Pistils are out, floral sites are forming, and the stretch is starting with elegance. It’s possible they slipped into pre-flower during late veg without me catching it, they were so stable, compact, and lush that I might have missed the subtle signals. Either way, they’ve entered bloom with full confidence. Both phenos are incredibly similar in structure and size, making them a joy to manage. They’re compact yet big, stacking nodes tightly while still filling space. The leaf color is deep and uniform, the formation is textbook Haze, and the inner node spacing is perfectly balanced for light penetration. ⸻ 💧 Feed & Water Adjustments We’ve tweaked the recipe this week, retiring Aptus Start Booster and introducing Aptus Top Booster at 0.25 ml/L. Current Feed (per L): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml The soil is already enriched with slow-release Aptus pellets, which explains why EC in solution is lower (0.6) while the medium’s own EC is holding steady at ~2.0. They’re drinking well, 1.5–2 L per day — with irrigation happening around 25% dryness in the pots. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions & Upcoming Changes The room is running hotter than ideal at 31°C daytime, 25°C night. RH is stable at 50%. CO₂ sits comfortably at ~700 ppm. A dedicated AC unit is on its way and should be installed next week, which will help dial temperatures closer to the sweet spot for flowering. Soil temperature is at 25°C, supporting strong root activity, while PPFD at the canopy sits between 760–780 µmol/m²/s depending on plant position. We monitor these numbers carefully to keep photosynthesis at optimal efficiency without stressing the plants. ⸻ ⚙️ Why We Measure Everything • PPFD: Ensures plants receive the right light intensity for maximum photosynthetic activity during each stage. Finishing off the first week of flowering and watching the buds grow :) All strains seem to be happy with with 1L water with 12ml nutes 25/75 veg/bloom each, every other day. Missed the defoliating deadline in veg mode but have done some very light defoliation this week, I should do more I know and will once flowering is a bit more established. A bit more LST, again on the careful side. The next grow will get the full treatment :) Of course things were going too well, a couple of hours ago while I was working on climate stabilization contra running costs (I got my first power bill since grow start) I noticed 100's of very small ants all carrying eggs exiting the base of my Gorilla Glue's airpot. I had been trying to work out why she in general seemed a bit laggy. Now I might have the reason, grabbed the Neem as 1st defense and gave what I could see a good spray. For those that I couldn't see and were probably munching on the root system and tunneling through the medium I added 4 tablespoons of fresh coffee grounds and 6ml of Wood Vinegar (pyroligneous acid) to 1L water and gave the Glue a soaking. This all happened just before lights out so now hopefully by lights on the ants will be gone and the Glue will start to perk up. Yesterday I flipped the switches on the LEDS to include deep and IR light to the spectrum. All in all a good week I think, any tips and advice always welcome :) *Update Gorilla Glue is looking much better 12h after the treatment for the ant infestation. Coffee grounds and wood vinegar, natural, safe, effective and cheap as well. I have Cinnamon as well now, so I'm well prepared for any future ant invasions :)

