After deciding to start this new growing journey, I chose to germinate a Banana Purple Punch seed from Fast Buds. This particular strain caught my attention with its unique characteristics, and I couldn't resist giving it a try. I began by using a hydrogen peroxide water solution to germinate the seed, which helps oxygenate the water and prevent harmful pathogens. After about 36 hours, the seed cracked open, revealing the first signs of life. With a taproot emerging, I carefully transplanted the sprouted seed into a 20L airpot, ensuring enough room for the roots to breathe and grow freely. This marks the beginning of an exciting new adventure, nurturing this intriguing strain to its full potential.🌱💚 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ One of my cannabis seedlings unfortunately didn’t survive in the pot....😭 Now, I’m trying again with two more seeds of the same strain, but I’ve changed my approach. Once they've successfully sprouted, I transfer them into coco tablets. There, they’ll remain until they’ve developed healthy roots before being moved to their final growing environment. I’m hopeful that this method will help me handle the early phase of the cannabis plants more successfully, and I’m excited to see how things turn out.💚💚

Many signs of flower but calling this week veg. This has been such a simple grow. Very light food and water intake. Keeps the res nice and stable. I just raise the lights a couple inches every few days. For topping, alternate between 100% solution and plain water too keep my PPMs up.

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Waiting on a full plant hang dry so will wait at least two weeks maybe three hope ma vegging station holds up n can dae tge damage the now as av said guys this is definitely not the perfect set up am not on good terms with land lord so basically squatting here lol and growing and a got caught with one in this house the land lord doesn’t even know lol 😂

I continued like normal with the feed expect for one day which I just put pH correct water in the tank as I saw I little nutrition burn on the leaf tips. The temperature was difficult to maintain so I added a fan adjuster so I could regulate it easier.

Moving into the last half of flower now. Things mostly ok but that tall one in the back is recovering from uptake issues. The green is on the way back in. Hope yalls grows are going ok. see you next time.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. 1/11/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I have a root almost in the water.. Yay!! Top feeding is almost done. she is looking a little sad as I work the transition Top feeding but once the roots are fully in the water she will start to take off. Ensured my PPFD is set between 250-300 it is set to: 258 1/12/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I have a root in the water.... NO TOP FEED TODAY SIR!!! now that a root is touching the water and she looks stable, I am not going to topfeed, I will see how she looks tomorrow and as long as everything looks good I am going to go ahead and do a change and week 1 fill on Nutes.. I know it is a couple of days in but the same Nutes go through Week 2 and get changed at Week 3 So I should be good to go.. I will just ensure I fill to root touching the water when I change tomorrow. 1/13/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- Water Change Day!! I added 36 Gallons of Water to the system: Silica= .5mil/gal= 18mil CalMag= .75mil/gal = 27mil FloraMicro=3.0mil/gal = 108mil FloraGro=2.0mil/gal = 72mil FloraBloom= 2.0mil/gal = 72mil PH DOWN= 30mil Very important thing with this system is to now wait the 24 hours for the system to adjust.. Do not make any further adjustments to your PH up or Down for 24 hours to allow time for the system to balance. 1/14/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 4- Today I just adjusted the PH to ensure that it was right at 6.0 1/15/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 5- Today I Cleaned up the lower damaged leaves from the transition from top feeding to roots in the water. She looks good today. 1/16/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 6- Today I just took a picture of the beautiful lady for Log. Other than that just normal day to day operations, check the pH, check the Humidifiers and fill as necessary, check level of water in the Res. Everything looks great. onto Tomorrow!! 1/17/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 7- Today I filled the humidifers, checked the PH and just let her grow.. Grow baby Grow.....

Appears to have some nutrient lock out? Not sure? Probably just going to continue her out until harvest at about day 64. Plant still smells amazing. Buds are smaller than I would like. Still a good plant. Very resilient.

Pheno 1: strong natural tart cherries with a slight candy Pheno 2: loud cherry candy Pheno 3: cherry fun dip Pheno 4: cherries mashed with earthiness Pheno 5: the strongest cherry pheno I’ve ever smelt. Just loud cherries in your face. I kept pheno 3 and 5. I pressed both into rosin and the terps were insane it smelt like I worked a double at the marischino cherry factory. The terps on 3 were cherries on the inhale with a candy fun dip exhale (absolutely up my alley). Pheno 5 was the most in your face cherry I’ve ever tasted. It was straight cherries throughout the inhale exhale with a slight tart/candy on the back end. I have found my cherry phenos for my future business. Thank you for riding this journey with me. Had this cutting on the go slowly doing it thing on the window sill establishing . New led light has just arrived and got the tent set up to prep a batch a of cuttings to do my next run with . Hopefully things will speed up so I can have my cuttings ready in time

FBT011 Northern Lights From Fastbuds 2nd week of flowering 29th December 2019 Well she's shot up a bit since last weeks update and now sits at 54cm from soil to tip. No noticeable aroma as of yet but there is some resin as the buds feel slightly sticky when gently rubbed. I fed her some Mr B's Green trees Bloom mix and a 1/4 tspoon of Great white. *******As a side note the two cuttings I took have definately taken as they have both started to show their preflowers and have some tiny new growth. So I mmediately sprayed with my STS Reversing Spray ******* Cheers for looking in and I'll be back next week in 2020.

10-18 She hasnt even acted like I bent her top! Recovered nicely. Her buds have turned upwards to welcome the light! 😁 10-19 Water, noticed some slight burn, will flush her next day or so. She looks pretty good other. Spaced some branches just just a tad. Cleanin up, while she fattens! Has a minty smell. I know Im rough, very grateful for these beans Weedseedsexpress!💚😻 Ill get my shit together! 💪🤘 .
