Girl Scout Cookies is one of my favourite strains, so to be able to grow this as a fem seed by RQS was a pleasure. As far as comparing to GSC, it looks, smells, tastes and grows exactly the same. I have a clone of this girl in veg so I'm looking forward to running her again but changing a couple of things. The pheno in this diary was a bit of a stretcher, but with that being said I do think I could have prevented this a bit. I'll also pinch her stems more when she's going through her stretch as I missed doing this on this girl because she kept a nice even canopy, meaning I wasn't forced to in order to even her out. She still went on to produce some nice dense cookie nugs with beautiful colouring. Her next run in flower will be under my new 315w CMH which I'm very much looking forward to! This girl has kept her place in the Fox's Den 🐺 I've enjoyed doing this diary, and all my others, on grow diaries and will continue to start more. If even one person has learned one thing from my presence on here, then that makes it all worth it in my opinion! From where I stand that's all we can do for each other our community. Because I've created 4 seperate diaries with 4 different strains, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total but only one of each strain). This is the fairest and only way to work it out properly. I also want to thank Royal Queen Seeds for creating this partnership between us and I definitely look forward to growing more of their strains. All of which will be on Grow Diaries! Wow. She grew 26cm this week. Clearly likes her new 10 litre fabric pot. From what I've seen of the pots so far I like them. She's making loads of flower sites, also note the stem abuse I've administered this week 😂 I'm trying to stress the ol' girl out a bit. No idea if it working but its all data in the memory bank! 💪 EDIT: Light settings updated to reflect current tent lighting......

Eccoci qui... Tutto va per il meglio, questa settimana non ho applicato stress alla piccola, ma ho guardato l'evoluzione che ha avuto dando i nutrienti. Ora ha un odore davvero intenso ed uno strato di resina pauroso, vediamo come si riprende dalla defogliazione che ho fatto settimana scorsa. Si sta sviluppando un bel colore viola che si riflette sulle cime come si vede dal video, OTTIMO!!! Seguiranno aggiornamenti, grazie a tutti per il supporto🔥🌲❤️

The Gas Tax x Obama Runtz plant is looking really good. It's got these super pretty leaves and it's stretched a whole bunch. I think it might be my favorite plant in the tent. The new year is off to a frosty start! We've had snow falling for what feels like forever. My kids are loving it, of course. They're building forts, having snowball fights, and turning everything into a winter wonderland. It's been a lot of fun to watch them enjoy it. All this snow is really making me think about how quickly time flies. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the holidays, and now here we are knee-deep in winter. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, but for now, I'm enjoying the quiet beauty of fresh snow.

Day 39

My light fell on my plants yesterday. , the pot of my plant in the first corner was broken, I bought it in a different pot. In my other plant, 2 branches were broken, I taped one of its branches, it became crippled.

She only grew 1cm this week. She's really charging through flowering. Trichome production has been high this week. I wish there was a way to view the pictures in hi-res on a desktop pc instead of the small window. Timelapse this week is almost useless. No input from me other than watering/nutrients.

Her buds have fattened up very nice!!! Almost all her pistols have changed colors and curled in. I hope im not to late, but this week will be her last feeding then good ol plain ph'd water until she is ready to chop. She smells so strong of cookies and cream and gas⛽ she is going to be a decent yielder but an even better smoke!!! Super easy plant to grow. Super stoked with 420 fast buds!!

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂.