2 Girls 1 Cup week 9? Short term memory loss is a m'fer... *edit* i have talked directly to quite a few suppliers/vendors/etc... and i can tell you FastBuds is a great company to do business with. im not licking boots here... i paid for my beans, and am loving these FastBuds genetics so far. JUST LOOK AT IT! a little short, but i think thats my fault from around the day 21ish mark if ya look back in the diary. i told myself i wasnt going to run any more autos, unless it was some odd occasion. but IF i do in the future... it WILL be FastBuds. unless this pink runtz i have ends up being an auto, and if it is.. im going to off the fucker lol. Day 56- GC is trying to catch up. I think stabbing the main helped a lil lol. Few random plucks on WG tonight, and don't even want to start on GC for now. May clean it up a bit later depending on how the back feels. It's got a ton of branches that are going to be too close REAL soon. Kinda f'd GC off over a week ago, and said I'd run it again in the future to make up for it. So not too pressed on how it looks, as long as it stays alive until WG chopping day. Atleast it wasn't a male 🤣. Anyway, bumped the girls up to the "aggressive" mid bloom GHE feed. Using TAP water to reduce the amount of calmag needed since mine has N in it.. Breakdown as follows: 5gal TAP water - 137ppm 15mL calmag - up to 252ppm 10mL hydroguard Micro- 33mL Grow- 33mL Bloom- 47.5mL RES total after PH correction - 818 @ 5.91. ============================================================================================= Day 57- I REALLY need to cut back GC... like yesterday... backs been hurting something fierce, and I'm out of my medicine of choice ATM. few random plucks on WG today. may make my way in there again later and start hacking away at GC. will update pic if I do. They're both liking aggressive feed, maybe a touch too heavy on the N though. *edit* 🎶oops, i, stabbed it again...🎶 lol. still feel there's a branch that's gotta go. Started pulling WG out some to help expose lowers. Need more garden wire for sure ============================================================================================= Day 58- cut back GC even more.. we'll keep it alive, but I'll make sure it doesn't block the beloved WG. remember, there will be a list of things I learned I did WRONG in this experiment and will share at the conclusion. Trimmed up WG little bit later in their morning. Top view pic is after the small defol. Some fans only had the middle finger snipped, to be on the safe side. Progress seems slow on WG atm, but it's getting ready to fatten up and mature. ============================================================================================= Day 59- i just cut back GC AGAIN!!! like HALF of its branches, and cut all the tops to the same length before snapping todays pic. after comparing 58 to 59's pic... it STILL looks like it grew.. WTF... that things confused ASF or something... just dont herm on me... WG finish is right around the corner.. a few weeks... hang in there GC... hang in there... ive been topping off with 80% strength nutes and RO water, and the EC has remained pretty consistent. may bump em up one more time for WG next week to help fatten her up some. right before we dial it all back for the end. WG already looking pretty frosty, and the weatherman is predicting some more in the next weeks. *edit* added a night vid to show my WG defol struggles. Its easier to see why the foliage looks so thick and it needs a trim when lights on when you see lights off.. We're down to a few fans towards the bottom to help out down there. Rest are connected to bud sites, and are limited. May need to add a small fan blowing up WG skirt soon. ============================================================================================= Day 61- nothing really to report. tried to kill the ice probe, and put frozen 1L bottle (in 12hr rotations) to see how it performed. i think 61.2 is a little too cold for my liking, and one morning i woke the temp was over 71.. the roots are messing with the flow and the water isnt getting chilled as much with the probe. problem ive been facing for the last week or so. ice probe back in, and warming up the tent with its exhaust again.. should fab up a duct system for a 3d printer... ideas... tinkercad here we go.. ============================================================================================= Day 62- kinda feel bad for leaving GC out of the shot yesterday. Since she's riding along in this experiment... added her back today. WG is starting to phase 2. Her finish is coming within the next 2-3 weeks I'm guessing. Maybe 4? Our Tangerine Dream by Zamnesia is a strong piece because? I come from an area where mandarins reign supreme, when I was a kid the peels ended up covering the numbers of the first rudimentary bingo games. We all have a clear smell of mandarin in our nose and olfactory memory and we distinguish it from other citrus fruits, at least lemon. I had a Jet Fuel that was strong with mandarin and my friends all went crazy for example, "you can feel the peel" they tell me. It's like this guys when a strain is good ok it has to be strong, but the terpene profile reigns supreme. It has to smell, remind you of something, have an olfactory configuration is essential in today's cannabis and those citrus ones are the most recognizable but the nuances between the citrus ones are pure love. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the indicated techniques and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find it left to grow straight, we did a bit of LST on the lower branches but slowly we eliminated them. This week we are emphasizing the fact that when you grow the plant like this, but it is valid in general, you should send into bloom only the part of the plant that actually sees a sufficient amount of light that you must learn to evaluate. Everything that is below should be cleaned simply because it will weaken the production above. Better not to waste energy on the plant to produce weak branches and wake flowers Comparison is the salt of experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to compare. We have started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). Hi GD Family, A big thank you to Green house Seeds Co, for selected to test their new US genetic. My previously run was a #Wonder Pie came from this bank, and i'm verry happy of the result. So, I'm pressed to see what this strain has in the belly !!! 💪💪💪💪 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Puted the seeds into a glass of mineral water to activate them. Then, putted them between two papels of towel until the germination. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The first four seeds did not germinate. According to FastBuds schedule the end is near and I can see it on the yellowing fan leaves, also the smell gets more intense. There is still quite a lot white pistils on the buds, given the fact she is a CBD strain my goal is to see more amber coloured trichomes, so I want to keep her alive as long as possible.

For another week I will rinse only with clean water and then I will cut it.

2 of dem from the 2nd set don't seem to catch dem self yet🤷🏾‍♂️ but the rest are taking off....those from the 1st set still ain't transplanted and they are pushing hard ties ain't holding dem back. 2 that where transplanted previously jus tryin to get dem a good size n send dem on a breeding project for the beginning of the Most of new cutting have visible root

Big bush and beautiful dwarf All going well. Really interesting to see how different they develep Strawberry cough starts to develop dark leaves. Pineapple gets really nice and fat buds with a lot of frosting.

MONDAY: First week of flowering nutrients: TUESDAY: Defoliated THURSDAY: starting to feed with 2ml Top Bloom + 1ml Top Candy Big One 1L sprayed + 2L water with Top Bloom Plant Three - accidentally broke the top of the main stem while doing LST - be careful, don't do it when in a hurry! It got bush again after less than a week, i think i am still waiting for the stretch, hope not too much.

This is the final week right before the harvest. I am very pleased with the results. I am also glad that Spider Mite problems ceased once and for all with the harvest :)

We are 3 days into flush. I flush with plain water. It is day 47 and yes I’m flushing early. Only a few amber trichomes to be seen but that’s gonna change rapidly. Last time under this same set up I went to day 60 and found a few pods. So 60 is a day or 3 over. Was gonna go with 50 and see what it looks like. If they need a few more days they will get it.

Slowly tapered the nutes mainly just watering with 1/8 tsp per gal. of open sesame. Since I'm new I'm compiling everything I've read and making an educated guess at how I am supposed to flush these girls for 2 weeks. But simultaneously never just feeding plain water... What do you guys think? How close are we. Need tips

The week has been going very well plants are reacting good to nutrients and seem to be happily growing , haven’t fiddled around too much this week as starting to get the hang of things slowly ! The grow so far has been quite smooth And haven’t run into any Major problems all plants have been topped and will continue lst throughout I believe they look quite healthy haha ? First timers luck 😉🤨 we hope so Good end to the week next week I shall trim and see how that goes Happy growing 💎

Altogether this was an amazon experience no complaints at all I look forward in the future grows and lesson to come forth because I know there's plenty more to learn

Fellow growers, Back for the weekly update. This girl starts smelling just yummy. Nice scents of wood/pine, cheese and citrus, at least to my nostrils :) Steady fattening no more growth, amber/milky on the sugar leaves but clear/milky on the buds/calyx. At least 10-14 more days is my guess. Exciting :) Very thirsty last days, I will stop feeding in 5-7 days. It's been all organic feeding so no need for extreme flushing.
