The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. Great growth and more LST The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. Adjusting the extraction fan Auto settings The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come.

Tangie'Matic coming along nicely. Nice size buds, smells really good, and good color overall. She's quite a bit smaller than my first Tangie'Matic. But I have a feeling this girl is going to taste better (fingers crossed).

Everything germinated i had actually 8 cookies, 1 Barney's farm Runtz muffin, 1 Humboldt seeds Gorilla Breath and the French Connection Rosso Corsa. Gave 1 cookies and the Barney's Runtz muffin away to a friend.

To get higher temperatures I placed the growbox near the radiator, dimmer still at 25%, boiled tap water also this week, this guaranteed me an ideal pp for the beginning, from now on I will use mountain water which will allow me to use less fertilizer.

BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. Ok this was my first grow and I made mistakes. -forgot to buffer coco - nutrient burn -started the manlining to early - probably worried to much about every stage these plants. -ended up with fungus gnats And probably appt more I can’t rmeber in the moment. But i learned so much from all of my mistakes and spent so much time researching and seeing in real time how these plants react and grow. I did do some experimentation just a normal top with one blue dream. I topped twice one another blue dream and did a 3 times topped on all the blue dreams and I see why you should at least top three times the eight main colas and spread out the plant I see some of the buds on the one I only topped once not matured at all because there was minimal light other buds were growing so fat it suffocated it basically. I could have probably defoliated and manliness better but ayy. Beginners wil make Mistakes and I’m happy with what came out of these girls. Not excited for trim hail but I am at the same time 😅😅

Hi everyone, well I got excited when i saw the fast buds outdoor competition, i just wrote them a message all like "what strain do you recommend?" and they wrote back every strain i didnt have so that s like green crack cali snow, some other ones, i'm kinda bummed but it's whatever plenty of fastbuds in the fridge so i try to get set up and literally on the day i want to start i get a hat and those strains in the mail so i was like damn thank god i send my address to people on growdiaries lol #safetyfirst My set up is pretty simple i'm using a 5 gal pot branded AZTech Genetics, seems it's non woven and fairly decent quality but what do i know ? 😅 anyway i'm sort of honing in my technique but i ran out of micro nutrients so idk what's gonna happen, let's see what i figure out on the way. that's later on, right now my plants got 15gs of trychoderma, myco and bacilusses mixed into the soil, planted one seed straight drop, didnt sprout, actuvated two more seeds in smart protein solution then planted one and it cracked the surface the same day, covered it and let it sit. Planted random companion plants with the weed this time, i think it's really exciting how you can see all the little sprout coming up at the same time. Let's see how this goes, last year i had spider mites and inchworms 🚀 Day 7 i've watered 1L 3 times this week with 1ml/L smart proteins each time, first watering and all the seeds sprouted, by the second watering i noticed the two other cali snows also popped, now i have three plants in one pot which i need to separate... does anyone want/need an extra seedling or two? hit me up before you drop by to pick them up if you want them ! see how all the companion plants and the cali snows are growing robustly? basically with the bowl on top their making their own atmosphere i'm guessing it hits the high 80s in RH inside there, 80RH 29°C .... when i watered them i intentionally left some on the glass bowl, the smart proteins have optical properties but i dont know what they are yet ha ! on to the next week, peace ! 🚀
