6/13: I harvested both plants today. I did a cursory wet-trim and washed their buds, and then hung them to dry. I'm guessing the ugly one will weigh in at about 80g, and the smaller, pretty one, will weigh in at about 65-70g. The plants ended up being the biggest in my garden, but were a little slower than some of the other strains to get into flower. The buds never swelled up very big, but they're very dense and smell wonderful. The aromas really bring back memories from the last time I grew NL back in the early 90's. Looking forward to giving it a try!👍 I'll update in another week or so with the smoke report and my final thoughts.. 9/16: Initially, it had not much smell or flavor, but after leaving it alone for a few months, it improved quite a bit. Still not my favorite, but very good bud all the same. Plant A: 83g Plant B: 75g Potency: 6/10 Yield: 6/10 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 7/10 Density: 8/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Tolerance to abuse: 9/10

Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music video's 5th March 2020 Flowering Begins ....................................... My little creation is officially Flowering folks!! After stretching upwards about 30cm all tips are developing little Budlets. I started to see minor signs of Nitrogen deficiency from a coupleof bottom leaves that suddenly began to yellow. This is fairly normal as the plant would have needed as much (nitrogen) as it could get doing all that stretching. I needed to feed half strength grow nutes ( professors nutrients) @1ml/L three times during the last 7 days. Now that the stretch seems to have slowed right down I will start to add some Dr Greenthumbs Bud n Bloom mix ( aprox qtr of a cup). I'll also keep using LST to allow as much light to penetrate as possible. 👍 **** Now for the Weekly Australian Music Videos *** Last week I posted Links to songs from the Artist Paul Kelly , they were Sleep Australia Sleep and Dumb Things. I hope you listened to them but that's your preference whether you choose to or not. Anyhoo This weeks Artist is a real Blast from the Past!! The bands called Daddy Cool and Ive selected a couple of their quite catchy tunes that were recorded way back in the 1970's Firstly is a Classic here in australia this is.... Eagle Rock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQfAZVsz6KM And the other song is Come back again https://youtu.be/oIG9osPPILM I am sure these will have you bopping along to their cool and laid back Musical style. Hope you Enjoy and please leave a like if you do & I'll be back next week with another grow update and Aussie music Video 💪👌👍

Zkittlez, Strawberry Pie and Lemon pie are all looking and smelling great. SP is still the frostiest but Zkittlez smells the best. Purple Punch has started to flower finally. I let her dry out too much but bounced back after some water. I also added a homemade wire net to keep her trained. The 3 in mid flower have finished their stretching so evened their height by adding some take away tubs beneath. I did some light defoliation on all of them and adjusted some of the ties. Zk: 28cm Lp: 32cm Sp: 19cm Pp:14cm Thanks for checking out my grow

Hoping she stops the stretch soon as she'll be getting very close very close to the light if she doesn't. Very happy with how the canopy and defo turned out. Still stretching, OH LAWD. She was 25 cm away from the light, that's lightburn just waiting to happen. Got the two tents in series now with all the equipment in the larger tent so this light can literally kiss the roof, which was very much needed. Canopy was looking a little dense in parts and the corners had nothing at all so I fixed that. This really is turning into a very nice run for me. Last defo day 21, I'll have the choice between a 45 and 30 cm deep canopy it seems. I think I fucked up the defo, I think I took way too much fan leaves. I left 3 fan leaves at least to the top of each main.

Still see a few white hairs growing out and the buds look a bit bigger. Plants are fading and looking good. The beginning of the week will be the last time I feed nutes. Straight PH'd water from now on. Lookijg at the tric's a lot of clear ones still. I'm thinking it will still be another two weeks until harvest. Thanks for looking.

End of the first official week of rooting for these WalkerBerry OG cuts. We’re down to 6 plants and 2 specimens of each. It’s been 4 days since initial cutting and they’re already showing small signs of rooting. I’ve had nothing but success with this little home made aerocloner for years and it’s just so much easier and less hassle than all the humidity domes and mats etc. nothing against it - I’m just lazy and all that stuff is a pain in the ass. As of now - all the leaves on the cuts have started to ball up in confusion as they shift focus to more root creation. They want to flower but know they can’t so I expect to see re-vegetation in another few days. After that we’ll probably have to look at some sort of impromptu dwc system as this container likely can’t take even half of em through full term through pollination. We’ll look to re-initiate flower as soon as they’ve got some decent developed root growth. Alls good here👍. ***update - all clones showing good root growth in only 7 days. Upping to a full Rez in a couple days.

