGHTTIME). Cellular respiration relies on the process of oxidation to generate energy. Specifically, the final stage of cellular respiration, called oxidative phosphorylation, utilizes oxygen as the final electron acceptor to produce a substantial amount of ATP, the cell's primary energy currency. Factors such as oxygen concentration, glucose availability and temperature will all impact the amount of aerobic respiration an organism will perform. See you next grow, *twiddles thumbs*
