The plants really took off this last week, but we started to notice some other issues. The plants looked a little dark in color after the watering/CalMag, and some of the new growth looks a little droopy. Hoping they bounce back in the next couple days and the CalMag fixes any issues.

Since you’re all familiar with Wedding Cake feminised marijuana seeds, we’ve put a Break-up Cake in the oven at the Kannabia Seed Company – because things don’t always go well, and we sometimes need a friendly seed to lean on. Break-Up Cake has a base of Girl Scout Cookies, one of North America’s best-known strains, which is earthy with a very potent indica effect. And we top it off with a delicious Cherry Pie which, in addition to giving it an elegant dark attire, adds a silky, deeply sweet flavour of cherries and berries. Look no further – it’s the perfect cake. This seed will be celebrated for its ease of cultivation and abundant production. It’s one of the best investments you’ll make this year. But if it’s going to be memorable for one thing, it’s for its sweet complex flavour that’s full of contrasts. If we have to break up, let’s do it sweetly and amicably, right? How to: Break-Up Cake Break-Up Cake is an “all-terrain” marijuana seed, which will adapt to the place you allocate to it. An ode to independence, it’s a plant with only the most basic needs that knows how to grow by itself. It’s a pale branching plant with tremendous dark green leaves, purple tips, and an icing sugar coating of trichomes. Its immense buds are some of the stickiest ones we’ve found in our seed bank recently. Indoors, it needs 60 days of flowering to give no less than 600 grams per square metre. Use a Screen of Green method without hesitation, or plant it using hydroponics if you want to obtain the full benefit of its potency. Outdoors, it reaches two metres in height with a harvest of 800 grams per plant, which is reason enough to give it a go. Like a good break-up cake, this plant doesn’t need to live with a partner, and knows how to live well in a Guerrilla plot. Between 25th and 10th October is its moment. Taste and effect of Break-up Cake Very relaxing but not causing lethargy, it’s a good indica-dominant plant. Its effect is mellow (we’re too old for childish games). It calms the consumer but it also gives rise to creative moments. Head on up to the top floor, later to make your way, little by little, down to the kitchen later (where you might want to give in to temptation if you need to stimulate your hunger). The flavour is full of nuances. It will remind you of a vanilla sponge or cheese cake: you’ll notice a cherry topping, something sweet that you can’t quite distinguish, and an earthy undertone on a biscuit base… You’ve got to sample it to know it. _____________________________________________________________________ SETUP: 80x80x180 cm Zelsius 240W Full Spectrum LED IR UV dimmable DW240H-A6-HS Heatsink color red LED Chips: 512pcs SAMSUNG LM301H + 24pcs Osram 660nm + 8pcs Osram IR 730nm + 8pcs UV 385nm Color mix: 2700K + 4000K 2,8umol/J Driver HLG-240H-C2100B Coverage: veg 5x3ft / flower 4x2ft Product size: 628x205x68mm Green Buzz Nutrients Shouts go out to my sponsors @GreenBuzzNutrients, thanks so much for your support! 💚 💚 💚 If anyone would like to try their amazing organic products, use code GD42025 for generous 25% discount (for orders of minimum 75€) ✨ https://greenbuzznutrients.com/ Biobizz Lightmix custom exhaust fan 320/270cm³/h Carbon Active Granulate 240cm³/h tab water pH 8 - EC 0,25 with Calmag to 0,5 Advanced Hydroponics pH minus Grow + Bloom to pH 6.2 🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀🍪 🍒 🍰🍩 🎀

Flower coming along nicely, definitely looking at longer than the advertised 56-63 days but I'm hopeful of a strong harvest looking at them so far. Keeping it all crossed for that to continue!

