And this was the biggest bean and she looked fine till day 11, wanted even to show how bean size matters, but now all is gone, should i top her, or leave that natural mainlining ?? When i spray her, two top leaves fall down and lower nods new grow is exposed, so lst her like this ? Please help !!! Other 3 gorillas looks really ok, smallish, but ok. Cookies grow funky aswell, looks like two days behind gorillas. Thought to give them first nutes, but now i will wait a bit ... Started rotating girls every day.

Hey folks into week 15. Ladies are in full flowering mode. Just the usual watering but we are now adding 100ml of molassas to 5 gal of water. Also been doing selective defoiliation so prime bud sites can get good light pen. See yall on the next update.

So we’ve come to a slow down on the stretch and they’ve started to work n creating flowers, I defoliated about 10-15% of the fan leaves and removed stems that had less vigor or was too under the canopy and wouldn’t of created any good flowers as these plants are a whopping near 50” so proud to be a loyal Martian! The lights are so powerful and provide the plants with the power of the sun ☀️

Ok so I'm going too only feed pH water from here on out too force the plants too use up all that's in the soil , I am hoping I can carry them on now for the next 2 weeks like this before they are ripe , Update at the end of week 9 Well this week saw a lot of change , bud swelling and ripened up really quickly And slowed right down on drinking last time I checked she was 30% amber and 70% cloudy so she has been moved into a dark room until Thursday now too drink what’s left in her pot ready for harvest at the weekend , she smell so good and if you brush against it , So that’s one down 3 too go :)

Plants + Fertilization At the beginning of this week (and after the stresses and strains of the last few weeks), I decided to give the soil a little boost so that it could get back on track to reach its full potential. For this, I mixed approx. 1 part worm humus and biochar with about 2 parts lukewarm water and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. This is significantly shorter than recommended, but should still be enough for the biochar to absorb the organisms and then release them into the substrate later. [Without this charging process, the charcoal can also undergo this loading process within the substrate due to its microporous structure, and with that, actually draw nutrients from the soil!] Besides that, I looked more into the living soil topic and now think that what I noticed at some leaves might actually be a normal side effect from the living soil. The assimilation of nutrients is more complex than in traditional setups and the plant itself takes a bigger part in balancing the whole symbiose of every part of that system. (You can't just 'give' the system the nutrients it needs, it needs to make them available on its own.) Environment + Organisms +Pests Due to the removal of the sand and the watering, the humidity rose by about 10% and is now exactly where I wanted it to be at this point in time. A little hack: I filled a stainless steel bowl with water and placed it on the lamp's cooling element. This not only cools the lamp and extends its life, but also creates slight thermal turbulence and increases the humidity in the tent. II also noticed some kind of mites (I guess Oribatida?) that seem to help deconstruct the organic matter - another sign that the soil is still eager to work! At day 47 I also (again) implemented 2 sticky fly traps, to 1: observe what kind of critters I have in my setup and 2: keep the Sciaridae under controle. As you can see, there are already some gnatson there (1 day after placing them) but also a hugh amount of spingtails. This is a bit unfortunate, since I want them in my system, but also ain't a significant problem, as it only affects a fraction of the springtails. LST The Mimosa Cake Auto grows extremely densely and needs to be defoliated almost daily, otherwise the leaves pile up and form literal reservoirs of moisture. For this reason, I also regularly remove side shoots. My goal for all shoots is to be at least 5-10 cm apart so that they don't grow into each other. (I will introduce a SCROG in 1-2 weeks). Apart from that, the Mimosa could be on the verge of developing a small crack at the top of the main stem, as the nodal spacing is so small that the side shoots completely fill that nodal spacing with their diameters, thus building up a lot of tension. (Pre-)Flower During my observation, I noticed that one of the axillary pre-flowers appeared to be a male pollen sac, which I removed as a precaution - just to be safe. Besides that, no abnormalies. (Living) Soil On day 49, I decided to conduct a soil analysis using a pH test. This is the most important indicator of healthy (living) soil and should be roughly between 6 and 7, ideally between 6.4 and 6.6. According to the test results, my soil is a little too alkaline, but should still be within the acceptable range. Top dressings with leaves or wurm castings and the decompositional processes within the soil should make the it more acidic anyway - I will support this by watering with stale tap water or rainwater.

What's up guys? This week was very nice. They gained a lot of trichomes and the smell became extremely strong. Smells like a very sweet perfume. I love it and I can't wait to have a taste. I fed them the last time today. From now on they will get pure water only. See you next week!

At the start of week 9 The end of the feeding schedule for two out of the three ladies for "Cath" & "Lorna" 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water only, for the remaining amount of time ripening up. "Anna-Marie" is still on the normal feeding schedule as she's several weeks behind the other two so fed her 13mls of Bio Flores and 20 mls of Bio Boost diluted in 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. Chopped off a couple of LARFY branches to sample. I then gave them a quick couple of days speed dry in front of the fire 🔥 😅 Yes I know they need to cure but temptation be dammed, needs must lol 😆

Flowering Week 28: Blueberry – The Final Countdown Update: 25.09.2025 | Day 202 Hey Growmies, With her African BFF now harvested, the spotlight is fully on Blueberry – and she’s loving the attention. Here’s where we stand as we approach the finish line. Plant Status & Progress - She’s still asking for at least one more week, ideally two, to fully ripen. - Her structure remains gorgeous – long, elegant colas that keep fattening up daily. Compared to Durban’s dense nuggets, Blueberry’s buds are longer and more slender, but don’t let that fool you – they’re packing on weight. - Mold-free so far, even with all the rain. A true testament to her genetics and maybe a little grower’s luck. Aroma & Readiness - The smell is just… wow. Sweet, berry-bubblegum-like, and intensely aromatic even before full maturity. - My goal is to let most of her go until ~20% amber trichomes, but the weather is doing its best to ruin the plan. Weather Woens & Harvest Plans - Rain has been relentless for almost two weeks – nature’s way of balancing out that dry spring. - I may pre-harvest a few top colas next week to ensure I salvage at least some of this deliciousness if mold appears.
