They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Lights: I don't change Bloom light, I still use Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light to use both in vegetation and flowering 💡💡 Training: LST: third attachment of all twigs where flowers are formed 🌸🌸 Defoliation: the first big defoliation took place in the middle of the week, I removed the large leaves at the bottom of the plants and those that shaded the flowers 🍃🌞 The little girl has only grown by 5 cm since last week, she is already putting all her strength into flowering. Last bit of supercropping, keep the canopy low as possible 08/22/2018 #5 is the only 9 fingered leaves plant, all other GTH plants have 5 & 7 finger leaves, #5 took 3 clones she's my keeper of this batch. She is very diesely citrus,musky smell.can smell her at 90". #4 similar smell not as much stink. #3 minty chlorophyll smell. #2 orange,citrusy,mint. Ps. Gonna hit a selected branch or 2 of GTH #5 with mystery cookie males pollen I saved from earlier pollen harves. Week 8 Day 5 Hello GD Fam 🖐️🏻 Plants are looking SWELL They have packed on a lot of weight and some pistils are turning but there is still a lot of new white pistils. Trichs are still pretty clear too. Was going to use Dragon Force in week 9 and flush with plain water for week 10 but now I'm wondering whether to push an extra week through them, what do you think GD community? How do you all predict when to prepare for flush? I find it difficult, it's easy enough to spot a plant that's ready based on trichs and pistils etc but how do you predict it 2 weeks early to know when to start using your final additives followed by just water in the final week? I know dragon force and similar products push the plant to do so but if I can get more weeks out of a plant then I shouldn't I do so for a benefit to yield? Especially interested in @SHOGUN opinion if they have a little time spare 😁 As you can see in the pics peeps I've caught the spirit of Christmas and decorated my grow space for the competition Xmas Grow:showman:️ Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas 🎅 Hope you like the video I made I'm pretty happy with the results considering I've got zero experience of decorating and video photography/direction or any photography for that matter 😂

Everything went good. Had some issues with build up but first time in coco and autopots so was bound to be something! Haha but over all was easy !

Day 70: Want to know how the trichomes are looking on my OG Kush, they look pretty clear to me but not 100%🤷‍♂️🏼 any feedback would be great, this OG is about 10 weeks old from seed, there was some temp issues, and nutrients locks but still going strong I believe.
