Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest. Going well I think getting nice n bushy for 3 weeks veg. Got to love growing ya own. So woke up this morning to find 4 females in my tent. Was a happy boy this morning.. Iv had to trim a lot of fan leaves back. Very big and was blocking a lot of the middle n bottom. Another 2 weeks 18.6.then 7.9.weeks flower. Or until tricomes turn Amber.

Sept 10th She was ankered to the fence with rope. Notthing to report really. Looking great no sign of mould. Heads are yellow looking. Pretty bizarre. From a distance its is really striking...does'nt show in pictures sadly She is next up for defoliation, together with Killer Kush. Few more days rain till sunny period..fingers crossed. This lady is a beast, such a big bush full of flowers, very sweet aroma, I can't find the cherry notes yet but it's very very sweet, I love this strain, all of them have the same smell, and this pheno is just amazing, very strong and for what I can see very productive too 😍🌱❄️🍪

Week went smoothly cant complain....cutting are doing well also took 4 cutting of seed(think it's from applelicious) they already rooted n transplanted going to veg for a lil n send to flower to see if it's worth

Rookie mistake I left my lights on at 40% up until a few days ago smh... so they stretched and some fell over. So, I turned the lights up to 80% 3 days ago and 100% last night. At 22-24 inches away from the girls. I think I may have over watered as well maybe... so I haven't watered for 24 hours and gonna give it another day until I water again. Any thoughts before I start to panic?

Day 54 of flower. We’re on cruise control. Been flushing her out for the last few weeks. Will be harvesting a week from today or a few days afterwards. The purple is really coming in heavy! She’s frosty and sticky with the slightest touch. Just counting down the days till she’s done. Until next update!

Another week of filing out and piling on crystal, absolutely love this strain . I smoked a bit of it already and it’s so sweet , heavy on the cookie and then bang a citrus burst to finish. Maybe another 2 weeks and I’ll be in orange cookies heaven . It’s gonna be a bumper harvest those buds are so dense and long really got that orange dream structure and the taste of that classic cookie . Really special strain this one highly recommended.

This week #2 has fattened up a fair bit. Earlier in the week I tried a technique called backbuilding which I never heard of before which involves snipping of the very top of bud growth late in flower to encourage fat buds rather than stretchy ones. Left a couple as they were to compare. I am giving this one plain water from now till the end. #1 is progressing. The bottom of the plant has totally disappeared haha, hopefully the GHE nutes will save the top. Due to lacking nitrogen during its extended veg period which I wasn't planning for; thought it would start flowering anytime! Looks a lot more frosty than #2 did at this point. Should be a good harvest none the less considering how it has had the top cut off and the deficiencies.

Today marks a significant milestone in the journey of my cannabis plants as I have successfully set up the irrigation system. This new development will ensure an efficient and consistent supply of water for the plants, fostering a conducive environment for their growth. Up until now, I've been diligently top feeding the plants since their germination, laying a solid foundation for their root system. As a result, I anticipate that the plants will be well-equipped to adapt to this change and will continue to flourish. The plants have been thriving spectacularly and have demonstrated a clear preference for being dispersed over a larger surface area. I attribute this positive response to the method of main lining, a technique that has proven to be one of the most straightforward and effective approaches I've tried. The anticipation of seeing the final canopy and colas is immense, and I am eager to see how this technique will enhance the overall yield of my cannabis plants.
