Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10. I was able to flush 2ice last week and I hope to flush 2ice this last week. I noticed the pictures aren't quite as clear/light as last weeks. I turned down the lights to 70% last week and 60% this week. The buds are as big as I want them and the leaves were going yellow so I turned down the lights to relive some light and heat stress on the plants. With 1 week to go I think everything will be fine. The plant are doing great. Nice big buds, stock strong enough to hold them up. There is some color change on some leaves on plant #2 to purple and the buds have a purplish tinge to all the plants. The smell has calmed down some. Not quite the strong acidic fruity smell there was. Just a candy fruity smell now. So good to go for harvest in about 8 days. Good to go? Chuck.

For the last day of the year we treat ourselves to the story of a special little girl. Her name is Biscotti, her name already says it all about the potential of this young girl born in Holland with this beautiful Italian Strain Name, she is precious and full of style since conception. She looks like she was designed by Pininfarina who smokes joints. It's a bit as if Gianni Versace had dressed her, extravagant, provocative, truly flamboyant, if you have the patience to look at the thousand photos that I made clear that I literally couldn't stop taking. It's a journey I don't want to leave, especially when I'm in the middle of it. terpenes, please leave me there! She grew up quietly, with her small internodal distance you could see that she was beautiful even without flowers, but it was when she flowered that she truly gave her best. Already from the first weeks of flowering you can understand very very well that the girl has a bright color and she threw resin very early thanks to Power Buds, Sugar Royal and Green Sensation in my opinion. The flowers have an imposing shape, they really are beautiful little purple beasts just in the dry room, for a few days soon we will do an initial test and then we will wait to taste it without too much fresh taste. I’m about sure to have rated 10 stars the strain and all feeding 5 stars but i found the strain rated 9 stars and the feeding 4, not sure but almost sure. I often get sad when I cut it, I'm too sad to cut it, I always think I'll smoke it and everything, but it's so beautiful that it makes my heart ache to cut it. It's her life cycle, otherwise she would rot for goodness sake, it's a joke but I really have a moment of shock in her heart. She'll move on to the first vaporized one I guess. Technique used - She was worked with a. single topping cut but leaving the two branches lower than the cut, thus obtaining 4 main branches with the relative branches. I also did a bit of LST at the beginning but having space problems then I decided not to let it expand too much. Flowers are beautiful beasts for truly yummi. Fertilizers - We have to make a special mention of Plagron I wrote a review in this diary which only partially explains how good this line of fertilizers is. I feel like I saw with my own eyes the changes in the plants when I gave the additives, I really saw the plants push in resin and everything. For more information read the review, I don't like to be repetitive, I don't write the quantities, they are also in the diary and in any case very similar to those recommended by the manufacturer. Never exceed this with any fertilizer and always flush. Light and home - The light was provided by MarsHydro and the home as well, it is the SP 3000, a piece that is not of the latest generation but which I love for its length of around 110 cm which you can understand how it covers me super well, the 120 wide wide grow room cm, 60cm deep and 180cm high, always supplied by them with a better than average covering by a lot and fantastic windows from which to spy on the girls. Die Woche war sehr gut, ich habe am 21.7. Entlaubt und das hat den Pflanzen sehr gut getahn erst recht die genetisch fehlerhaften Pflanzen haben das gut angenommen. Dann habe ich das erste mal gedüngt, weniger als hersteller Angaben und mit Madame Grows pre flower booster mal sehen was der kann wird 2 bis 3 mal in der vor Blüte benutzt...mal sehen😎 The week was very good, I have on 21.7. And that has done the plants very well, especially the genetically defective plants have accepted this well. Then I fertilized the first time, less than manufacturer information and with Madame Grows pre flower booster let's see what it can be used 2 to 3 times in the pre-flower... let's see😎

So I had a little less nutrient last week then i needed. Def a calcium deficiency. I think it's clearing up but this plant has spot all over it. I changed the water, gave it the right amount of nutrients and a little exra hydrated lime for calcium. Hydro is hard. I hoping It's not sick. I hope It doesn't get the other plants sick. Just a few weeks left.

This plant was not to bad in terms of lst needs and defoliating needs as much as the other ones. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through. Finally some decent growth after i bought another lamp (150w hps) and lollipopping the plant, today is the day i switch to 12-12 ! Wish me luck hahah

SO..........................the girls are doing okay. I can only expect so much, given they're in 5 gals (except for LB), and half of them didn't get a good start. It's a nice experiment, for comparison sake. I don't think there's any bad plants here (of course, I don't think there are any bad plants ANYWHERE, EVER), just some early bloomers and some that still need some time. I've been feeding them with Tiger Bloom and a seaweed/kelp additive, and they've had two doses now of guano for top-dressing. Now I'm running out of room, should've planned better and left more room at the top of the bags. Never again with the 5 gals, they're great for indoor but way too restrictive for outdoor even way up here in Maine. I just finished LST again and they're looking pretty funky, but it's getting the desired result. GLad I kept some of them straight and didn't top, I want to see the difference in the end between nature's architecture and my twisted mess. SO far, so good, but I'm a little worried about the Ph. Again, my solution is good (around 6- 6.3), but my medium still comes in at 7 even. Great buffering shit, but I really need to acidify the soil a bit more. I've got some PhDown, but I'm worried that if I drop the solution too low I'll burn the plants. On the other hand, it doesn't seem to have much of an effect so far at 6.... 7/31 Update: Gave the ladies another round of bat guano, 2 lbs. spread hroughout a dozen plants. Kinda worried that I used too much, but the first applications weren't enough so we'll see. Yesterday gave 'em a feeding of Tiger Bloom, today I watered the guano in with well water that I adjusted (using PhDown) to a reasonable 6.5. A good dry day, bright too, they should soak it up good today!

8/12 - Dropped 4 seeds into RO water to germinate 8/13 - Placed seeds into re-hydrated peat pellets soaked in Extreme Serene then placed on heat mat to complete germination. 8/14 - All four seeds have sprouted! I have 100% germination. I watered w/ a little RO water and molasses and placed back in tent. 8/15 - Three of the four seeds already have their true leaves and have stretched so much that they HAVE to be planted! I prepared four 1-gallon pots with Roots Organics Original soil and added 1 cup of Bad Bunny nutrients and mixed well. I topped it with Mosquito Bits for added BTI for pest prevention. Finally, I wet the pots down with RO water and Organic Black Strap Molasses. Then planted the four seeds and placed them in the 4x5 tent. I placed a humidity dome one the one that still does not have it's true leaves to keep in moisture. 8/16 - The last of the Purple Microdots has sprouted her true leaves so I have removed her dome. I sprayed them lightly again today with RO water and molasses.