****** Week 8 Vegetation - Sept 5 to 11/20 They were transplanted from solo cups into 1 gal pots on day 15, topped on day 37 and then into 5 gal fabric on day 50 (C472 into 3 gal two days later) C471 transplanted finally into her final home of a 5 gal pot on September 6. Mixed with roughly 20% Perlite and 80% Coco Coir. She has been the more aggressive grower so I gave her the 5 gal pot. Will put the slightly slower grower C472 into the 3 gal fabric pot. Hope this will balance out things with the size of the root mass in an equal amount of time. C472 not tranpsplanted until Sept 8, once I finally got a 3 gal fabric pot.......was sure that 5 gal looked like a 3 gal🤪🤪🤪 Anyway.....she spent and extra two days in the 1 gal pot👍 So they are finally done with transplants. Now its time to stay focussed on filling in the canopy with bud sites. Need to let these girls grow a little more vertically to keep up with the Gorilla Girls, which are growing so hard already💪👍 Suspect this might be an ongoing issue in this run.......the indica in this strain may keep her a fair bit shorter in height. The photo tent has basically been turned into the Sweet Seeds tent for the next couple of months😃😃 Once in flower will be cooling these girls off at night to bring out their potential colour changes in late bloom. They are growing leaves nice and large and plentiful. Node space is staying pretty tight still. Just need those branches to take off vertically so Silica will be introduced soon. Still working out a bit how I need the branches to bend around to fill in the canopy. Once I start increasing the silica as an additive on its own, its tougher to bend around her branches but she will certainly grow stronger. I want to put a SCROG in but I am actually a little concerned about SCROGing two potentially pretty different strains........lots of Sativa in Gorilla Girl and those phenos are pushing out more branch than leaf🙁 A little more detail..... Sept 5/20 - watering in the morning simply to get ready for transplanting in PM: - 500ml - CalMag, B52 @ 1.5ml - 385ppm and 5.7pH - transplanted with Mycorrhizae - watering in the PM after transplanting: - 1.5L - Velokelp, Vitathrive, Microbes @ 2ml - 110ppm and 5.2pH - missed the damn pH again but running with it. Sept 8/20 - 2L - CalMag @ 2ml/L, Vitathrive @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml/L - 775ppm and 5.8pH - C472 transplanted today. Really not looking for these girls to take off just yet so been keeping the feedings light. Noticing some possible issues forming though with light leaf colours and some dark areas in the roots. Time to bump up the feeding ppm and more ml’s to get more runoff water from the coco at feedings. CalMag might be a little light as well but start with more water. Been keeping it a little light and that is likely causing some of these issues. That wraps up this week and feel better about how the tent is looking now. The plan is to fill in for another week and then flip next weekend.......see how the week goes🤞

Straw-Lectric Lemonade-STRNG Seed W10 F1 01/11-17 These strawberry collection gals are taking off like rockets during this early stretch. Cadillac1 and S. Trop Cherry 2 have grown at least 15 inches this week. I cannot push them to the edge anymore. Pics show them pressed up against the light. What to do? My hubby suggested cutting them off-you should have seen the look I gave him. I decided to do more super cropping of the tallest branches. These girls were 56 and 57 inches from the soil to their tops. As tall as me but an additional 15inches due to the pot. I tried to bend the stem by about 10inches, so the tops are about the same as the other plants in the tent. Fingers crossed they slow down. Since the dots did not arrive before the transplant, I decided to use TPS1 and start during the first week of flower. That’s now. The mix for early bloom is as follows: TPS1 14ml/g Silica Gold 3ml/g I needed to add 3ml/g of Calmag to raise the pH after accidentally lowering it too much. 1/10 66.5F, 6.22 ph & 1023 ppm 1/14 70.3F, 6.42 ph & 1007 ppm Pics 1/11 !st flower week defoliation and lollipop for all the Strawberry collection. 1/16 More super cropping of Cadillac1 and 1st time Trop Cherry2. General observations: I usually use Air pots but these can be messy when water squirts out the side holes. I decided to use the 5Gal fabric pots AC Infinity provided when I got the tent. The fabric pots hold moisture longer than the air pots and since I have to water with at least a gallon, the humidity increases to 85%. This is way out of range for early bloom. Also, the ventilation fan increases to 10 which is very loud and only helps a small bit. I noticed that after defoliation the RH came down to the upper 60%. Not optimal but better. I should have defoliated in week 3 of veg to reduce the humidity in early flower. The only time my environment is optimal is when it’s close to the next watering day. Then it goes right back up after watering. It has been very cold here and the tent temperature barely gets above 73f. Increasing the tent temperature would help the VPD. When the plants were touching the lights, I held the lights at 80%. I just increased to 100%. 1/16 Strawberry Cadillac #1 56 before super crop 46”after #2 44“ Strawberry Trop Cherry #1 28” #2 57” before 47” after Straw-Lectric Lemonade #1 38” #2 45” Important dates 11/9 Germination 11/25 Transplant to 1.5 gal, 12/1 Topped, Pinned and removed 2 large center leaves 12/5 Repositioned pins and removed lowest fan leaves 12/16 Topped 4 tops on each plant except Cadillac1 (first topping) and put manuka honey on the cut. 12/24 Transplant to 5 gal 12/27 Defoliate all 12/28 Flip to 12/12 1/05 Supercrop Cadillac #1 at the joint where I topped her. 1/11 !st flower week defoliation and lollipop for all the Strawberry collection. 1/16 More super cropping of Cadillac1 and 1st time Trop Cherry2. Stay green, growers love 💚🌿 💫Natrona💫

