I made so many mistakes during this run I can't even believe we made it to this point. The flowers aren't great but they're aight considering. I tested some run off and ppm was 3000+. I was consistently hearing the condensate pumps go off which made me think I was getting run off not realizing it was from the dehumidifier. The pics were taken on Thursday and after 2 days of flushing they look better and have swelled up a little bit. I sprayed dr zymes for the thrips 3 days in a row to try and knock them out. I know spraying in flower is never great but the zymes evaporates and really had no noticeable negative effects on the buds (pistil burning or residue) and I havnt seen a thrip or any damage in a few days. I also got the full line of Marrone bio grandevo, venerate and regalia which ill incorporate into a weekly ipm starting next run. I'm gunna wash the buds at the end. Hopefully all the dumb shit I do this run I can learn from and improve. Day 49 I've dropped the base nutrients and have them on 8 grams per gal of full tilt with some aptus additives and enzymes. The multi strain makes it tricky as a few really need 70-80 days but at this point I just want to wrap it up asap. I'll hand feed the 3 or 4 plants that still need the base probly.

day 8 - i think i might have a small issue. i think the ph level of the coco is a bit high, my runoff water is about 6.8, i really want to get the run off down to under 6.5 ... the coco might be a little bit too salty because its new the kush plant is yellowing, which im assuming is from overwatering. im going to not water my plants today and see how they take it. i watered heavily last night to try and flush out some more of the salts / lower the ph of the coco. i ordered a new light last night, the HLG320 4000k. i am tired of having to adjust the hlg65 and hlg135 seperately, so i figured might as well go with a light thats the full length of my tent. eventually, ill throw in an hlg320 3000k, have both turned way down, so during flower the coverage is very even. also, im debating getting my light turned down on the seedlings right now. now its around 30-35k lux, but i might have it turned down into 25k lux range for the day. i day 10 - a little bit of tacoing on charlottes #1 and cheese #2, turned down the light intensity by about 10%

Responding well to the bloom nutrients. it is so wide and tall now. I will defoliate and LST this week. She is just exploding. I did some defoliation, removed lower buds and added more stakes to open her up. Her bud stacking is remarkable

Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Been a good week I have lowered nutes as on some of the plants the tips have gone a bright yellow type colour wasn’t sure wether this was because of my lights or nutes either way I have lowered nutes for the minute and will see how that goes , went with another trim during the week as some flowers have grown far beyond The others main aim was to free up light for the lower plants and aim for there bud sight it’s seemed to have worked so far as they have grew a little other than that everything else has been quite manageable 🤞🏾 Obviously missed a day which was watering day due to other responsibilities but hey it happens on the brighter side The jungle is still slowly coming along nicely happy growing 🤑

( IVE SWAPPED OUT RHIZ FOR REGENAROOT ) Will flower when have room lol Feed Started With Tap Water Left Overnight For Chlorine/Chlorides To Evaporate. Next Day. Starting EC of our water is 0.15. I added 1ML of Regenaroot Per Litre. Then Used Canna Terra Vega Until EC measured 0.7. I then used the mighty growth enhancer drop by drop until my EC measured 1.1 Finally i PH'd the mix to 6.2. Made sure the feed was of adequate temp and continued to feed.

This week we are seeing the girls starting to flower, mixed in a gaia green topdress and chopped it up into the sand, then adding another layer. The sand really does a number on the fungas gnats. Going to do some lollipopping and lots of defolation. Trying to pick and chose which colas to bring to the end. I cant wait to see what this looks like when its filled with bud. After I train tonight its going to be hands off completely besides watering.

Day late on the update, pics/vids were taken on time tho just been a crazy week of harvests and trimming and keeping up with these. I transplanted all of them into 1 gallon bags 4 days ago from today. I changed the fertilizer from organic to inorganic. It was seen that the plant was needed nitrogen, the plant was rather weak in growth, and the color of the leaves was yellow. When i had return to mineral fertilizers the plant immediately restored.

This week things are swelling quick great ! The purple is showing up more but still only trace amounts. The black has no signs of changing colour however I already know my pheno ain’t the one ☝️ . But the purple shows promise!! Slow at cloning and a higher mortality rate then the black amnesia haze. This one almost every single clone I made all root amazingly ! Highly recommend for its yields and ease in the grow room. You can really feed it high . Still unknown why the purp has curling leaves but from others grows I see it’s fairly common . I’m guessing it prefers a slightly more alkaline PH . I’ve been using citric acid to ph correct and every time I sway a little low like 6.4-6.2-5.9 the plants leaves curl slightly more. Most mixes are in the 6.8-6.5 range however.
