2025-10-15 2025-10-15 The Shaman was cut today. It's always bittersweet for me when it's time for harvest. Like every time I've grown her, I had so much fun and joy—just looking at her brought me happiness. SHAMAN is a keeper in my outdoor genetics. She is easy to grow from start to harvest, always a pleasure. Despite the fact that this year she took longer to mature, I can't blame the genetics—all my outdoor plants were 3-4 weeks later this year. It was simply the conditions. Let's talk about conditions: The soil bed is prepared in autumn the year before and refreshed in springtime, so the plant always has at least 60 cm of deep, nice, and fluffy enriched soil base filled with microorganisms, microbacteria, and mycorrhizae. The roof is the most important part. This year I added 2 SCROGS—that was great! She stayed stable during heavy wind and rain and kept on shining after the storms. I'm very pleased with the outdoor season overall, despite a very cold and wet spring and summer with only short periods of hot and sunny weather. welcome to one of the last episodes of the BIG Cheese twins chronicles! ...I cannot believe it either, but when i checked her trichomes this morning, with my microscope.. she is as good as done!!(the FAT, smaller one at least) So beautiful trichomes she has too.. a lot of them looked like lil' chuncks of cheese! (deep yellow, with spots on them 😁) But a lot of old cheese too (orange, brown) so think gonna chop her end of this week!(be4 it starts raining again..😎) Its finally sunny weather so gonna let her enjoy the sunshine some more 😎 dont think her sister is ready yet (the tall skinny one) but she will get there soon enough! She is covered with trichomes.. my camera had a hard time focussing in the buds so sprakly!!😻 So the next episode of the cheese twins chronicles will be a harvest!! 07-AUG-18 - Started this Week off by topping the three main branches and doing a minor defoliation removing the leaves on the first node of each branch. As well as mixing up a fresh batch of nutrients and feeding her 1liter of solution.

Harvested and smoked... runtz was the favorite of all but this one i the top 1 for insomnia people who deal with it should give this strain a try it's great late evening smoke.. you feel like you're on a cloud.... I got a more of a musky earthy og with very little lemon kick to it but I don't mind. 162 left in the bag to cure rest in the jar for myself to enjoy for now. The redness in the stems went away with the cure I belive... some still have it tho lightly.

Day 107 - Day late and a dollar short on my Update! :P Haven't added any new nutes...just topping up with water on the current base and then will flush around Thursday. The Cookies Kush all look done...pistils been brown and shrunk for days now. The Purple punch still showing a lot of white pistils though and its the oldest of the 4 plants and should be done the quickest (Per Barneys Flower Time Expectations). Am well over the 8 weeks now and will play the flush by ear, like I say, expecting Thursday for a 4 day flush in Hydro but may stretch the current nutes out the end week to see if the Punch Browns (It is fox-tailing slightly...but this can be expected with Purple strains). Apart from that, nothing else to do but wait til harvest! :) Also, have to note...can't say I have sen an increase in frosting using the 10K bulb from where they were before I introduced it a week ago but could be something that's been that gradual, its really been unnoticeable! What I have noticed with it is Cola Leaves starting to Pray, so they're getting some light intensity without bleaching or burning so it has done something...if its beneficial, I can't really say!

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

This is my second time growing this strain and i am much more please this time around. Came out with almost 3 times more than last time and the buds are a lot bigger. Have already ordered another seed because i think this may be my favorite strain!

This week we will see the colas and buds really dense up. We are about 2 weeks away from harvest now. Next week I will start my flush.

Day 39 - Did a little defoliating today, I’m hoping it won’t stunt too much. Last two grows, I just let it go but seemed pretty crowded so want more light deeper. Day 40 - It appears the defoliation has really stunted her so will keep an eye on her. She’s starting to smell a bit fruity and I’m loving it. Day 41 - No major changes today, still looks and smells amazing. Day 42 - Looks and smells good still!

Flowering is going amazing, this candy cane is growing some very fast weight and caking up with Trichome’s. The sweet and slightly minty berry smell is growing in power day by day, and I’m very happy with how the size of the buds are developing since adding the increase of 2-8-4 and fish bone meal, just a little bit, not too much at all and she’s reacting great, knowing that the candy cane is a larger auto in size makes me a bit sad with the total size of this plant, but in its young age as my very first auto I believe I probably stunted it, but after all this and how she looks now Im more than happy with the growth, yield and quality of it, just speaking now as I do not obviously know how much I Will revive from it, I’m guessing about a ounce. No small bud sites other than maybe one on a lower branch that already has a main top cola on it. The main cola is massive and packing on a lot of size. I’ve switched the light to a hour less now as I am growing 2 photo indica L.A grape and with the season change I am having to fix my temp and humidity more for the photos, so changing to a 17-7 schedule has actually helped quite a lot and also has helped my other autos veg slightly better. But all in all I’m very exited!

I've cut down on grow at this point as the soil seems to have a lot. I'll feed for another week then think about Flushing. The kalimist will keep getting fed bloom and grow as its only been flowering for about 3 weeks due to taking longer to force flower.

I am dropping a fast buds tester FBT2308. The seed was scuffed, and placed in water in dark. In 24 to 48 hours I will plant in Rockwool, and dome. I will be growing her under a Medic Grow Mini Sun-2 in Agrogardens nutrition. Everything is ready to go. 🤞🏻 for a great grow. My biggest harvest yet, 385g dry oh my god. Never thought hydro could yield sp much so fast. And fastbuds genetics helping me achieve that. The strain is so potent we smoked a joint 4 people and had to put it out bwcause everyone got so stoned. Wonderful. But curing now so im looking forward to those terpz and maybe a little else you never know what surprises beholds. Hsy out!