Starting week 7 of Flower finds me planning the next 6, including scheduling a Flush and Tapering the Nutrients off in the next month. - ReStaked a few branches for even spacing & At the End of last week I top-dressed both pots with fresh Soil n Sand. -fresh material at play and the plants are using a lot of water. -able to feel when the big pots are drier and ready for water, by lifting one-end regularly. Just to gauge weight... it’s working. This grow has me trying to establish a much bigger root-ball; re 15 gal pots / 16 litre feeds ... I’ve laughed at some of the previous ones. Feb 2nd, Buds are touching, conditions are being changed slowly mid-flower & hoping they get real chubby in the coming weeks. With the constant reminders that quality grows take longer to mature in Flower than the literature usually states; my plan is to Flush sometime during week 10 (month end) - Three weeks to make it count. Trichomes to dictate Feb 4, - getting my head around htf I’m going to flush this pair in 3+ weeks. Low ceiling+tall sink+tall plant. Feb6 - slight reduction in Calimag and the next feed will see rapidstart reduced as well. Small moves but in the right direction. - tonight is a scheduled feed. Volumes have been big over the last 3 weeks and I am deciding to give the plants an extra couple days without Water, to make sure it is on the dry side as we enter the 2nd half of flower. Feb 7th - the UV-B light just might be having an impact on the buds of the R plant. There are a number of buds that are becoming obviously covered in Resin Glands. - used a moisture meter, the bottom of both pots is a bit wet. Patience wins... This is the plant that physically is still ~ 10 days behind the L plant. just an observation... As this week wraps-up, my plans for next week are to reduce the light cycle by 30 min to 11.5 hrs lite per day. And to drop the humidity another 2%. But that’s for next week. All is going strong at this point, Buds are filling out, smell at the door of the tent is obvious; earthy & dank. Up close from touching a bud it explodes of a Citrus smell. That’s the best description so far Feb 9th, almost a week since last water/nutes, tonight is a green light. Actually felt the pot lighter. Moisture Meter agreed. 17L later ... - balanced the branches / supports and found a good fit between the two pots under the one light. -adding more fresh air to the tent also helped drop the RH a bit. Ready for this transition. - A dry week in reality, cannot wait to see the changes next week after this last, big Max nutrient feed. ** bottom leaves had just began to droop as I watering the plant. Did manage to take it close to the edge mid-way through flower, now it’s Hungry at a critical time. Come on week 8

Hello again guys and welcome to day 89! The girls are taking their time but finally the trichomes are turning milky. As you can see from the videos, they still aren’t quite there yet. I really want them to reach their maximum potential instead of rushing it. I think in maybe a week or so they should be ready! Thanks for stoping by

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Hi everyone Welcome 🙂 In the end I collected this plant on day 61 of flowering The trichomes, at the time of cutting, were around 10/15% amber The aroma it gives off is very good, but generally , for me , it has a Kush soul.. And I love it ❤️🔥🌱 In smoke it is earthy, but not too much, with a basically sweet base.. Sometimes it is pungent.. Smoke made with organic filter and paper and obviously only ganja 👌 Using the vaporizer, especially in the Kush or cmq the herbs tend to be less fruity, I appreciate much more the flavors that are more complex, delicate and less pungent.. Temperatures from 180 ° up to 192 °.. Maybe making the first 184 ° pitch is the best.. Test in this case done with mighty The effect is pleasant and relaxing, but not too much. Let's say more a state of tranquility and calm, but which does not result in sleep .. Even the eyes do not fade a lot and the chemical hunger does not appeal to zombies 😁 The flowers are dense and fragrant.. Trichomes have a high density and the resin is super sticky 🤩 At the time of the test, the flowers had been dried, whole plant, for six days at a temperature between 20/23 degrees Celsius and a ur between 55/60% Later I made a manicure using hairdressing scissors, which after half an hour of use show their usefulness resulting much more manageable.. However, given the great stickiness of the flowers, both she and the other two, especially the one in the other journal that I am taking care of 👌, I was forced to clean the scissors every branch that I cleaned because the situation with the glue was unmanageable 😅 I cleaned the flowers by leaving them hanging on the branch, so as to touch them as little as possible and I find it comfortable.. I then put the branches on a net for two days.. Past these I cut the flowers from the branches and placed them in the jar starting the care process.. I opened the jar from four until I get to once a day, over the course of four weeks.. In the end it's A plant that I recommend to everyone, especially for those with limited space.. Easy to grow.. Thanks Barney's 🙏 Thanks Grow diaries for this space 🙏💪: 1:🔥 And thanks for the support yesterday, today and tomorrow 😎🙏: 1:: 1: Happy growing 🌳 Ciao✌️ 🇮🇹 BONUS I am growing the same type of plant, but one with a larger pot (20l geotexil vs this in 11l smart-pot , the original one ) and above all with a different substrate (Living soil High-Brix) You can find her in the link below 👇 https://growdiaries.com/diaries/46286-barney-039-s-farm-dos-si-dos-33-grow-journal-by-fun-clouds Grow more Grow always It's the true medicine 🙂🌱
