Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Well, that day has come, the girl would have been really different if not for the high temperature, strong light, and a huge lack of potassium :( well, everything will be fine next time :) live and learn :) I am satisfied with the result, which is what I need :) got 200 gr of liquid :) gathered a lot of sugar leaf :) they are already in the sweet shop :D I will make an addition!! good growth and success :)

Nuevo cultivo, volví a plantar Jamaican Dream, está vez solo se hará LST y defoliación, nada de apical(Main Lining). Se ha aprendido de errores y atrasos del cultivo anterior, esperando no cometerlos en este cultivo. Para este cultivo de usarán los nutrientes de la línea Grotek(mega pack), además de micorrizas great white. Las semillas germinaron al tercer día de plantadas en el sustrato, al igual que el cultivo anterior. Esperaré a que crezcan hasta unos 3 nodos para hacer transplante a maceteros definitivos de 18 litros. Germ2, han estirado suficiente para remover el plástico, se regaron con agua de osmosis con CalMag a 0.6 EC y pH 6.5, se espolvoreó great white en el sustrato. Se instalo un humidificador en el indoor y se bajó a un 70-80% la potencia del LED. Germ3, se mantienen en 80% de humedad a 23 grados, se humedece el sustrato. Germ6, están creciendo al ritmo esperado, se humedeció el sustrato, los parámetros están correctos. Germ8, primer riego con Vitamax Pro y SoloTek Grow de Grotek, 0.8 EC, y un poco de great white en polvo al sustrato. Creciendo bien.

En esta primera semana mantuve las luces muy alejadas lo que provocó un estiramiento prematuro lo que a mi gusto no me gusta mucho a sí que para la siguiente prepararé un transplante. DÍA 1 - CUARTA SEMANA DE VEGETA (26-05-2022) *Se sigue con el LST (28-05-2022) * Se le aplica una poda selectiva a todas * Tuve un problema de riego con varias * En su día 31 desde q salió del sustrato, de las 6, hay 3 ya que van bien y han sufrido soportaron mejor el estrés, de las otras 3; hay una Banana y una AK que vienen más bajas que todas, de ramas más cortas y distancia internodal corta a comparación de las otras. Después esta la lemon que se viene recuperando muy bien de estrés y fue la que siempre vino más grande y ramificada :) DÍA 7 ÚLTIMA SEMANA VEGETA (01-06-2022) * Último día de la semana de vegetación, ya mañana es su día 1 de flora. * El día de ayer se le regó lo último con Vegalquimia, y se le añadió 1ml de Alquisweet de LAAOS. * Estos últimos 2 días he tenido problema de temperaturas muuuy bajas donde vivo, con luz encendida llegan 20 grados con suerte y luz apagada a 12-13 grados. Estoy tratando de jugar con bajar la humedad pero no la puedo bajar a menos de 55% aprox. Espero ya mañana arreglar ese problema de bajas temperaturas. * Lo que es el cultivo se ve bien dentro de todo. Hay dos enanas que se estresaron en la semana 2 y quedaron pequeñas. A todas se le aplicaron LST, unas resistieron mejor los distintos estrés ya mencionados en semanas anteriores. Pero va bien. * Hay 3 en pre flora, una de ellas en pre flora avanzada y es una de las más enanas.

Welcome to my Seedsmam Tiny/rare contest Diary. VD9-12 Again with this strain. Picked up something in her infancy. She either got a disease. That I can't put my finger on. But, defo too early to be anything other than what it is. A disease.. I used 6% H202 last week when this started to show.. seems to have helped. Decent growth this week. (Made up a 50ml solution..1/5 ratios h202/water) Will be keeping a close eye on this one. Hoping she'll pull through. Not giving up on her as of yet. Her growth is ok. And there is enough to push her through to get some decent growth to push her into full veg. Stem is still very thin.. and a lot longer than I'd like at this stage of growth. Thanks for dropping by. La altura varia entre 25 y 40cm. 2 dias de oscuridad y pasamos a 12 horas de luz para floracion. En una semana realizaremos poda de bajos. 2 esquejes se llevaron a otro indoor que sigue en etapa vegetativa para mas desarrollo.

Looks promising…she got high levels of moisture from the past days rain…no watering for her this week…her leaves started to curl so I have to get her dry off hopefully no humidity spike.

Day 1 Kinda fattening up now. I guess I'm getting close to the end now. No feeding so far. Trichs are still mostly clear on the buds (with some amber and cloudy in between) so I'll need to wait some more for the flush but it won't be long... let's see... Nutrient values above are still at 100% from the last feed but next feed I'll back down for sure. I'll go 75% next time, maybe 50%, maybe 0% and I'll flush depending on how she gets along...

I have also lowered the light a bit, increased the nutrients to 2ml per 1000ml and watered about 4/500ml. I have also changed the light schedule to 20 hours again. Also I don't know why I have done the LST the way I have, i saw something similar on YouTube and the stem was bending in that direction one day so I thought I would give it a go. It might not have been the smartest move on my first grow but who knows, we will see. I am thinking about getting Advanced Nutrients BigBud and was wondering if anyone thinks it is worth it or to stick with what I am using the whole way through before flush?
