I thought the ladies would have another 2-3 weeks left in veg, but started to notice pistils forming within the last couple of days. So flower will most likely start to begin within the next week, I’m guessing I may see a couple oz per plant come harvest day. Not bad for first time grow & using autos, from what I’ve heard a lot of people do not recommend learning with autos due to how quickly their state can change depending on what you do with them. There are some things I wish now I would have done a bit different within the last couple of weeks, I can’t help but wonder how much bigger they’d be if I did not do any defoliation at all. But I have been combating flies bad and made the call to defoliate mainly for that reason. Started to cut back on veg foods and introduce flower foods and sugars to their diet. Humidity levels still at a steady decrease, aiming to have humidity down in the 30s come flower time. Will be going on vacation for a week soon, so fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. Will be having a good friend of mine come by every couple of days to FaceTime me and make sure everything is handled as well as possible when the time comes.

Managed to sex out the males this week, especially since the girls were putting out some pre-flower pistils. Moved others around a little using my potato fork and now everyone is in a much better spacing. Bummer that 2 out of 3 were males, but that's ok! The ladies that are left will have more room to stretch. I gave them a little Big Bloom and some molasses.

I've stopped giving them fertiliser and did a root flushing 4 days ago. They are looking good, smaller buds of what could have been with the correct equipment and dedication but I can't complain. I don't have a magnifying glass so I'm basing myself on the pistils to know when to harvest. I think I'll give them one more week but everyone is welcome to give me advice, would love to receive feedback from more experienced people.

Flowering day 37 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . Lord have mercy on my plant 🙏 After finding some spider mites last week I have released predatory mites. Phytoseiulus persimilis. They came in a bag with leaves and you put those leaves on the canopy. Spray the room with spider mite insecticide. I found no more spider mites and no increase in damage. Until now the damage has been very minimal, compared to pictures I see online. Just a few white spots on a small number of affected leaves. Never saw any webbing, neither on leaves nor buds. Regardless I am treating it like a big infection Oh yeah, it's almost ready, I guess? All I can think about are little spiders. Thanks to everyone for watching, and your tips and advice.

Semana 6 y media de estás nenas. El finde me fui a la playa y cuando llegue estaban muy decaídas y secas. Así que se estresaron un poco, y sufrieron una sobreferti por la misma acumulación de sales al secarse el sustrato. Le hicimos un apical a toda las nenas y hemos estado haciendo supercropping para darle fuerza a los brotes que están más abajo. Seguimos con los mismos métodos de riego, esta semana yo creo que cambiaremos de maceta a 3.5L para terminar en una de 11L o 20L vamos a ir viendo a medida que van creciendo.

All the clones have taken we have run another round of clones for practice also seem to be doing well The mother plants are growing well continue with LST and topped the remaining arms that needed topping. Now to train and get ready for flower in a couple of weeks. Also started defoliating and will defoliate / lolly pop before flower You will also see the new genetics / next grow, seedling growing amoungst the field of green.

