Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. I installed a PH controller but it didn't work right and only the ph up peristaltic pump is working. I will use this over my vacation as my PH drifts down naturally so this should work until i get a replacement. I watered in my gsc and other seedlings until runoff with 850 ppm heavy in nitrogen to green them up as the organic top dressing is taking too long.will see how they respond.on week 4 day 4 They are responding well to nitrogen Gsc is taking off!!!will continue nitrogen until end of this week as needed.

Those colours are so beautiful, the forbidden nectar is turning totally purple in the moment. Her orange smell is incredible. Kush Pop Clone is producing insane dense buds in these days, thed are also turning a little bit purple. dehumidifier is a must have. The Rainbow Triangle seems to be the latest plant. She also produces very nice buds

Same regime i did add rose bloom for a 1 time feed. Dug a inch or so around the root and 1 inch or so hole by the pots edge. Recovered with soil then watered. I did not like the effects tho. It made a bunch of leaves change colors like they had p and k deficiencies. Stalks and viens got red but went back to normal after another watering with just 6.3 ph water

This week went well I am continuing to harvest buds as they become ready. The leaves are yellowing more and more letting me know that she is almost complete. I think the lower bids have about one more week until they are ready and that will complete the harvest for Big Girl. Little girl is now declining, she has not branches out or grown new tops.

Pretty simple first week! Seed took 3 nights for the taproot to pop and it was planted in its final pot on day 4. On day 6, it finally popped through the soil and on day 7 the little sprout is starting to grow up. There is a small piece of seed casing left attached. Going to leave it for a day or two. I think she's done!!! She's gone very yellow during the week. Incredible frost!! Will be chopping in the next few days.

She is frosting up…i was lucky to get a seed out of her this week. I will create a separate diary for him/her. I don't get any skunk aroma maybe because it's my first time growing this strain. All i can say it doesn't smell sweet🙂

During week 8 the plants continue to grow nicely and devleop lots of side-branching and leaves. All 12 of my 'Fruity Terp'-babies have a nice healthy green color, which means the BIO NOVA nutrients are working well. I still follow the SOIL-CULTIVATION chart (at half strength of the recommended dose) when I fill up my 'FLEXITANK'-reservoir once a week with 100 liter of tap-water and add the nutrients from BIO NOVA in. The Autopot system with its 6 trays and 12 places (=2 per tray) is able to supply my 12 plants for one week from the 100 liter reservoir. The two SANlight EVO4-120 LED-fixtures are still hanging at 75 cm distance from the top of the plants and are tilted inwards by 11 degrees. This is the recommended way of hanging them and gives the PERFECT light for my Cannabis plants. At this stage I have the SANlight-lamps dimmed to 60% of power (=1 green light on dimmer ON), which is plenty of light and ensures a nice stretch at the beginning of flowering. I cant wait for the first female white hairs to appear on the babies...👊😎

Last week of Ozz! I’m getting some nice trichromes. Surprisingly, she doesn’t smell much, but she’s still beautiful. She also has the best ratio of buds to leaves out of the three plants of the same strain. I’ll start trimming Dorel by Friday and #4 this weekend to free some space. Then it’ll be Ozz’s turn on Sunday or Monday. The relative humidity levels are getting dangerously high, but the temperatures are still fine until next week. Since she’s covered, I have good hopes she’ll hold. No additional bud has rotted since two weeks ago :))

2018-03-13 Week 11 Day 1 As I mentioned last week, the girls are growing like crazy since I changed to 600W HPS,and even though they haven't grown so much higher, they are definetly wider because of LST. My growroom is only about 1.8m2, so now the girls are so wide that there's not enough space for them to get wider, so now I will let them stretch. Nr 1 is 43 cm Nr 2 is 44 cm 2018-03-14 Day 2 I LST'd the girls one last time and also defoliated them mildly so all the tops get as much light as possible, hopefully increasing the yield in the end. I also turn the girls 1/4 lap every day to ensure that all sides of them get as much exposure to light as possible, it would've been great to have some kind of turntable that turns the girls 1 lap in 12 hours,, but until I find out a device that does just that,I'll keep on doing it manually. Added some videos for you to enjoy. 2018-03-18 Day 6 Watering the girls with 2l of plain water (pH 5.8), the soil were dry after 3 days since they got water and nutes. I want to release the remaining dry nutes buried in the soil. Some of the girls got burnt leaves but not from nutes, but from the hps-lamp, they've stretched so much so I raised the lamp about 10 cm, but now I'll keep an eye on the distance between the lamp and canopy, don't want them to get burnt again. But lucky me, only leaves got burnt - no top got harmed 👍 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Strain information: The word synergy is a business term first quoted in the early eighties to describe mutual enhancement through interaction or cooperation, where the end result gained is greater than the sum of the parts used. This is a fastflowering test strain and I have no real information on the genetics. I'm guessing the flowering time of 57 days is about right for a fast flowering strain. I trimmed her after 13 days of drying and got 30g of decent solid buds and 15g of larfy buds that will go with the trim to make some hash. Power used for whole grow in 114 days. Lights=201.7Kw (201.7×0.25)(=£50.42) Rad=212.23kw (212.23×0.25)(=£53.05) 201.7÷114=1.769kw per day light average. Average 100w for veg Average 150w for flower. Light average for grow 125w. Stats for the grow. FFNA2410=42g FFNA2411=45g FFNA2412=43g Acapulco Gold=44g Expected hash from trim 28g Total=174g 174÷125=1.39g/W
