2025-10-02 The weather changed to the good- its clear and dry means short foggy mornings and then comes the sun- and stays until evening in the night its pretty cold so maybe we will see some purple?

Skipped 2 weeks didnt feel like uploading idk. Flushed them a couple days ago with a shitload of water, now will just wait for them to fade and die so i can harvest. Huge chunks all around, some minor foxtailing due to high temps that only increased the density of the buds, smell is awesome, earthy sweet i would say but not much of a connoiseur myself. I am thinking she is carrying a solid 70 grams dry.

Still in veg, gonna flip this week .. so far so good , im going to give her a good defoliation, then flip ...I feel like she's gonna be a big girl... God bless and happy growing ✌️

the weather is just wonderful at the moment. i'm happy to be growing it so early in the year. it's branching out like crazy and the first flower buds are already appearing. let's see how much higher it will go. once again, i'm totally convinced by the FAST BUDS genetics.

Welcome to my Garlic Cookies Diary sponsored by Pure Instinto. Last wk 13 Ripening SF-1000 Days 92-98 Flower Day 26-32 flowering 50 or so Days. With IR every wk until the last. The process sped up by a 1.5/2 wks with 70hrs extra light over those 40 days. 1.5 during pre and 2 hrs up until now. Only when I check the trichs at the start of the wk. I seen how ripe was. As I was going off pistils and by breeder days rec for flowering. Not taking into account how much faster IR adds to your extra DLI. buds are rock hard. Not huge. But man, they're like rocks. Flushed last wk. And she threw herself into end of life. So, she a holding on. She was on heavy syns at the end of her life and finishers that have, have to be washed from the bud. I put under my SF1000 the last few days. To soften the blow she was getting from such a high co2/temp environment last wk. She was given a hard flush the start of this week. Myth about flushing or not. The stuff I was using. YOU HAVE TO FLUSH, so, she's been on water the past week. And believe it or not. I flushed the 1st time. Got it down to my tap ppm by 20L and threw the top on for good mes. Day 94 when she dried out. Ran 1L through her. Ppm was 600. Reflushsed, and only the last few days. Her leaves are given in. There's still nutrients left though. She got tested was still 250 yesterday. So, flushed again. And she's getting pult in a few hrs. As always. My diaries will be a few weeks behind so I can get a cure and test. And only then do I fairly rate. Thanks to Pure Instinto. And to all who viewed this diary. Harvested Decided to pull her. She's fully done. Took the 2nd set of her nodes, rough trim & put to quick dry with the plant itself hang drying in shit weather 19-21.5c so she got fully watered before harvest and the RH is kept high at 65-70 to prolong the dry. There is a risk of mold. But with the heat an contest air exchange, its unlikely. Has a lovely cookies sweet smell with a bit of dankness. Also, a floweree smell. Which will go when dried. Really glad so far, even with my high temperatures, now knowing how to dry in summer, I've yet to get any hay smell, (signs the dry went badly against your quality of bud) can be rid of in a long cure but, and early signs of it. Still has an affect on strength. Read the process as something breaks down for it to get like that. And once it happens, there's no getting the potency level back. But, the smell yes. After 2-4 months, depending on the servaity of the hay smell. Here, I'm not sure what will happen yet. It also smells mellow skunky but will check again tomorrow it may have been terps overload on my fingers regarding thunder and pink paradise aromas. Pink caylaxes have shriveled and accepted pollen locations. I just don't think the seeds will be ready when harvesting in a few weeks. Start week 5 tomorrow and I don't think crosses will be ready so I will figure it out. Pink crosses would be fun next round but I have so many more selections to choose from to grow my next 4.Thunder smells like a citrus cleaner, almost pineapple front notes then a full citrus. day35 defoliated like madd. no lie so sticky: 2 fingers lifted a ceramic cup like I was spiderman. 1 finger was a struggle.. science

Had a small issue this week where temp dropped a bit, I was on vacation for a few days and a window got left open to the room the tent is in. The room got down to 62f with the lights on. lights off temp wasn't much cooler. I noticed some canoeing on leaves near the center of the room, I am hoping this was just caused by the temperature stress that happened by the sudden drop. I fixed the temp and issue and it should be back to normal. Trichome's look great under microscope. Getting tightly packed and very cloudy, very little amber color at this point. Cheese #1 Has swelled up quite a bit over the last 5 days, The buds on it are noticeably larger than the ones on Cheese #2 I have moved the led light to cast more on cheese #2 in hopes to get the buds on it to catch up to #1 Still dealing with small calcium deficiencies, I will do a light flush this week of 1/2 strength nutrients and Cal at 6.5 Mid Weekupdate: Flushed plants with 1/3rd nutrient dose and full strength cal mag. Adjusted ph. to 6.5 to allow for better uptake of calcium. The calcium issue isnt bad just some small spotting but I am trying to get ahead of it as there is supposed to be 4 weeks left on the strain. The buds have started to tighten and get more dense. Hairs are about 40% red, some are receding into the bud. Smells like citrus.

Missed couple weeks of updating. Apologies. K. Had to move the lady back under my homemade lights. The store bought just kept her trying to bunch up. Needed light through, didn't want to defoliate too much and she resisted opening up. She would actually straighten out the wire reaching for the SB. Sooo, I spread my homemade apart more. I put her back under my direct wire, switchable lights, 5 settings from 2700k-5000k, 6 t8 tubes, 1800 lumens each. Gave her a couple days. She opened right up for me. The SB light high intensity, she was bushy, even after opening up, so at week 3, under homemade, she got some defoliation. Learning more about light. I kept a minimal distance from top, center cola, to reduce it's stretch and allowed the trained limbs to catch up to it. Now @12" from center cola, about 16" from rest of plant and light covers the entire plant. Using 1000w for her babies (clones.) They like it. Using soil. And reading more. Prolly didn't need all the nutes I was giving. Doing well on 1nce weekly fish fertilizer and once weekly Gen Hydro Flora Series mixed for flower. The rest is ph'ed water. Ozarka got expensive. Tried GV spring water. Has near 300 ppm, Ozarka <30. GV pH near and sometimes 10+. Ozarka 8.3 max. GV needs more pH down and it will rise again. I pH let set, then pH again. Pretty sure it's mostly calcium, since it's source is heavy with limestone. Calcium also appears to be a buffer. Ozaka's 8.3 mostly from the calcium, but ph's easily and holds well. Mixing = parts can get a ppm of 160 and pH of 8.7-9. then pH down. Saves a little money and some extra calcium. K done for the week. Bye, y'all.
