Ciao a tutti, il giorno 65 ho sostituito tutta la soluzione dei vasi. Dopo aver tirato via tutto ho aggiunto 20 litri d'acqua di rubinetto con 2ml/l di flora kleen (GHE). Non ho aggiustato il pH (che nella mia zona è superiore al 7.5 per l'acqua di rubinetto) tanto non ci sono sali disciolti da assorbire. Tra pochi giorni ci sarà la raccolta, sarà un'impresa pulire tutte quelle cime... PS le foto scattate il giorno 66 sono state fatte con un altro telefono

The journey begins

Day 91 she’s huge and starting to bulk up. Her green color has returned once I got the ph issue under control I wasn’t sure if it was going to return. She was very sensitive to the water quality. I’m excited to Watch her bulk up she’s a slow finisher for sure. But you can’t rush perfection.

Day 7---Defoliated good bit from all plants removing afflicted leaves, looks to be typical cal/mag deficiency with ph issues. Topped off 2 big plants with ro water, added 6ml micro 6ml bloom and 3ml gro to 2 big plant ppm 900, 2 smaller plant ppm over 1000. Day 6--- Topped off all plants with RO water, added 1ml ph up to plants 1,3,4 to adjust ph. PH of plant 2 more basic than the other 3. Day 5--- Topped off biggest plant 2, added back 10ml cal mag, ppm about 600-700 will check again soon and add back some nutes. Added 1ml ph up to plants 1 and 3 , didn't adjust other two yet. Day 4--- Added 3ml cal mag to all plants as it could be lacking. Added 5ml soul grow and 5ml soul bloom to plant 1 to see something, ppm up to about 1020. Some light defoliation of afflicted leaves on all plants. Day 3---Added 5ml micro and 5ml bloom to plant 2 now at 750ppm. All plants are above 700ppm but below 900ppm. All plants showing signs of something on the leaves but IDK what, manganese? Added 3ml cal mag to biggest plants. Topped off water of 2 biggest plants. Day 2---Checked PH, more minor defoliation of afflicted leaves and to uncover a few more bud sites. Day 1--- Added about 1.5ml ph up since the waters keep going a bit acidic. Some leaves still show some issues but didn't wanna defoliate too much. IDK if it is from PH or over/under feeding plants. Added 2ml cal mag. These plants are continuing to grow and flower, 2 biggest drinking lots of water and making the water more acidic. Topped of water in buckets with RO water. Added 3ml cal mag to all plants Added 5ml micro,bloom, 3ml gro to 2 smallest plants. Added 10ml micro, bloom, 3ml gro to 2 bigger plants. Added .75ml ph up to all plant water to help the PH stay in range. TDS on all are around 800 Light defoliation of all plants to uncover bud sites and remove afflicted leaves.

Nitrogen is low and I caught it late. Cant correct it much now due to it being in its second week of flower. They are fairly happy otherwise. We will see how this goes.

A more difficult week. I've been battling the water consumption on two of the girls. I ordered and hooked up the Blumats auto watering system. I followed the instructions to a T but they don't work on those settings for this type of plant. They must be recommending for succulents cause the girls dried out right away with the settings. So I've been slowing dialing it in the get the proper amount to release. This is the other girl consuming a lot. But with the auto watering system she's holding her own. The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

Last week! Today 06.11.2020 - i will cut them on saturday and will post the results as soon as possible. Look how hard i burned one plan :( BUT! the buds are not affected, leaves only. Next time i will take more time to look to get better results. I hope you enjoyed the diarie. Keep watching. I update weight etc before and after drying and curing. This is the most beatifull part :) because after this comes the smoke...

Nothing much to say about my grow this week. Gave he a flush with pH 6.0 to kick off the week. Day 86..... Gave her a feeding today a whole gallon. Ive been doing some research and maybe I'm feeding my plants a little too much nutrients. So from now on I will be feeding a lot less and the next day I will feed just plain water. So my plants will get nutrients every 3 or 4 days. I also bought a few advanced nutrients supplements which I'll be experimenting with. Day 87... Gave her a feeding today of advanced nutrients Nirvana and voodoo juice and pH to 5.9. Day 88.....gave her a 2l feeding today of nutrients. Also defoliated some of her big fan leaves.

