Not been a bad week and we’ve had some great weather, this weather is also predicted for next week too. Earlier on in the week I noticed some trails on the plants leaves so I had to ask you lovely lot what was going on. I have leaf miners, I have sorted the problem on after you told me what it was and I have had no problems since. I have decided to use nutrients this week using plant magic root stimulant and cal-mag I have been using this every other day with just plane water when not using nutes. I have noticed by doing this that my plants have really come on loads. Topping my plants last week caused no issues and in my opinion they never even noticed I had done it 😂 So all in all a very good week, let’s hope for another easy week next week.

This lady is so tall and her colas are getting too heavy. We had a bit of rain and wind mid-week and she could hardly stay up... one cola actually broke off! I'm trying to get another two weeks out of her. Fingers are crossed. It's a blustery day today and I'm a bit nervous! She's not ripe yet... I don't want a 'preemie' on my hands.

Week 3 for AK Triple Haze by supersativaseedclub, This girl in the natureslivingsoil is absolutely exploding for her age, she got 2 heavy doses of water this last week. I think she will be massive by next week if this growth stays up at this rate. 😍 Getting some nice long side branches still with no LST. Another one of those strains that every time i open the tent she's done some growing 😂

Morning of day 14- tops look dry but it’s just the very surface. They took a little longer than I wanted to dry out. The weather has been cold windy and rainy, not much sun lately, and we are still about a month away from our potential last frost date. Farmer’s Almanac says last frost date is May 30th or something crazy, even though the days are normally rather warm by now. I haven’t fed as of Day 14 because they are not dry enough, there is plenty of amendments in the pot, especially towards the bottom, except I will still spoon feed a little bit. I just rehydrated the tops as they were really dry at least 1-2 inches of the tops were dry, but the bottoms are still plenty wet, so with clean water in a spray bottle, I just lightly rehydrated the top a lil, so I might be feeding tomorrow for day 15, but I don’t know yet. Keeping the tent around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and only about 25-30% RH. This helps me compensate for the lack of heat provided by the LEDs and help the plants adapt to a higher water demand. I haven’t seen the low humidity effect the seedlings, intact all the plants that grow outside in the hot bone dry climate LOVE IT! They were praising all last year. So to help keep me away from damping issues and to better prepare the little ones for the outdoors, I’m trying to match a hot and dry environment in the tent. With VPD levels way up in the red, I have yet to experience a negative impact. I have damped off enough plants in my life, it’s a lot harder for me in 60-70%RH to water the plants and get them to dry out fast enough in the tent with cold LEDs.

Harvest Week. I hope all my North American friends had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. I harvested on Tuesday, so due to Thanksgiving prep. I'm late posting the harvest report. Apollo is a wonderful plant to grow. She stayed short. I tried to lst by tying down. Apollo limbs pushed up the pins many times. She is strong and resilient. After watering only 2 liters with Vit B, Recharge and Signal yesterday, I put her in the 3#x3tent in the dark. The leaves were showing the fade using up the nutrients. 11/21 is day Apollo's 71 day and 43 in flower. The harvest window per RQS is 70-75 days from seed. Apollo's buds are thick, dense, stinky citrus floral and sticky. As she hangs to dry, she is pungent and stinky. I am so proud of this grow. I didn't overfeed so I have experienced the color fade to yellow as foods are used up and the delicate colors emerge in the sugar leaves. I am very impressed with Royal Queen Seeds F1 genetics. So much so I bought Milky Way F1 and Medusa F1. I will definitely have another Apollo grow in January. Thank you @James at RQS. After hanging to dry 13 days and a little bit more trim, Smokable bud 128 g or 4,5 oz. Wow this is my best harvest and grow ever. I put her in the jars to cure. Apollo F1 had a huge base stem and was multi branching-even the side stems had side stems. The stems were sturdy. No support is needed for her branches She stayed short at 26 inches tall. I definitely pushed her on the watering. When I saw no runoff after 2.5 liters of water, I upped to 3 ltr. Then 3.5, then 1 gallon. I watered 2 liters, let the water absorb, then slowly add another 2 liters. There was a small amount of run off at the time of watering but was all gone by the next day. It could have been evaporation, but I really think it was consumption. Consumption is an indicator of yield. As densely bushy as she is, I'm estimating at least 90 grams. So for future grows, especially for very bushy plants, I will defoliate at least 2x during early and midflower to open up the canopy and let the plants bulk up more. She did show some nutrient (cal-mag) deficiency and for the next Apollo grow, I will push the feed a bit. I'm excited and a bit sad to see this grow come to an end at the same time. I really want to sample the smoke and feel the effect. Apollo is a balanced Hybrid. Thanks for the visit. Apollo and I appreciate the likes, views and comments. Be sure to check out my Recipe diary for some tasty edibles, basic infused sugar, butter, honey recipes to kickoff your edible making experience. Also some health and beauty recipes as well. Have wonderful week. Happy growing and have fun. Natrona ******************************** Apollo F1 is a vigorous auto flowering hybrid that boasts a strong structure and delicious aromas. Created from inbred lines descending from Lemon, Black Domina, and Sugar Magnolia, Apollo F1 inherited premium genetics from her predecessors. Like the ancient Greek deity she's named after, Apollo F1 produces balanced, creative effects that might inspire your perception of music, dance, poetry, and more! Mature and well-dried Apollo F1 flowers boast an upfront fresh aroma that combines crisp pine and herbal notes with the invigorating kick of ripe citrus peels. Accentuating these notes is a rich backdrop of dark vanilla and hints of lavender, reminiscent of modern cannabis varieties descending from Cookies and other US lineages. Apollo F1 produces a resin loaded with plenty of cannabinoids (predominantly THC) and a complex mix of terpenes including myrcene, terpinolene, farnesene, caryophyllene, ocimene, limonene, and linalool. As a result, Apollo F1 produces a balanced effect very typical of a well-bred hybrid—expect a powerfully relaxing physical sensation (characteristic of myrcene, farnesene, and linalool) mixed with a notable euphoria and motivating kick produced by terpinolene, ocimene, and limonene. Apollo F1 is a robust cultivar with the telltale compact structure of an indica-dominant hybrid. Plants reach a medium height with many tightly spaced branches that quickly become loaded with bud sites and thick, dark-green foliage. Apollo F1 flowers automatically, and her entire life cycle lasts roughly 80 days. Come harvest time, Apollo F1 will reward you with big, dense flowers bearing a thick layer of trichomes. July 6: looking good stating week 11. Nice response to the last round of topping to form a 16 cola manifold. After a couple more days of growth I’ll do another scrog layer to open it up further to the sun. So far so good. 👍 July 7: added scrog net. This is tied to half filled water bottles that can move if the plant catches some wind. Main reason at this growth stage is to help expose the growth tips and to hold down the fan leaves. Basically, I’m doing this instead of tomato cages because cannabis plants are tough and a net is better than a metal cage. July 8: hot 33 C today. Extra water, misting during peak sun, and some seaweed extract in the water. Continuing to mist regularly to make up for low humidity. Plant looks nice and green and vigorous. Growing at more than an inch per day now. July 9; hot again. Misting every few hours and foliar of seaweed extract and potassium silicate to help beat the heat. July 10: hot but this should be the peak day. Re-scrogged using a loose scrog layer. The overnight low here was almost 20 C which is super warm. Started another (third) lazy compost tea. Ingredients in a 5 gallon pail are 4 gallons (16 L) of water, compost, shredded coco coir fibre so bacteria have physical media to grow on, 1 tbsp of seaweed extract and humic acid blend, and 0.8 mL/L of Monster Maxx. About 1.5 tbsp of blackstrap molasses. No pH adjustment yet, and will let stand until end of day to allow some bacterial growth. July 12: made it through the heat wave and she looks great this morning.

Greetings to all who follow the development of my blueberry. I am very pleased to see you. Comment. Like. A week passed in the normal mode, the head swells in order to strengthen the flowering. I used pesticides of the gibberlinic acid group.

Hey folks, sorry for the late week update. Life happens haha. I finaly water the plants today with the usual 50mL of molassas to 5 gal of dechlorinated water. I topped the leading colas and defoliated the plant a little. Next update I will be top dressing with 2-3tbs of 70/30 4-4-4/2-8-4 gaia green mix. I will also be topping off of the soil levels. Plants are very bushy!

6/10 Everything looks great. We’re on autopilot now unless anything else pops up. 6/13 Last few days have seen heavy stretch. I suppose I vegged a week too long by looking at how it is now. I’ll gain a few more inches of light height tomorrow when my new exhaust system arrives (I accidentally broke the screen on the current one, thankfully it’s still functional for now). I ended up doing more general defoliation over the past 3 days due to the stretch but will hopefully be done shortly. 6/14 I installed the new 6 inch exhaust setup from AC Infinity to replace the 4 inch Spider farmer exhaust. Absolutely massive upgrade, and by installing the fan outside of the tent I was able to raise the light an additional 4 inches or so. This may end up being important as she’s still stretching and I’m almost out of usable height. New light reading is 590 PAR / 25.5 DLI

shortest plant is 50cm tallest being 95cm. They are all doing wonderfully, most of autos are budding nicely and all of the photoperiods are ready to flower. looking very promising. i am changing my light schedule to 14-10 to kick these girls into flower.. this will give the plants an extra 17% (or so) a day under the lights.rather than 12-12. i cant be fussy as i only have one grow space but if my research is correct these should grow beautifully! the autos are well ahead so shouldnt affect my harvest weight too much. like i say i cant be fussy! thanks for looking

I think I'm off to a good start. This is the roughest part of a grow for me so far. One thing that I learned from my past killings was to not get obsessive and that's the approach. I've got a way better understanding of feeding now. I was confused about feeding charts, thinking that it was mix and feed. Even though I checked the PH and PPM (incorrectly a few times) I'd consistently fry my plants to near death, bring them back with plain, proper ph'd water and then re-fry the next feeding. It hadn't dawned on me that the nutrient mix while being in the optimal PH range, mixed in right order and correct measurements, my PPM/EC was way too high for the stage of the plant. Yikes, I was feeding a toddler 3 double Whoppers with extra everything. And XL fries. You burn and learn I guess. The little girl was starting to look hungry so I took a shot and fed light nutrients with some hydrogen peroxide (will update the chart soon getting sleepy). I also punched a lot more holes in the bottom of the solo cup. Few hours later her leaves perked up like she was giving me a high five. Leaves are looking good too with a PPM of about 211. It's going to be a warmer weekend so I figure I'll crack another seed and put my 5 gallon pot to use. Possibly a photoperiod?
