5 week vegetating. The nutrient overdose is still there. I was outside the weekend and the plant growed too quick (doubled in size in 5 days) so it got burnt with the lamp as yo can see in the pictures. I think it will act likea a topping but i don't know the real impact yet. I have set up an scrog to try to contain the height (1 week later due to logistic problems). The root system is insane and healthy. I think she is near to start flowering maybe this week or the next week. Day 36 update- as you can see the plant is preflowering. I won't change the nutrient solution yet to avoid another fertilization excess. when the plant recover from scrog and prunning i will change to flowering nutrient dose at 80%.

It has gotten a bit close to the light. I think she has gotten some wind damage to the upper leaves from being hit by the fan. I rather that then she get too warm. Everything is doing its thing. 91Grapes day 72. Should have been harvested by now, she was a 65 day +/- from sprout and has two more weeks left, fuc . I think something is wrong with a nutrient imbalance as her leaves continue to lose their vibrant green color. Indications of a mag. Deficiency was evident so added epsom salts 1 tsp per gallon. Problem persisted so went with some bloom nutrients with a little nitrogen if that doesn’t help it might have to just except it and drive on. Flowers are fatter so if that continues then all is well, after all isn’t it the flowers we are growing anyway.

So all in all the strain took 98 from seed. It was easy to grow and forgiving aswell. The buds smells super sweet and are quite fluffy like a true sativa!

Plants are healthy and growing well. 0.5L of water each plant every 2/3 days

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.