This week in the 5x5 had some good changes! Put on some good nodes and put on some resin!!! They all 3 pretty much look the same they have good node spacing and the stems are way sticky to the touch. Monday starting off week 5 gave them a top dress of craft blend 1/4 cup mixed into the top lil bit of soil and straw bed. Handwatering each plant gets 1/4 gallon at plant base and 1 gallon spread between plants. Everything going food look happy. Wendsday plants looks like they liked the Monday treatment so proceeding as normal. Gave them 1 top. per gallon of water along with 2 top of mollases to make the soil happy and some glacier rock dust a good plop. Friday everyone looked good maybe lil strong on nutes will only water as normal for the week. Sunday end of week 5 just straight water 1 plant got lil burned like I was thinking but everyone is happy happy happy. Vivosun fan I had for 4 months died had to replace with back up fan. ~ Update ~ Hello my friends, welcome back to another weekly update. I have a few issues going on so I’ll put those below in the IPN. This has been a good week so far, the girls are very happy, except the bazar mazar… Other than that it’s exciting that I’m pretty much at the halfway point :) Anyways, enjoy the update and let me know what you think in the comments, I always appreciate feedback ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [CBD] Notes: This is the healthiest of the bunch, nice rich green leaves and fluffy buds. I’m surprised the this little mutant is doing so well. As I said in the vlog GCS got back to me last week, I’ll keep them up to date with my grow so they know what’s going on with this girl. [Mazar] Notes: Burn! I’m noticing a lot of small but noticeable spots, leaf chattering, and slight yellowing at the tip of the leaves. I feel like I should just avoid feeding this girl though I’m not sure if that will help the situation. If you guys can take a look at this girl I’d really appreciate it :) Edit: I found out thanks to my friends here on GD that I burned my Bazar Mazar :( So time for water which I might only give her water and flower fuel then flush till harvest (might be my cleanest tasting and smelling afterwards). It's hard to feed 4 different metabolisms every watering, but hey I'm learning :) [Super Silver Haze] Notes: The beast of the grow! What a lovely plant. Even though this girl got really hungry and started cannibalizing the lower leaves her buds are massive! I’m impressed with the total growth of this beast. Honestly, I’m cheering this girl on, might be my favorite (don’t tell the others). [White Widow] Notes: More like purple widow, this dense girl is showing her dark side and I like it. I planned on the purpling, still surprising to see all this purple though. I like purple buds but I don’t want this (or any of the girls) getting shocked by the cold. Hoping the I can get a few more pieces of gear to help out the next grow. ~ Final Thoughts ~ What a week, some of the girls are rocking and the Mazar, not so much :) It’s a learning experience that will take some time for me to learn how to balance all (most) of the variables. Hello, Day 29 of flower today. She is packing on some trichomes since 2-3 days and it’s getting more everyday. Buds are growing and starting to look like they should. The smell is not that strong but if you walk by the opened window you smell that there is a weed plant somewhere near. The trichomes are sticky and the smell is hyping me up like crazy. Weight was okay today, I will water again tomorrow with 6-7 Liters without added nutrients. Some bottom leaves are starting to get a yellowish colour which kinda concerns me, but I’m far away from panicking. Estimated flower time are 50-60. my light is running on 85% which is 225W / 35cm distance to the canopy. I added those extra 5% power yesterday and we will see if she likes it. Maybe I will buy additional phosphor booster, but I have to gather some information first. I the next couple days I will also get a hygrometer to check my humidity. I can’t change it but I think it’s good to know for the next grow. The temperature is measured via an infrared thermometer, leaf temp was 18°C night and 23°C day temp. Week 4, May 2 to 8/20**********Days 22 to 28 from germination********* Fighting pH with numbers of 7.1 still coming out after putting in 4.5 for days and never given over 6.1 from the start?? Its time to rule out the damn pots as the issue because there is simply nothing else left......coco with perlite flushed from the start.....feed never over 6.1?????? How is run off staying so high even after several waterings of 4.5pH. They are only three weeks when this issue became apparent. I had cut slits in the bottom of the pots to aid in further drainage???? I transplanted the Fast Buds girls into 3 gal plastic pots. They are fighting the pH issues more than the other girls and will I pick on the weaker ones.......unfortunately its these ones. Plus since GSC is a longer running strain In this grow I figured these girls may have the most time to make up from any shock. GSC went well and she came out of the fabric pot well and into the new one. They were both exactly 10” across so I cut the whole fabric pot in half with razor knife while holding together. First girl fell right down in and went okay!!!! Cool👍👍👍 GSC2 on the other hand had more of an F U attitude about it all😡 Followed the same process but she didn’t’ come right apart nicely like the first one. She fought one side of the pot and in hind sight I should have cut a plus symbol or star pattern in the bottom of the pot rather than just the one slice.......It wouldn’t give right on the bottom of the pot on one side. When it finally did the roots came up from the bottom and she was flipped inside the medium..........basically worst case scenario 🤬🤬🤬 So what can you do.......you show her some extra love❤️ and talk softly to her😚 and promise to make her healthy👊 and strong💪 and never to hurt her agian😍😍🤞 Little more detail......... May 2/20 - Day 22 - 2L feed for each girl with CalMag @ 0.5ml, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 625ppm and 5.0pH - runoff numbers: - GSC 590ppm with 7.3pH - GSC2 580ppm with 7.2pH - why so high damn it?? May 3/20 - Day 23 - 6L mixed with Vitathrive, VeloKelp, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Piranha, Voodoo @ 1ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH - 3L given to each girl. - GSC girls have perked up the last three days. - GSC2 is getting wider but not taller. - Runoff numbers: - GSC - 725ppm and 6.9pH - GSC2 - 650ppm and 6.8pH - thinking that cheap fabric pots are the issue with high pH I am going to transplant two of the four girls into plastic pots and see how that goes. - GSC transplant went well. - GSC2 transplant not so well.......she caught the edge coming out of the old pot and her root mass became all twisted😞😞😞 May 4/20 - Day 24 - dry out day and leave them alone after being so shook up yesterday. May 5/20 - Day 25 - gave a small plain water feed of 2L each with ph to 5.0 - water and left them alone again today. May 6/20 - Day 26 - Feed day again. 1.5L each for each girl with Dual Fuel, Vitathrive @ 1ml, CalMag, VeloKelp @ 0.5ml = 675ppm and 5.1pH - the girls are working through it......just give them time. May 7/20 - Day 27 - simple feed today with VeloKelp @ 1ml and Sensyzime @ 2ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH - each girl given 1L. - GSC is looking like she is fighting back and starting to see her increase in size. - GSC2 is also coming along because her dying leaves are also starting to perk up. - Did some some stem twisting on GSC to help strengthen her stock. May 8/20 - Day 28 - Dry out day - The girls are doing well with the Kelp and while they are not much bigger they look healthier! - GSC2 low branches are not sitting in soil anymore👍 Cheers Growmies........have a great week!!!!!

In the last week the water was freshly mixed with Canna Flush and an Ec of 0.4 in order to completely use up the nutrients in the last few days 👍. You can see it on the beautiful autumn yellow leaves :-). Before harvesting, the lights were turned off completely for 48 hours. After everything was neatly trimmed by hand, the buds were put into the drying tent, where they are allowed to dry for the first 8-12 days at a humidity of 62% before they ferment with 62% boveda packs in jars. After another 3-4 weeks in the glasses, the 58% boveda packs come in for the final touch :-). Of course, the final update comes from the fermented end product 👍.
