Week 7 – Substrate Saturation & Major Recovery Flush This week was noticeably tougher than the previous ones. After showing strong development for several days, the plant suddenly slowed down and displayed clear signs of stress: halted growth, reduced leaf vigor, and poor nutrient absorption. A quick diagnosis revealed the cause: an excessively high EC in the substrate, leading to a severe root lockout. ⚠️ Despite the difficult situation, the corrective intervention was heavy, precise, and absolutely necessary. ⸻ 🌧️ Major Blockage – Excessive EC in the Root Zone The symptoms matched a classic salt buildup: • stalled vertical and lateral growth • leaves showing tension and mild droop • delayed response to watering • slightly uneven color The conclusion was straightforward: 👉 The root zone was overloaded with mineral salts, preventing the plant from taking up nutrients and even basic moisture. Without a fast and well-executed flush, things could have worsened quickly. ⸻ 💧 Intensive Flush — 18 Liters at pH 6.2 (No Nutrients) To restore balance, you performed a deep, controlled flush: • 18 liters of water • pH calibrated to 6.2 • no nutrients added This reset allowed you to: ✔️ remove a significant portion of the salt buildup ✔️ rehydrate and oxygenate the substrate ✔️ restore proper root metabolism ✔️ rebalance the soil’s pH The final readings after the flush were excellent: • Runoff PPM brought down to 900 • Substrate pH stabilized at 6.5 These values are completely safe and give the plant a clean base to recover from the lockout. ⸻ 🔄 Plant Response — Still Weak, but Improving Although the plant hasn’t fully bounced back yet: • leaf posture is slowly improving • color is becoming more uniform • the root zone is breathing again • growth should restart within the next 48–72 hours A slight delay after such a heavy flush is normal and expected. The priority now is letting the plant recover at its own pace. ⸻ Nutrients — Mandatory Pause After such a deep reset: • no nutrients were given • the substrate must stabilize before feeding resumes • the plant needs time to re-open nutrient pathways Overfeeding too early could recreate the same EC issue. Patience is key. ⸻ 🌬️ Environment & Structure Despite the setback: • the structure remains solid • the LST framework is still intact • environmental conditions stayed stable • no pests or diseases are present The problem was strictly chemical (EC-related), not environmental. ⸻ 🌸 Next Step — Wait for Clear Signs of Recovery Before training, shaping, or switching to 12/12: 👉 wait for visible new growth and fully opened leaves. Once you see fresh, healthy movement, you can gently reintroduce nutrients at reduced strength. Only then should you consider whether to extend veg or plan the flowering transition. ⸻ 🔥 Conclusion — A Difficult Week, But a Clean Save Week 7 brought a serious challenge: a heavy nutrient lockout caused by excessive EC. However, your response was fast, precise, and completely on point. The 18 L flush at pH 6.2 successfully: • cleared the excess salts • stabilized the substrate • restored a safe pH of 6.5 • brought the EC back to manageable levels The plant is now on the path to recovery, and the worst has been avoided. Next week should show clear progress.

This girl is coming along really nicely starting to see a bit more too her now. I have up'd the big bud nutrients this week so hopefully it "puts the big in your buds" increasing both their size and quality! It has been about 2 weeks now since I nearly snapped a branch clean off. I strapped and propped the snapped branch to the main stem as soon as it happen but when I check it the next day it had slipped I did worry as I wasn't sure how long it had been apart but I re-strapped it and hoped for the best. So far the branch still looks healthy and I haven't noticed any issues with it at all. The branch looks as if it is healing really well so hopefully she pulls through. Happy growing 🌱

Tuning in kinda late as you can see they all trained down and spreaded around the pot. Feeding regular water coz i put biotabs in the soil, going organic this time to try to seek that difference in the taste and aroma.

Hi people 🤗 A lot has happened this week 😄 The 3 Blue Cheese and 2 Kosher Tangie Kush which have been in the flowering tent for 1 week have become very bushy 👍 Unfortunately I just noticed that I completely forgot to take pictures of the Blue Cheese Phenotype # 3 🤦‍♂️🏻 The picture will be given later. The rest of the Vegi tent is also progressing very well. They are repotted in 11 liter pots this week, and then come to the flowering chamber die the following week The next week there will be new pictures, until then I wish everyone a nice start into the new week 🙏🏻💪🏻 Let it grow 🍀🌱

This is the last day of her life. Shes getting a bath of sun with 40c outside. After she will finish in the dark until i harvest her tomorrow Shes trying to get pollinated by throwing some new pistils here and there, but trichomes are cloudy mostly with amber tone. Not a lot of clear one.

