Hey all! Finally! This is the last week of veg! :D I know Matcha still has a lot of things going on but I believe I've waited more than enough for this (10 weeks is a lot considering one of the plants is still small and the other one isn't as big as it should be). Both are also starting to drink more water compared to before! Pistachio is now getting thirstier a lot faster now! I defoliated both plants and I'll do it again in about 3 more weeks to allow the lower budsites receive more light. I believe I could've trimmed a bit more heavily but I believe what I did was enough, they have been going thru some issues and I don't want to risk it all. I also removed all the small growtips in my plants, the ones that are just going to never develop very well because they are way too low and no light will reach them well. Week 5 day 35 today I turned the plants 180° and defoliated not too sure if I absolutely butchered them but its done now time will tell....they've been watered straight after also I've noticed no yellow tips or deficiency on leafs all through pur which is shocking...this strain is the best one I have grown soo far I've done about 5 so far over 10 years with big gaps so learning again for sure slowly 👍 would like to grow this again soon but properly next time... temps are around 26-27 still using the cfls to keep temps up and is going well so far. Im looking for seeds for next time I want to grow but can't seem to find this strain anywhere 😕

Looks really good pushing her to the max. Still a few white hairs! Probably the end of this week I'll chop her. 7/18 put her in the closet all night for her dark cycle. 7/19 I cut her down this morning in her dark period. Hung her in my dark closet. 7/23 she is still no where near dry. This will be my slowest dry yet! Trimmed half of her up today. She smells incredible!! So sticky!! I'll take her weight when she is ready for jars.

All 4 seeds popped, 2 were wicked, but straightened out within the first week. Had them in coco pucks and a dome, with saturated concrete perlite

I believe last week's flush may have fixed my PH issue, the yellowing (mag deficiency) seems to have stopped spreading..

Growing faster showing fat buds! Im very happy! 2 more weeks and 🔪

Starting into Week 5 Flower, week 11 total Mandarin Cookies definitely has an extremely strong orange citrus smell! Trichomes are coming in very nicely! MC’s are still ahead of the SK’s... however the SK on the left is catching up, with the one on the right having some budlets starting to form. 3 - Madarin Cookies are two in back and one in center; 2 - Silver Kush are two up front; 2 gallons water/nutes per 5 plants, alternating with plain water (just calmag, malassis, Ph. 6.4) every other day. Ph.6.4 (1.5 C.F.) Fox Farm Ocean Forest, mixed with (1.5 C.F.) garden soil, fills (5) 5 galllon fabric pots perfectly. (50/50 mix.) The new version of Spider Farmer SF-4000 is an awesome light, for anyone wondering. Can’t say enough good things about this light! Way less heat that any HPS/MH I’ve used. My big curiosity is about the final weight per watts used at finish for the Spider Farmer... UPDATE Week 5, Day 6: I did notice some heat stress on only a few of the taller branches (they were about 6” from the light). I did move the light a little further up about 4” to get some distance, and added an extra fan. Hope this helps the leaf curling! Question: have you ever driven past a house and can instantly tell they just harvested?? Ha! I just did that on my way home, and thought I was smelling my house from a long distance away.

This week has had good progress since i have introduced the canna. First dose was at half strength and next was the normal dose. And they blew up over that week. Am on vacation but will have normal updates on my diarys all soon enough! Whole family all 7 down in florida in 3 bedroom condo!!! Stay up everyone Never know what the next day holds! 💚