***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** This week has been interesting, I was getting some weird runoff numbers in terms of EC/PPM and PH, so I decided to try and bring the PH up with a flush of high PH water into the medium. I did not have any PH up on hand so I used borax, PH of 9-10 plus it will help kill off any microbes in the soil that I believe is causing the PH swings. After doing this and getting the PH I wanted in the solution I released that the amount of B in the solution was to high and would cause more issues down the road, It was late in the day so I left the next flush to fix the excess B till tomorrow morning. Morning came and when I processed to flush I added in a bit of peroxide to the water and a dash of dish soap to break the waters surface tension so it flows through the pots more easily. This was going fine till it started to not drain out at all. I think it was foaming up in the medium and preventing a normal flow, plus on two of the pots I lost my perlite that sits on the top of the medium. I had to massage the pots "like when you transplant" to make then start draining again and then purchased a Yucca extract to help it flow through. Everything is back to normal. The pots are really root bound and should be transplanted but its mid flower and that's not going to be happening. I also don't know if I'd even have the space for it. I added in a b1 vitamin as well on recommendation of grow shop as apparently their other lineup I purchased did not have any. No idea if its working well only first week in the feeding. The Cytokelp is fun, but the one hormone in it is similar to a PGR but its not a real PGR. I am skeptical of it and not using it as foliar, just root watering. I also added in a bit of CaMg supplement that gave the plants a boost in N and Ca. The mg of this product was lesser then others I have seen about a 5:1 ratio of Ca to Mg. after the big flushes the runoff was hitting 120ppm so I gave it a good feed at 1.8EC Time will tell If i fucked it up royally by doing all this, this seedsman plant is still quite sensitive to cooler temps. My tents hitting 17c at night and it still is acting like its hitting 10c as autumn colours are popping off on them. Some of my other plants are also discoloured but not to the same extent as this one. All the plants are still stretching but it seems slow to me. Maybe it will continue going but it only put on about 10cm in the last week and a half. Feels slow. I may see more stretching in the next week upcoming and it just had a ruff start. Lights still running at 100% with V1 spectrum, everything seems to be working just fine, no light burn. Till next week. ***Sponsored Grow*** Official Website: https://medicgrow.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/medicgrowled Twitter: https://twitter.com/medicgrow Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/medicgrow420/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNmiY4F9z94u-8eGj7R1CSQ Growdiaries: https://growdiaries.com/grower/medicgrowled https://growdiaries.com/grow-lights/medic-grow

Defoliated the younger branches and feed her some fish fertiliser. I await the pre flower mode so I can transplant to their new home. Strangely these girls are always light green I fed her some more fertiliser for confirmation during the week.

17 January 2021 The seed has germinated and the plant has risen. 19 January 2021 The seedling had struggle with germination because the seed’s shell was stuck on the sapling causing the first pair of leaves to grow stuck in the seed shell and had to remove the shell by hand. This has put a minor delay on the plant’s growth.
