Day 77 (f15):
The Runtz is stretching considerably more than the Kosher Dawg (which will need to be elevated - probably by putting planks under the dwc reservoir).
Ran out of Plagron nutrients and couldn't find anymore! So I bought the only ones available at the hydro store 'hy-pro hydro A & B), these nutrients are much less concentrated and I already used up near to half a litre of nutrients on my reservoir change day (yesterday)!
The yellow tips on the Runtz seem to be light stress, as during the res change the nutrient dosage was lowered and ph maintained between 5.7-6.1 and she shows she is hungry but the yellow tips got slightly worse to the light is 15cm higher now.
Nice strong vegetative smell releases when I rub any part of the plants :D
It is getting difficult to take pictures where you can actually see the size of the plants because the space is so packed! Can't wait to do the heavy defoliation after the stretch (in like 5-7 days from now)!
Day 80 (f18) update: 😀
The Kosher Dawg stretched 8-10cm since day f15. EC and PH very stable at 1.5 and 5.9.
During the next water res change, when all the water is out of the res (so it weighs less) I will try add planks under the reservoir to elevate the Kosher Dawg to a height similar to that of the Runtz (currently approx 15 cm difference in height). The Kosher Dawg took longer to start stretching than the Runtz and the bud development started later. Does this mean I should also do the 'day 21 defoliation' - which should be between the stretch and the focus on bud height development - a few days later for this Kosher Dawg than for the Runtz?
Looking forward to defoliating and finding out what she is truly packing under all those fan leaves!

All good in the hood ! they look good to me and growing nicely. Much bushier than the El chapos but buds are forming nicely. They look one week behind El chapos ones but lets see. Im planning on giving them another 4 weeks of nutes + 1 week of flush.

These girls have definitely rooted and started upward. They're about 3in tall and showing daily growth. I stopped watering by spraying the soil and started hand watering 250-500ml daily. I use calmag 5ml/gal every feeding. So far they've responded well and I look forward to the weeks to come.

Esta es la última semana de crecimiento. Espero llegar a unos 30cm de altura para esta semana. He hecho varios cortes de bajos, defoliacion y super cropping. Se ven saludables y sigo esperando el estiramiento de la pequeña que quedó atrás. Iré actualizando.
Día 25. Hoy hice una corte de hojas grande. Esta noche voy a aplicar EMRO foliar. Algunas plantas se van muy arriba. Pero dentro de todo vienen parejas. En unos días paso a floración. Probablemente ya la próxima semana sea naranja.
Día 28. Último día de crecimiento. Esta noche cambio el depósito. Voy a tener que comprar otro, o ir rellenando a los 3 días del cambio, dado que estan tomando mucha solución. Algunas se estiraron más de lo esperado y la pequeña no alcanzó el tamaño deseado, pero no importa. Voy a ir aplicando LST para mantener una altura pareja. Las raíces crecieron muchísimo, pero por ahora es manejable el tema. Ahora llega la hora de la verdad.

my experience with these strains has not been one of the best .... in the last few weeks there has been a sharp increase in temperatures making things very difficult ...
very slow growth for coockies considering that in the same tent I had 3 other autoflows that had been ready for a few weeks.
discrete power .... almost light ... lighter flowers inside the buds ...

Hi gromie's welcome to week 8.
These girls are going great, started flushing on Monday 11/11/24 with plain ph'd water and Resin from Green Planet Nutrients at 2ml/ltr.
I also reduced watering to just 2 times a day for 15 minutes on each time.
Just trying something different as I usually do high fertigation . 15 minutes on watering cycle every 2 hours.
From what I've read, I was hoping they would draw moisture from within themselves to help with drying but also some people believe it can increase THC??
It has worked at bringing out some more of that beautiful colour with in the buds but you can really notice the back plant has started canabilising itself!
Starting to see some really nice fading of colours on the vegetation of the plant at the back, which is something I don't usually get with hydro because you usually feed them right to the end & Only need to flush for 2 to 3 days. Gave them a long flush this time.
I've been waiting on a new microscope to arrive to check trichomes, but these girls are looking about done going off pistills turned orange/brown & curling in , Calyx closed & swelling up, looking really frosty!!! Will harvest this week! As I need to get veging plants into Flower

😻 We're close.. trichs are roughly 60% cloudy, the intense light really seems to be bringing them out!..We're starting our preharvest flush this week and are looking at pulling them down in another 1.5-2 weeks, not the prettiest run on record but i learned a few things and the bud does look and smell fabulous!! ...Thanks for dropping by growmies! we'll update again midweek! ❤️💡🌱😽💨

Some great weather the past week.
I am surprised by how the training worked out I should do more but I’m not too confident tbh.
This girl seems to amaze me by her beauty/health.
Because 1 leaf showed a bit of a brown tip after 1 heavier feeding I might just feed water for the coming week.
I’m not sure if I’m everything correctly but really so far so good, a great experience from a tiny seedling up in till this point .

I have been worried for a while about how close the plant grew to my led lights. The usual recommendation is like 16-20" above , but I can't raise my lights and this plant stretched so fast a couple colas got away from me. As you can see in the photos and video, some are as close as 6-12 inches and because this plant is a slow developer, I think it's starting to Foxtail. In response to this and preparation for upcoming harvest, I lowered the intensity of my light and changed the light schedule from 19/5 to 16/8. I've been lowering the nutrients all week and will be flushing all next week. I've been preparing for trimming and drying, only worry is keeping the correct humidity, but we'll see.