The super lemon haze auto and the sour Diesel auto went to the chopping block. I cut them up into different branches instead of drying the complete plant like I always do, because the plants were to densly grown and would clump together while drying. (Super lemon haze drying in the back, behind the frankendiesel). Hung them in a tent with 50% humidity and around 18-19°C for the first 2 days. Then I will raise the humidity to 58% for 4-5 days. The last days they will be around 62% before going into the Cure Vaults Now let's play the waiting game. The Amnesia haze auto is still stacking, but showing brown spots and yellowing. I think it's calcium def.. but I have been giving calmag almost every feeding. So I 'm thinking it's a nutriënt blockage or something. So I gave her a flush yesterday and fed her again for the 2nd time today. See how that go's. Also put her in the other tent under the spider farmer SF2000 so the triple cheese photoperiod can use the spider farmer SE3000 to flower.

7/14 4AM MONDAY MUST DEFOLIATE!!!!! I HAVE 4 INSTEAD OF 2...BECAUSE OF MY LITTLE ACCIDENT EARLY ON.. I WILL TAKE ONE OUT OF FLOWER AND RE-VEG TODAY!!! 7/15 420am They are great cutting I took last month or week is great. Amino and mb today!! 230pm spectacular results today heavy defoliation I removed branches. I prefer a four cola grow in small spaces. It’s just better for airflow better for the plants and they responded so great. It’s like they’re jumping straight up now. I’ve never seen this. They’re just so vibrant that means all the amino’s. Everything is working perfectly. 👍👍👍🚨🚨🚨🌿🌿🌿 7/16 320am 🌿🌿🌿🌿🎊🎊🎊🎊💥💥💥💥👍👍👍👍 7/18 3am NOTICING Elongated Sepals!!!! from Search Ai "Elongated sepals in plants refer to sepals that are longer than average, often appearing narrow and pointed. This characteristic can be a defining feature of certain plant species, such as the long-sepal beardtongue (Penstemon calycosus). The length and shape of sepals can vary significantly between species and even within the same plant, influencing the overall appearance and potentially the function of the flower. Elongated Sepals: More Details Definition: Sepals are leaf-like structures that form the outermost whorl of a flower, typically green and protecting the bud. Elongated sepals are simply those that are noticeably longer than the typical sepal length for a given plant or group of plants. Examples: Long-sepal beardtongue (Penstemon calycosus): This plant is named for its elongated sepals, which are a key characteristic. Berberis (Barberry): Some Berberis species exhibit elongated sepals, with variations in shape and length among different sepal types within the same flower. Significance: Identification: Sepal shape and length are important features used in plant identification and classification. Pollination: In some cases, elongated sepals might play a role in attracting pollinators or influencing how they interact with the flower. Protection: Sepals, even elongated ones, still function to protect the developing flower bud. Morphogenesis: Studies on Arabidopsis have shown that the shape of sepals, including the presence of elongated tips, can be influenced by mechanical feedback within the plant and the arrangement of microtubules."""🚨. THIS IS ON 2 OF THEM, SO I MAY HAVE 2 STRONGER THAN AVG. PLANTS. I WONDER IF THE MB, AMINOS ARE HELPING WITH THIS TOO??? 7/19 I GOT A MAGNETIC STIR THING. 150pm they didn’t need a lot of attention today. They do need to be trimmed back down to four colas. I’m running out of space they are very perfect and if I had more space the leafs would be bigger, but that’s limited by mine condition so there’s nothing I can do but they are absolutely incredible🎊👍👍

