Folder 13 β€” Blue Waffle β€” Pheno A Week 1 Vegetation β€” The First Steps Into Project Blue Welcome back, growers! With the germination phase now behind us, it’s time to begin documenting the first true week of vegetative growth for the Zamnesia Tent project. This run is slightly different from my previous diaries, as it combines four genetics growing side-by-side inside a dedicated ecosystem built around Zamnesia equipment and Plagron nutrients. For easier tracking and because GrowDiaries limits the number of photos per update, each plant is being documented individually from seed to harvest. This allows a closer look at how each phenotype develops over time, even when they share the exact same environment. Blue Waffle Pheno A is the first plant stepping onto the stage. βΈ» The Environment This week was all about creating a stable foundation. The tent is running under the Zamnesia ecosystem, maintaining temperatures around 26Β°C with relative humidity averaging 71%, creating a comfortable environment for young seedlings. Lighting was intentionally introduced stronger than many growers might expect. The LED was set to 27% output, drawing approximately 86 watts from the wall, resulting in a measured PPFD of roughly 250 Β΅mol/mΒ²/s at canopy level. Some growers prefer starting lower, but part of this project is observing how modern genetics respond when provided with a slightly stronger light intensity from the beginning. Air movement was provided by: * Extraction fan: Level 5 * Circulation fan: Level 4 Both settings provided enough airflow to keep the environment stable without placing unnecessary stress on the young seedlings. βΈ» Feeding Strategy Although the seedlings spent their first days receiving only rainwater, this week also marked the introduction of their first nutrient solution. The feeding program consists of: * Plagron Hydro A * Plagron Hydro B * Plagron Hydro Roots Mixed to: * EC: 1.53 mS/cm * pH: 5.96 * Solution temperature: 24.2Β°C The objective is not aggressive feeding but rather preparing the plants for the transition into coco while encouraging healthy root development from the beginning. βΈ» Preparing The Next Home One of the biggest milestones this week happened outside the plant itself. The Plagron Premium Grow Bags were filled and hydrated in preparation for next week’s transplant. Rather than flooding the coco all at once, hydration was performed slowly using a reservoir-fed drip system. This gradual approach allows the coco to absorb moisture evenly and expand naturally throughout the grow bag. Only distilled water was used during this hydration process. The seedlings themselves remain in their starter containers for now, but next week they will make the move into their final coco environment and begin the next chapter of development. βΈ» Blue Waffle Pheno A Despite being only a week into vegetation, Pheno A is already showing a personality of her own. The first true leaves displayed a small cosmetic imperfection early on, but it appears to have been nothing more than a minor developmental quirk. All subsequent growth has emerged clean, healthy, and well formed. What stands out most at this stage is the structure. Internodal spacing remains very tight, producing a compact and efficient growth pattern. The plant is currently progressing into its third leaf set while maintaining a low profile and excellent symmetry. The stem remains sturdy relative to its size, while the new growth shows a healthy green coloration without signs of nutrient stress. At this stage there are no concerns whatsoever. Instead, this phenotype gives the impression of a seedling focused on building a solid foundation before accelerating upward growth. Sometimes the strongest plants are not the ones that sprint out of the gate. They are the ones that quietly build themselves correctly from the start. Blue Waffle Pheno A is currently giving exactly that impression. βΈ» Looking Ahead Next week should be significantly more eventful. The planned transplant into the hydrated Plagron coco grow bags will introduce a completely new root environment, and it will be interesting to see how Blue Waffle Pheno A responds to the increased space and the fully hydroponic feeding strategy. For now, the mission remains simple: Healthy roots. Stable growth. Strong foundations. Everything else comes later. βΈ» Thank You A huge thank you to everyone following along and supporting these diaries. Special thanks to: * Zamnesia for the genetics, equipment, and support that made this project possible. * Plagron for providing the nutrition and growing media used throughout this run. * The GrowDiaries team for providing a platform where growers can share, learn, and inspire one another. * And most importantly, the entire growing community whose knowledge, curiosity, and willingness to help keep pushing this hobby forward. The journey is only beginning. See you next week for the first transplant and the next chapter of Blue Waffle Pheno A. Growers Love and Keep growing πŸŒ±πŸ’™πŸ

