Killer week. The BA x SD is just a monster. Topped at the 5th on day 15 and continues to branch out so fast. Now the WWK had a serious problem growing into the Kind Soil and got burnt up but she still has a decent growth rate. She was topped at the 3rd and cleared of the first node. All new growth is looking green and healthy so that's past us hopefully. I added some eye hooks to my autopot for the future training on the BA x SD.

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

We will start to check the tricomes next week but i think that some more time is needed, the buds are nice and fat and have a tremendous smell, great strain, specially if you like something easy to grow, its really a pleasure growing this strain, i took some monster crops some weeks ago and have a separate diary for these 😁

DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. I am hoping to keepnot at bay during the low and slow dry after trimming wet this time. I will update their yield ect once they finish. Pics dont do them justice and they smell so sweet. We are on week two of flowering and the ladies are loving it .. we defoliated and pulled some branches around increasing air movement and light penetration.. The cheese has been a little picky .. lighter on the nutes and doesn't like training very well..The team @seedsmen seeds have bomb genetics and I can't wait to stArt my next seedsman diary sooo good ..keep an eye out for week three ..

Checkout my Instagram @smallbudz to see the Small budget grow setup for indoor use, low watt, low heat, low noise, step by step. 07/12/2019 - Fed her 2l of 6.5PH water with 0,5ml of each Grow, Bloom, Max and Alga-mic, and 1ml of each Heaven and Vera,noticed about 10% run off, also added a green filter to the camera lens. Adjusted the light distance to 55cm again it was toooo close about 32cm. 10/12/2019 - Decided to go back and check the basics, removed led strip to give a proper 'night' time, changing light cycle to 20/4h no more 'exotic' 22/2h, re-checked the light distance every 2 to 3 days to ensure 60-45cm and I can tell all ready she is loving it. Also added home made Co2 made with 1 tsp of yeast, 3/4 tsp of sugar 700ml of warm water in a 1l bottle with a tiny pin hole on the cap. 11/12/2019 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.5PH water with 0,5ml of each Grow, Bloom, Max and Alga-mic, and 1ml of each Heaven and Vera,noticed about 10% run off. 12/12/2019 - 8 weeks have passed and no flowers I guess I'm flipping to 1212h to see if she reacts.
