Was away for 2 weeks so left my girl to water the plant, wanted to do the training myself. Was underwatered a bit and a lil low on calmag and high on other nutes so adjusted the water and just gave a first proper feeding. Defoliated quite a bit, topped her as well and did some LST. Lets hope she recovers fast and is looking better by next week!

Woche 7 Blüte Woche 3 Die Money Maker lässt sich mit der Umstellung viel zeit. Die Wurzeln entwickeln sich auch weiterhin gut auch wenn sie nicht Weiß sind und im Eimer das Wasser auch mal knapp wird, Sie trinkt sehr viel. In dieser Woche habe ich an der Money Maker wenig gemacht außer das ich die Dünger Komponenten auf die nächste Phase der Blüte geändert habe. Voodoo, Tarantula, Piranha und Bud Ignitor habe ich abgesetzt und B-52 und Tasty Terpenes zum Dünge Schema aufgenommen. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !! Welcome to Week 1! On Day 1 after breakthrough, they both got 300 ml water each close to the plant, amended with 4ml/L of Rootjuice and 2 ml/L of Activera, both BioBizz. On Day 4 after breakthrough, they both got 500 ml water each, close and a bit spread out, same dosage of nutes. In my last grow i used 2ml/L of rootjuice but biobizz upped the dosage on the schedule so i thought why not try it out. They receive around 300 ppfd of light, 18 hours a day, ~20 DLI Temps are a bit low for my taste but its winter here and my SO likes to keep the window open, much to not only my plants dismay, but mine too lol. Didnt measure height cause i filled up a bit of soil after their initial little germ stretch Ill post the timelapse and some more pics at the end of this week. Another week gone for these 2 girls, they are looking very good and strong, getting some lovely autumn colours coming on the one at back so think she will be down soon. Will start to check trichomes on her next few days, as for the other one she’s just starting to fill out now, keeping the feed going for another week or so. Amazed by the amount of thc that’s on the girl looking forward to getting her down and trying her. Happy growing🌱