Day 28 and we are in flower !!!. The Purple monkey have really accelerated their growth this last week and have been building flowers for the past 3 days. They are all really healthy looking with nice strong limbs to support the upcoming fruits. There are 2 different phenotypes by the look of them with #3 being slightly different to the other 2 . I have been gently shaping them towards the pots edges without stunting their growth too much vertically. They are very long limbed from their stretching and the nodes lengths are a fairly medium distance from each other so won't be forming donkey di#$s buds but should have some very nice cluster buds with their overall indica leaning sides. At around 18 inches tall and still stretching, these girls could be great yielders. No signs of any issues at all with the addition of the sumo boost which will support the flowering cycle but won't stop the stretch as other boosters can do. this means I can use it from the start of flowering. Banana mash have spent the week stretching past rhe tries and opening up for light. They are a little behind the Monkey girls but are showing starts of flowers now. Their limbs are a lot less solid than the other strain too with a loose limbed appearance more like a bush. 2 of them have been set in a more splayed out mainline approach to keep them low and get the lowers into the canopy too .i have included some pics of the lst to show howbi did itThey have a lot of potential mains now that the apical dominance has been broken. hopefully a ring of buds should form on them both now. the #1 is more natural with a topping only to stop her getting too tall. She has some nice mains forming now too. The Mutant Banana is a really odd lady. she has so many growth tips close together in her bunched up appearance. She is starting to stretch now so will finish quite good I think. I have been growing out 2 seeds that came from previous grows of exotic strains. sadly the pollen "donated " came from another breeders strain but hit most of the crop on a couple of buds so gave me seeds. i am testing a couple out with this run so include them for their exotic connections. The mango cream X is doing brilliant and had to be supercropped over into an s shape to hold her down a little. def female so far and growing very quickly. The Exotic ? is just starting her real growth now but will be a squat lady by the look of her so far. no idea which she is but will be an interesting grow out for fun. The fact that one went into flowering already is a good sign of an auto genetic at least. So there we have it growmies another week done and exciting times ahead in flower. be a safe and well.

End of week 10 - Day 70 / 35 of flower Another good week at the parlour. A lot of hours spent in the tent yoyo-ing the biggest colas. Half way through the week nearly all of them had fallen over so I had a full evening trying to make some space and hanging them up. I messed up a feed at the beginning of the week and over fertilised them with PK which can be seen on some leaves. For the last 3 feeds they've been on only 0.5ml per litre to try and reverse a bit of the damage. After today they come off PK completely and onto the BioGreen X-Blast. Obviously with this being my first grow I have nothing to properly compare too just other diaries. Only 1 or 2 of my friends grow their own medicine but regardless I've never seen weed like this (in person) in my life. The frostiness is next level. Even with the lights on you can see just how many Trichomes these have produced. It's looking like they will only need another 3 weeks. Plan is to carry on following the feed chart for for another 2 weeks and if I see any signs of cloudy Trichs I'll start to flush them untill they are 50/50 cloudy and amber. I really hope these keep going strong. I just cant wait untill I can pack a bong and take a rip of my very own home grown weed!

This week went well. The Jelly Rancher plant was getting big enough to move to a bigger pot (1 gallon fabric pot). It may have been able to stay in the Jiffy Pot a little longer but figured I'd get it done with a few others I was transplanting. The roots looked great, the plant seemed nice and strong.

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully πŸ‘. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately πŸ‘. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned. Welcome back to my indoor grow with the beautiful White Skunk Automatic from White Label. In week 4, she started to grow faster and taller…finally ! The temperature in the grow room got a little lower and the plant seems healthy. This week I startet with LST to expose more light to the side branches. Hopefully she will respond good to it. Keep in touch ! Cheers, HighZenBerg
