Week 8 Looking absolutely huge😂 They’re so tall and wide . Lots of healthy green leaves and strong roots. I was worrying a lot about sex issues as when I did my research I found out they’re quite common to hermaphrodite. Was really worrying but all calyx’s have female signs (so far🙏🏻) so pray for me brothers&sisters.

This week was terrible for her just as she was ripening the humidity increased…prompting an early harvest.

This week the plant grew a lot even when I did her another defoliation (I’m really crazy I know) she’s auto but she didn’t show any stress with that. Is just 4 weeks left to harvest. I broke the air stone when I was doing the solution change, so I have to buy a new one, the good thing is that the new one works much better. Let’s see how it goes this week, I did another and hopefully the last defo today (last pic) and we’ll se e the next one how she responded.

On day 1 the girls are doing well. Many preflowers showing and the plants are stretching a little every day. On day 2 the reservoir is almost empty. The plants are praying and growing well. On day 3 I changed out the reservoir. I also lolli popped and defoliated the plants to focus energy on productive bud sites. I set up my carbon filter mixing chamber, which is a box where I feed my exhaust ducting from my grow box and have it meet up with my carbon filter in the mixing chamber, then is scrubbed and sent out the chamber. I have to do it this way because I don't have space in the grow box for the carbon filter to be hung. I'm excited to see these two different phenos, I know which one I'm leaning towards so far ;) On day 4 I defoliated once again. I also applied BTI as a fungus gnat larva preventative. on day 5 adjusted ph in reservoir to 6.1. On day 6 flower clusters are forming on tops of plants. stretch seems to be slowing down which seems soon but we will see ;). On day 7 the girls are doing well.

What a week. First off these girls are way to damn small to be 8 f'n weeks in. But I've delt with about 2 weeks of very hot weather eary on. The water temp got up to 85 that I know of. So it fried the roots. I discovered hydrogen peroxide little to late but it has helped. I really thought I was gonna lose a couple this week but they are doing much better. I got my new grow tent lights in. Using them on the main grow room until I get the other new light built but thatbwont be for some time. The other light is almost done. I've got the new pvc pipe frame made. Yaya I know cheap. But hey that's why I did it. I just ordered to more light setups. That puts me at $300 for this light alone. But damn it is so Brite. Right now with just 6 lights on high its at 283watts. I'm adding 2 more that should put me around 376 Watts for a 5x5. These are the large cog legs. I have 3500 wave length ones. I also built a cloner. Shout out to @icanthc for one of his videos that gave me the inspiration to build my own with improvements. I've had bad luck with clones so far so I hope this will help. I'm going to cut down CDG#2. She so damn far behind. I will get 3 cloned out of her. Fingers crossed.

10/27 Week 5 PURPLE BUDS! This was unexpected even as a mystery strain Saw some unwanted bronzing on leaves, like its ever wanted, lets just say also unexpected. Best we can see is PH variances as possible issue, so there is that again. Just began on the middle leaves not top or bottom. So looking forward to the coco he is preparing, nice to know where you stand. Will watch and wait as the foliar spray did not help for certain. 10/29 Problem does not seem to be advancing - Soil PH confirmed at 6.7 so no problem there. 10/30 Feeding time Recharge 0.5 tsp - Kangaroots 5ml - CalMag 5ml - PH 6.5 for one gallon over 3 tbs top dressing Dr. Earth Flower Girl and one inch of mulch (50% coco/perlite) Trimmed off the damaged leaves where I could so if anything new arises it will be plain. See where it goes with the Flower Girl New Pics! My baby Krisabel is back! Her color her bearing her presence is restored! The change worked removed all dead zones since it stopped advancing, noticeable growth in just a couple of hours. Happy day 😁

Nov 19: The one is growing crazy fast everyday noticeable changes, but the other one is growing a bit slower and looks a bit funky. Both have the same environment as the grow box is only 4x2.5ft, and get the same amount of nutes and water (give or take 50ml). Nov 23: All looking good still, gonna start feeding higher volumes and extending the length between feeds. Any suggestions regarding the amount of turbulence these girls are getting at this stage of life? I think it’s just the right amount!

Loved this plant will have a smoke report soon. It really responded well to feedings and heavy feedings at that. The buds packed on weight and frost. This was by far my favorite of this run!

Our Zamnesia autoflowers have been on their journey through the magical flowering period for a while now, this is the second week of flowering considering that autoflowers still flower spontaneously some sooner than others but all around the 3rd-4th week. . ---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a bit more but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid compromising the quality of the flowers. If necessary open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees where 30 is already a lot. The positive thing is that as soon as the lights go out the change is already somewhat visible and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both of them possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should also be dehumidified) --- Here we are at very high levels. I have two Blue Cheese one a little taller and one a little smaller and super resinous already now - The autoflowering ones are good but please, try the latest generation F1 Hybrids. Plant, tall, vigorous, healthy really compliments for this strain. It is forming buds super fast only the Sticky Beast is behind it incredible the photos are only at the 5th week and look a bit ... --- Fertilization program - The fertilizers are always Plagron and I'm following the table that I generated on the site depending on the chosen substrate. Create your own card and follow it, never be presumptuous my friend as I have been in the past, follow the card and look at the plants, not all need the same amount of fertilizer. We have come to the time to give a good dose of iron in the first weeks of flowering, already of race life not sprayed but mixed with fertilizers. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. The flush is almost over and these are almost done. Few more days and they’ll be gettin chopped. Paying close attention the trichome head colors and ratios. Everything looks and smells fantastic. Fastbuds most definitely is a leader in the auto genetic world. More than pleased every time.
