Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Removed all the new side shoots and the first set of fanleaves. Did this because I want the plant to focus all of its energy on the main stem. I dont need any new side shoots. I thought that this weekend I would flip them in to flower. But I'm going to wait some more. I want to see more height in the plants and I think that after this defoliation that hight will come quick😁🚀 PATIENCE IS KEY! On day 75 I changed the light colour from blue to red to see if this can promote some stretch before changing the lightcycle to flowering. ‼️I did not change the hours of light‼️ On day 76 it seems like there has definitely been some kind of reaction from the plants overnight. They seem to have stretched a little bit. I'll keep a close eye on em these coming days.

Week 11, As you can see with the pictures, she has some nutrient burn :( I unfortunately gave her too much nutrients. I knew this strain was sensitive to nutrients because of the 2Fast4buds strain video but I did not know what was too much or not. If I was to grow this strain again ,I would probably switch up nutrients every other watering and not every watering as I did. As a result of the burn, I used some ClearEx in hopes that the leaves will turn back to green. The plant seems to be responding well to the treatment being on 2/17 and all. My plan is to water the plant on 2/19 with only water to flush the plant some more. Hopefully by 2/22 I can give the plant some finishing bud density nutrients for a week or two and then flush time. I am nowhere near a master grower and every mistake is a learning experience :) Let me know if you have any questions/ comments/ concerns. Good luck with everybody grow! End of week 8, she is so close now!!! All I have to do is guide her through this final week of flush and hope that nothing crazy happens. All fingers and toes are crossed. Cannot wait to see the final yield on this one. I really can't even take a guess at it. I hope its large, but ya just never know.

11 weeks of flowering, 2 weeks of drying and 1 week of curing.

Hemos empezado un cultivo con semillas del banco Sweet Seeds y toda la gama de nutrientes y coco premium de Plagron. Es nuestra primera vez con coco y esta marca de nutrientes pero nos va a sorprender para bien! Primero diluimos siete gotas de seedbooster plus en un litro de agua y dejamos la semilla en esa dilución 12 horas. Esa misma agua la usaremos para empapar el papel donde pondremos a germinar las semillas. Al segundo día ya tenemos las semillas nacidas, y los líquidos de riego los haremos a un ph de 5,8 y usaremos power roots, silice rock y pure zym para cada riego con una EC de 0,5. Una vez a la semana haremos una pulverización de vita start y otro día a la semana vita race. Hacemos una dilución de estos mismos de 1 ml por cada litro de agua para pulverizar dejando bien empapadas las hojas. Vita start nos aporta un npk bajo para nuestras pequeñas y vita race le aporta hierro, de manera que con ellas conseguimos un mejor enraizamiento, ramificación y un color sano de nuestras pequeñas en sus hojas. Tendremos que ir subiendo el nivel de la Ec, ya que pecaremos de cautos en comida al no haber usado nunca coco antes.😎

Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. 12/11 At the start of Week 4 I must say everything is going good. Just got rid of an infestation of gnats and what a battle it was but between the neem oil and Foxfarm insect spray and diatomaceous earth I think I got em. Started to mainline but after talking with ppl stopped with that and just gonna go with the topping and some lst Day 31 update: had a little problem with some mite looking tanish white microscopic bugs but neem oil did the trick no site of them so far gonna keep a close eye though. As far as growth this lady has went into overdrive just growing noticeably daily I love it

Week 10! Because of the extreme heat of the last days the temps in my tent were peaking at around 38°C, so I decided to turn off the 200W CFL and keep the two 50W LEDs running. She is still doing well and will soon reach the end of her journey :)

I do not know how much the outcome is cause i have to harvest the lower part of the plant i think the tottal amoint will be around 90-100 gr. I highly recommend to all auto flowering growers ro grow this strain. She can compet with photoperiodic strains and she will eat them with their shit!!!! ))))) UPDATE: as i told u i left lower buds to rippen and now it was time to harvest i got extra 25 grs so totally it was 90 gr of dry weight now its ready to cure
