Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Well! Their time has come, this was their last photo shoot after week 10 of life cycle and right before harvest. We've come to an end of this balcony experiment. Had loads of fun watching these two ladies grow in my balcony. They only received 5 hours of direct sunlight each day. (09h - 14h) So to be honest I wasn't expecting this size and density with such little hours of direct sunlight. This strain is easy to grow and doesn't need much attention. Chopped them on day 73 of life cycle (day 52 of bloom) Both have a nice dense cola, one is thicker while the other smells much more potent. Decent amount of trichomes given the circumstances and blazing heat these past weeks. All in all they look gorgeous, smell great and I'm satisfied with the results. Now to dry and get cured. Then comes the taste testing. I'll update this diary with final weight, photos and all that good stuff as soon as they're done. Stay tuned, stay safe and happy growing! 😃

Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine 😉

This is my first induced flowering growth. I always grow weed outdoors with big satisfaction on yield and nature contact, But I have to say that training plants is real fun and I can’t wait to see the buds first appear and then fatten up. On day 5 of flowering she started to appear a little stressed, I think is a little overfeeding because her leaves are a little burned on the tip and a little underwater too but this morning end of day 6 appear to be recovering has the timelapse show on the end. Everything is working well, the white flyes are extinct for now. Got a bit of spotting here and here that i presume is from the neem but not sure. Runoff is getting out in the same value as the input, and PH is not dropping, but I suspect to have a bit of salt buildup. I have diled a bit back on the base for 2ml/l, leaf color is great. Have to travel soon so I’m putting up a irrigation sistem to help out in this 7days that i will be away...

Watermelon Autoflower is growing good under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2 in the Gen1:11 nutrition. She is doing a lot of stretching. I lollipopped the plant and defoliated her some. She also got a solution change a few days ago. Everything is looking good. Ar first when she sprouted grows slowly and in early veg i made many stress and techniques in little pot before transplanted in big pot she grow really faster and get many inside stems whick i cut them all and stay only big n top ones it was very hard to make lst and somethimes i needed to make hst her stems are wildly hard as steel and not easy to give her nice bodybuilding she had many wound and cuts on stem. Flowering phase was amazing beautiful at first it was full white stretching so long middle stems nonstop growing whole 6week and only at last weeks she get many trichomes flavors and starting yellow pistils visually looked pineapple

Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Week 10 of Veg December 29th 2019 Hi Folks well we now have aproximately 6 weeks until The day lengths shorten enough to trigger flowering. My main goal now is to try to keep the plant in tip top condition aswell as provide the support the branches will need when the buds start to get bigger. This is the biggest Ive managed to get this plant to grow before now, and with 6 weeks of veg still to go plus the stretch and I might just end up with a nice haul of juicy Pineapple chunk goodness for my efforts. ******As a side note I have two clones I took from this plant that I have already sprayed with my STS reversing mix for Breeding Purposes (see above pic) Cheers for checking out my Diary once again see you next year 👊

Actualización 05/10/2024 ¡Hola, growers! Perdón por no poder compartir las semanas completas, pero poco a poco volvemos a la normalidad. Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨
