Week 4: Growth Spurts and New Challenges Continued Growth and Health As we move into the fourth week, the plants are showing impressive growth. Their leaves are a lush, vibrant green, and the stems are becoming stronger. The transition to the larger 11-liter fabric pots has clearly paid off, providing the roots with ample space and better aeration. Adjusting Nutrient Levels Given their positive response to the nutrients, I decided to continue with 2/3 of Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding schedule, adjusting slightly to meet their increasing demands. Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training. This is my first grow indoor, 2 plants in a tend 80 x 80 x 160 cm. Using a mix substract, in a 7 liters vase. Germination was done with the paper towel method. At the first week one of them was stagnated, so I forced up the seed and probably hurt a cotyledone.

DRIED UP AN ORANGE PEEL IN THE OVEN. THEN GOUND IT UP IN A COFFEE GRINDER AND TOP DRESSED ON DAY 8. MIXED UP A VERY VERY GOOD CUSTOM BLEND OF MEDIUM ON DAY 13 AND TRANSPLANTED. MISTED THE MEDIUM AND THE SEEDLING AFTER THE TRANSPLANT. WEATHER HAS BEEN COOL AND WINDY WITH NO ISSUES SO FAR. PLEASE COME AGAIN!😎

Monday 8th March - DAY 17 Leaves are curling slightly and I still have some yellow tips please can someone advise if this plant is healthy? Or what I can do better? Tuesday 9th March - DAY 18 She’s looking more healthy today which I’m pleased about I’m just letting her soil dry a little before I up the nutrients. Happy Tuesday! 🍁 Wed 10th March - DAY 19 Soil was looking a little dry this morning so gave her some more water and nutrients (lowered the dose from last time as advised by a few people.) Thur 11th March - DAY 20 She’s looking ok I think maybe a little on the short side but hopefully she’ll catch up over the next few weeks!! Fri 12th March - DAY 21 She’s rather small I think for day 21 I’m putting it down to trauma from the light drop? I’m not too sure but i could just be impatient!!

Everything is going smoothly, the buds are getting bigger day by day All the girls are bug free, they are still looking green The G13 has the strongest smell followed by the Runtz and the GDP doesn’t smell like anything for now

Penso proprio che questa volta non si riprenderà ma riuscirà ad arrivare alla fine ugualmente! Evidentemente ci sono danni a livello radicale che non sono reversibili e le foglie giovani piegate in quel modo così ad artiglio, sono un segno di una precedente sovra irrigazione che ha causato tutto ciò, mi sembra strano che oltre ad essere così accartocciate siano rimaste comunque scure, senza segni di carenza di azoto o qualsiasi nutriente, ma guardando nelle due settimane indietro, il vaso ci metteva troppo tempo per asciugarsi e questo già faceva presagire un problema di assorbimento per troppa acqua, per fortuna è stata recuperata in tempo ma questo genere di problemi sarebbe sempre meglio evitarlo…mai lasciare in mano le piante alla mamma insomma 😵

So WeedSeedsExpress was kind enough to supply me with there Auto-NL. A strain that always lands in the tent every few cycles as its one of my favourite classics. I have grown out a few breeders strains of NL but never ran an Auto version of it so something new in it for myself. a little video of the packing which i thought was quite cool in an old school style cut out booklet. We are a week in, Sorry for lack of photos i ended up having a bit of a rush at time. I germinated 5 and all 5 germed and sprouted but lost one due to an accident in the tent. Just running on some plain water and superthrive for now. These have grown perfectly fine.

The end of what I considered week 2 of veg. These babies REALLY took off, one of the little autos have a little light burn but I adjusted the light to plant distance, nothing else has been affected. I upped the dosage of "Grow" to a little under normal for the autos and full blast for the photos. Up until this point I've only had one harvest from RQS, I should've let her grow more as she was early just due to the inexperienced part of me. None the less, I got about 1.5 ounces, all information is accepted to help up. I believe cheese might have a nitrogen efficiency due to the bright green leaves, will back her off a bit
