Hey everyone! It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball! The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56! Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle. I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now. As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box. How I built my smell free DIY dry box: Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying. This week I’ve noticed a couple of fungus gnats on site. Not so happy, but I will keep my eye on the situation.

So okay, this is the start of week 2 of plants life, as i stated in the previous week I bought a chiller with a compressor because the one that i bought previously did not work, so far had to change the bulkheads because of leaks and it seems that leaking just ended, so today i finally put some fresh water into the system and things look great. pH was 5.85, ppm 49, no juice is added yet, I'm suporting the humidity witha humidity dome over them and PPFD is 250-ish, can't adjust much, the lights i've got dont have a dimmer box , because of the lack of that some of the initial leaves did burn but eveythings nice so far. Will continue to update as I go, but for my first hydro I'm exhausted, learned a lot and wil continue to do so. Also!!!!, if someone comes by can anyone tell me WHY on earth one of my bucket fills more than the others??, i have 3 25w pumps, saame pumps distributing water and one of them is ALWAYS fuller than the others, ahd to adjust the knob that the pump has to level them out, and even after taht is not perfect.

This will be the last week i will Feed. I m keeping TDS at 400PPM and PH at 5.8. This week I took out the Silica Blast, Great White and also stoped the CO2. Also I lowered the water temp to 66 degrees. Lights on temp is between 75 and 80 degrees, lights off between 65 and 72. I’m trying to keep humidity as low as possible around 45% week 10 will be flush week.

My 2 permanent marker plants they are loving the light being turned up they are praying constantly there internodes are so close together they have not stretched out very far yet. I'm thinking they are going to be on the short end but who knows some plants do complete opposite when they hit the flower strech. I still have not gotten the nutrients down for the one plant I'm thinking when I flip to flower it will it will turn around nicely I love the shaoe and look of it's leaves. The day has come and it's time to flip these ladies to flower. I was planning on letting them go untill Friday and let the smaller ones grow just a bit more but they will be fine. I have the eternity cup contest in mind and I'm thinking timing so I need to get these lady done and out my tent lol. This past week I turned the light up alot getting them ready to flower they have grown a bunch inhavendone lst maybe 5 it 6 times on the branchs and they arw nit bendy anymore that will help durring flower.

Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨

This was a very fun plant to grow, Don’t know if I’m getting better at growing or these plants are able to deal with my slip ups 😂 they didn’t mind being topped or tied down... Out of 10 plants 9 made it 👌🏻😎 there was 31oz dry bud Id personally smoke.... and 5oz pop corn type bud that was put aside for making butter and other stuff 😏 White widow x big bud dosent lie it gets very white with big buds 👌🏻😊 win win in my eyes

I'm starting to see some serious bud development and I still have at least 4 weeks so I'm excited for what's to come.i also bought flawless finish by advanced nutrients for the last couple weeks.