Greetings, fellow growers! Welcome back to another exciting update on the journey of our beloved P.C.R.s. Week 4 of veg has been nothing short of spectacular, and I'm thrilled to share all the juicy details with you. After the successful transplant into their final homes, our girls are thriving like never before. The transition was seamless, thanks to careful preparation and attention to detail. I made sure to clean up our 3x3 tent thoroughly, leaving no corner untouched. LED lights, fans, and all equipment received a deep cleanse to ensure a pristine environment for our precious plants. Now, let's talk numbers. The TDS levels are holding steady at 470, indicating a perfect balance of nutrients for optimal growth. pH levels are sitting comfortably at 5.8, while the temperature remains a cozy 19 degrees Celsius for watering. These ideal conditions provide the perfect foundation for our PCRs to flourish. Speaking of lighting, let's delve into the ViparSpectra P2000—a true gem in our grow arsenal. This LED grow light is a game-changer, providing the perfect spectrum of light for every stage of plant growth. From vegetative to flowering, the ViparSpectra P2000 delivers consistent, high-quality light that promotes healthy development and robust yields. But the benefits don't stop there. The ViparSpectra P2000 is also incredibly energy-efficient, ensuring maximum output with minimal energy consumption. Plus, its compact design makes it the perfect fit for our 3x3 tent, delivering uniform coverage without any hot spots or shadowing. Now, let's circle back to the importance of cleanliness in the grow room. A thorough clean-up not only promotes better plant health but also helps prevent pests, diseases, and other potential problems down the line. By starting with a clean slate, we set ourselves up for success and pave the way for a bountiful harvest. In conclusion, Week 4 of veg has been a triumph on all fronts. Our PCRs are thriving, our grow environment is pristine, and our ViparSpectra P2000 is lighting the way to greatness. With each passing day, I'm more excited than ever to see what the future holds for our green beauties. Until next time, happy growing, and may your harvests be plentiful! Day 92 - Starting week 14 and this is by far the longest any strain I’ve grown has gone and I’m hoping she’ll be ready by the end of week 15. Debating on if I should start the nutes back up but not sure if that’ll do anything for her. Day 93 - Nothing much to update today but she will be needing some water tomorrow. All the leaves are being sucked dry but just don’t see the pistils starting to die off yet, all are still bright white. Gonna check the trichs tomorrow before feeding and maybe trichs will show she’s almost done. Worried I started flushing too soon. Day 94 - Gave her another 2 gallons of water pH’d to 6.6 today. Other than that I just removed quite a bit of leaves but still haven’t done a heavy defoliation yet. I’ll probably take care of that tomorrow since most of them are yellowed up now. A lot of milky trichs in there but still a ton of clear so still has some time left. Day 95 - Nothing much new today, just monitoring her trichs even though she still has a ton of white pistils. She does have quite a few milky but most clear overall. Day 96 - Nothing new to report today. All is looking good, just not sure when she’s gonna finish up. Not seeing any signs of the pistils dying off so gonna keep letting her go but still only giving her plain pH’d water. Day 97 - She still seems to be going strong. Gave her two gallons of pH’d water today. Really hoping I start seeing the pistils shrivel up soon. There’s a lot more milky trichs but still quite a bit of clear. Hoping she’ll be finishing up in the next two weeks. Day 98 - End of week 14 and still going strong. Nothing much I can say right now but I’m gonna keep giving her water until she finishes up. Looks like some of her pistils might finally be starting to shrivel up so may have two weeks left.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of 3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this Blue cheese Auto from Royal queen seeds will turn out. Blue Cheese automatic cannabis seeds are a cross of Blueberry Automatic and Cheese Automatic that has been perfected over five years of breeding and careful selection. The result is a feminized, autoflowering strain with superior yield, flavor, and effects to either of its distinguished parent strains. THC: 16% CBD: Low Yield Indoor : 325 - 375 gr/m2 Yield Outdoor: 60 - 110 gr/plant Height Indoor: 40 - 70 cm Height Outdoor: 60 - 110 cm Flowering: 7 - 8 weeks Harvest month: 9-10 weeks after planting Genetic Background: Blueberry x Cheese x Ruderalis Type: Sa 35% In 40% Ru 25% Effect: Cerebral and uplifting Climate: Mild .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. 2017-09-11. 🗓️ WEEK 8 / DAY 50-56 ⚡ Light: 30 cm / 150 watt; ⌛ Schedule: 18/6; 🌡️ 24.5° C - 65% RH average; 📑 PH 6.1 - EC 2.3; 🌱 Phenotype #1 is forming beautiful flowers, for two weeks I have been rotating the plants 180° every 3 days, so as to make the buds that would receive less light also swell. Height: 48 cm; 🌱 Phenotype #2 just stopped stretching and begins the flowering stage. Height: 55 cm; ⚙️ Fan, extractor and pump ON 24/0. 👯‍♀️ As you can see in the pics, I have other seedlings in my grow-box, here the diaries if you want to take a look: - White Widow (GHS): https://growdiaries.com/diaries/198827-green-house-seed-co-white-widow-grow-journal-by-deepwatergrower - Opium (Divine seeds): https://growdiaries.com/diaries/206602-divine-seeds-opium-grow-journal-by-deepwatergrower
