Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Shaman zeigt seit ca 7Tagen Ansatz für Blüte, das 2. fimmen hat anders funktioniert als das erste mal. Dennoch hat es funktioniert, einige Arme bilden weiter Nodien aus. Alle samt gehen Weiter in den Stretch. Das Ameisen Problem hat sich geregelt. Habe Speisfässer untergestellt und gieße täglich beide großen Pflanzen mit ca 10-15l Wasser. Sehr zufrieden bis jetzt, bis dato keine femis gehabt die Mitte des Jahres in Blüte gehen!

This week is really important for me as I changed the light to 12 Hours. It’s time for the Fruit Spirit to get into flowering. I am a little worried as the leaves look strange. The Blue Cheese Automatic is almost ready to harvest. Looks like this full moon will be the last. It smells amazing 🤩 3G growing strong 💪

Start of week 7 day 43. All nutrients have been stopped and 1 week of finale only. The girls are packing on some weight and filling out nicely. Buds are very dense.

The plant continues to grow and the buds seem to be getting bigger but still without pistils and it seems to have micro seeds and the smell is very strong and reminiscent of oranges

With the seeds of the next cycle already germinating in cups of water it was time to harvest the Northern Light Automatic by Royal Queen Seeds. She was moved outside the tent and was given a full hand trim. The entire process took about three hours. As opposed to the Sherbet Queen of last run, the Northern Light was trimmed wet. Drying conditions are 23°C and between 50-60% humidity. She still smells a bit like hay on the second day after harvest, nowhere near dry. On the third day after harvest, the hay smell is stronger. More information once she's dried sufficiently. Ofcourse, I will then also share her dry weight. After some consulting our peer group came up with a range between 65-90 grams. What is YOUR guess?

We driving into Week no.6 here So far im still on love with this Strain. @Divine_Seeds have done here a very great Job! This Strain is by far one of the best Strains i ever grew! She is resistent of mold and all other pests. She loves to get training! She loves quality nutes! She loves quality Lights and Sun! And she loves when it is a little colder as usually! Hola que tal? yo me he levantado en domingo a las 08:30 me he tomado un café y me pegado un bongazo de aúpa jaja después, musica y hacerles una sesión de fotos a las plantitas 😇👌🏽 Pues hoy es el último día de la 7ª semana de floración, veo a 3-4 plantas listas para cosecha. Esta semana en los directos de twitch usaremos la lupa para ver el punto de maduracion de los tricomas. Deciros que estoy muy sorprendido con las Harlequin CBD ya que están sacando unas porras muy interesantes con aromas súper inciensados, son plantas mega compactas ideales para espacios pequeños y súper productivas!! vaya tela! Una de ellas está súper oscura y tiene mitad planta color verde mitad morada/negra de locos. Sobre las mimosa pues más de lo mismo, más resina, más cogollos, más aroma y plantas muy fáciles de llevar sinceramente... Los colores morados rojizos y naranjas que están sacando me encantan Que deciros de la Mimosa GB que mutó y desarrolló Fasciacion en una de sus ramas satélite. Da cierto miedo ver el cogollo parece que me vaya a engullir jjajjjaja 90 dias desde que se empezaron a germinar son semillas de gbstrains bajo los leds de gblightning y abonadas con boom nutrients todo gracias a @gbthegreenbrand @growbarato

Las flores aparecen y las plantas se estiran, algunas son mas altas que los tutores, se puede ver en una foto, también dejo video de los luxes que tiene cada planta, solo agua y todo bien, el sistema de bandeja funciona correctamente. Una foto a principios de la semana y el resto a finales.

Hi guys sorry for a late post this week. So started flushing all the plants now and they all.smell.amazing and getting some nice colours coming thru. Really frosty buds on these autos and really impressed so far.

Here we are at the beginning of week 3 and the babies are thriving :). This Cherry Cola is growing well and things are as i would expect at the end of week 2/start wk3. I’m going to be starting LST at some point this week .

12 septembre 2025 il ya 1 semaine,des fortes raffales de vents ont endomagé 2 ou 3 branches sur chaque plante. j'ai du mettre des tuteurs et les fixateurs...