Chopped on Day 70 (September 6th, 2020) 9/6/20: Hung her to dry after taking off most of her fan leaves. I decided to hang the whole plant this time around to see if it helps my dry quality. Will update with pictures soon. 9/12/20: Trimmed her up today after feeling that the nugs were crispy and dry. First couple days of dry we were experiencing a bit of a heat wave and high humidity levels (fluctuating from 60-75%). During the final days of drying we had rain and then it cooled off and dried out lowering my rh in the tent to around 50%. That crisped the nugs right up in 2 days and I decided it was time to pull her out and trim her up. The nugs were so incredibly sticky and smelled of chem. They are really dense despite their look especially the main cola nugs. Still smelling a bit like hay but I'm confident that the curing process will take care of that. I am curing with Boveda 58% rh packs in each jar and a hydrometer as well. Not going to test a nug until at least a week or two of curing or until I run out of Sour Crack lol. Will update with a smoke report. 9/28/20: So it's been just over 2 weeks of curing so far. When I first put the nugs in the jar, I was worried they were a bit too dry/crispy for what I was hoping for, but after 2 weeks of curing the nugs aren't as crackly sounding in my hands. I cured with Boveda 58% rh packs and mason jars as seen in the pictures. **SMOKE REPORT** 9/28/20 - 2 weeks of curing: The smell of this strain is a really unique one, or maybe the pheno that I got is. It smells fruity for sure but it has this gas smell to it that almost smells chemical but in a good way. I marked down tropical above because the combo of pungent fruit almost brings out a sweet cocktail aroma. After really thinking about it, I've never smelled weed with a scent quite like this one! The smoke was smooth in my freshly cleaned bong and I'm decently high. I feel pretty tired but I'm ready to do something like game or make music. I don't feel hungry (yet) but my throat is begging for a drink. I'm happy that I have now smoked my own home grown weed twice!

Smells really good . Overall a great plant to grow. The buds are nice and dense as well . Can’t wait until it’s dried and cured . Hoping to go more than 7 days drying time .

Day 92 Day 30 Bloom 42ish days remaining. Pour some SUGAR on meeeee.........wowzers the sugar is really starting to cake the sugar leaves now. Got tons of healthy bud sites forming and the smell is just delightful. Did another decent defoliation to keep all the buds site in the light. Keeps it nice and clean with great air flow. Speaking of air flow I added an oscillating fan to keep the air moving under the canopy better. There is a problem forming that I'll need to take care of this week. Another purchase?? 😡 lol De-humidifier......the humidity is very slow starting to raise. I started with 2 humidifiers on full, then 1 on full, then 1 on min for a bit then no humidifier and now its starting to raise with no humidifier so I'm gonna need to deal with this asap as it will become a very big issue in the future if I let my girls get moldy, but no chance I would let that happen! so i'll be on the search for a decent used one this week or purchase a new one unless I learn something new here, which I probably will. A question this week too. about Harvest. mayb 2 questions. So I hear alot of tricks regarding harvest. 24-48-72 hours of darkness before harvest then cut them in the "dark" meaning dont let the bloom lights come on again before harvest. different flush times and so on. what works best for you guys?! I'm thinking 7 day flush since thats why my nute sched says and it hasnt led me astray yet. I'm considering doing a tiny mid bloom flush reccomended by a friend, i like the idea to give just pure water for 1-2 days and kind of give the plants a break from the massive ppms i'm putting them through although I might skip this step if not needed either. 2nd part of the question, if the flower time for this strain is 70-75 days, I realize I should harvest when most of the tricones are milky and some clear with very little to no amber ones. but if I flush for a week before harvest, how do I know when to start the flush, how long is my harvest time frame for maximized potency. I'm guessing with experience I'll be able to know my girls and say yup harvest is x days out but for this one not too sure. 40ish days til harvest is bittersweet, feels so long but part of me loves it, how big can/will these buds get with another 42 days!