Día 20!!! Estamos en el punto de comienzo de la 4 semana de floración ! Esa en la que notamos como el cultivo nos da el cambio que queremos y a partir de los dos vemos como Nuestras flores evolucionan de una manera u otra dependiendo de clima,genética,nuestra mano con ella etc.. Vamos a comenzar la media floración bien cargados con la paleta de nutrientes alta en potasio y nitrógeno! Siempre añadiendo también,nuestras mañanas de agricultor. Tuve el fallo de abrir el tupper de lombrices y echarlas a el cultivo y no poderos grabar el proceso. Fue algo rápido que hice con el armario apagado..lo tuve que iluminar por un minuto para añadir la bola de lombrices unas 60!!! La siguiente tanda de flores si empezara a sacarle provecho a estas amigas!! Deciros que el cambio en altura es muy grande no para aún de crecer! Y las últimas están engordando mucho las flores a pesar de el corto periodo se ve que nuestra selección de amnesia haze,es un fenotipo muy especial.. Es de unas 8 semanas de floración y muy buena productora! Día 21 Primer día de la cuarta semana de floración tenemos una escalera Desde la puerta del armario hacia el fondo tenemos alturas que van 54cm/62cm/71cm/80cm Gracias a el control individual en altura de cada luminaria iré trabajando con el control de dividir el área en tres Alturas diferentes,así lo requiera cada planta. Una pequeña planta que está cerca de una rendija de ventilación tuvo unas pequeñas picaduras de tips”. Observaré si no es de un periodo anterior de antes del fumigado.. Si no es así trabajaré un poco de jabón potásico y ajo! De momento el olor es muy sutil. Algunas flores empiezan a producir resina de manera temprana. Dia 22 Va todo sobre ruedas,un verde lima en las hojas,las puntas tensas y bien firmes esperando el regado de mañana! Una humedad de un 55% en el armario,cerrándolo con un 59% una vez echo el seguimiento,inspecccion de este en el día de hoy. Seguimos con una semana de humedad en el exterior del 90% y toda una semana por delante de más lluvias. Seguiremos controlando la humedad como hasta ahora con los riegos. Guardo paciencia en las plantas que aún no llegaron a la red,para poder tener un control visual de todas las puntas! Me alegra ver la cantidad de flores que están produciendo por casi todas partes de la planta y la resina que empieza a producir alrededor de estas,es un gran fenotipo de amnesia haze,con gran rendimiento productivo de flores y resina. Todo un hacierto para quienes buscan genes de sativa bien marcados con un corto periodo de floración. Día 24 Primero felices fiestas y feliz navidad a todos. Mi pequeño jardín de pinos 🌲 jejejej está estos días espectacular,ya comienza a afinar el olor ese toque a madera recién cortada y ese fondo de lima tan característico de las haze,aaag que rico olerá en las siguientes semanas buen fenotipo y no es el más oloroso.. Esta semana la humedad ronda 65% después de un riego que fueron 60litros,más de un litro por planta!. Justo lo que va necesitando para esta etapa de formación y engorde de flores… espero que en los siguientes días vuelva mejor clima también a esta zona ya que estos días de agua fueron nefastos para la interacción de aire de el exterior..no ayudaban a reducir la humedad. Deciros que el riego se aplicó el día 23. Con una EC1300 PH6,3. Una de las 44 en el último riego sufrió un poco de sobrefertilizacion,mostrando está un poco de color en el tallo,rojizo. Solo una quedó más pequeña,siendo esta 52 cm. 🏴‍☠️ Dia 25 Todo perfecto,las plantas están al 100x100 Un color perfecto,las hojas tensas y cojiendo volumen como es debido. Ya solo queda mantenerlas,y que no sufran ninguna carencia nutritiva ni exceso de esta. Dia 26 Último riego de la cuarta semana de floración. Esta vez adaptando el riego subiendo la EC de 1400 a 1700. En la siguiente semana ya trabajaremos con una EC de 2000,si es que la planta lo permite ya que con la EC de la tabla no me convence. El PH sube a 6,3 y se mantendra entre 6,2/6,3 en el sustrato. El siguiente riego será otro con carga de azúcares y aminoácidos. Intercalando riego sí y riego no el PK 50-30. Hoy me sorprendió mucho lo definido que es el olor con la humedad ambiental exterior,teniendo la puerta abierta salía un rico aroma que gana más en madera que lima 🍋‍

July 20: smoke arrived this morning to go with our heat wave. Awesome. Starting force flowering this evening. Will put plant in dark garage for 12 h darkness for a couple of weeks to initiate flowering. Already started flowering, but I really want to force it along to improve bud quality by having the buds ripen under stronger sun. In dark garage by 9 pm followed by 730 nm far red light and then out at 7 am. The far red light is a bloom booster because it initiates dark mode 2 h faster and is like getting a 26 h day. So, 10 h in garage plus 2 h from far red light is 12 h darkness and 14 h of daylight. Rock on. July 21: obvious stretch from overnight in the hot garage. Recorded as 14 h daylight with overnight temp listed as 24 C but it was easily 30 C when going into garage. Hot and smoky. Anyway, lots of misting and watering and seems to be doing great. Addded bloom nutes in top dressing at end of last week. July 22: still too hot but she’s still managing to grow. Now up to 40”. July 25: now 44” so four inches in three days. July 26: notably large stretch overnight probably grew another inch. This Blueberry Pie was always neck and neck with my other photoperiod, but she is pulling ahead in height now that flowering is starting. So far so good. Windy today and the plant was catching too much. Defoliated fan leaves in the middle so it’s not so much of a sail. Don’t really want o be removing fan leaves, but was best option. In ground or a bigger bag are not options so gotta make it work. Worth it to be able to move around in pursuit of direct sun. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds
