Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. I'm a bit bummed about this grow. I've read that you just need to force a plant to flower, that's 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark for the first 3 weeks (I had a tent inside the greenhouse) and then put it outside and it will continue to flower. I thought that was amazing, so I wanted to give it a try. Well, here we are at the end of the 7th week and it looks like the plants are going back into veg. Last year I didn't do up the tent for the last 2 weeks and everything was fine so I thought I would give this keeping it open after the 3rd week a try. Now I know. I can always turn it into hash, maybe dry ice hash. Here's another reason I'm bummed about this grow. I've got spider mites. I'm doing my best to knock them down with my hypochlorous acid. I'm spraying twice a week, but had some yellowish looking leaves, I reread the article (I put up a pic of it a few of weeks ago) and found I had to rinse the indoor plants. So after I sprayed the 1/2 strength acid I waited 10 minutes and rinsed with water. Today I can see more mites than when I sprayed before. So next time I'll wait till the 1/2 acid mix is dry before I rinse the leaves and see if that knocks them down more. If you don't try new things you don't learn. That's what this grow is about, to see if the plants can still keep flowering at my latitude and now that I have mites, to see if the hypochlorous acid will work without killing the plants. Yes, I'm 60 something and still learning. 😃 Be Great. Chuck.

I turned her pot and plucked a couple of yellow shade leaves...the basic daily maintenance. 9/22- I didn't water her yesterday as she looked great and was 'praying' hard. Today she was given 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ which I gave her through her drip pan (bottom chuggin) and I also gave her pot a turn. I'm keeping an eye on what appears to be a few seeds developing. I'm hoping they're just fat calyx's that haven't matured yet however there's a strong possibility that, due to a temperature fluctuation that was excessive (20℉) may have caused her to stress and turn hermaphroditic... Fingers crossed! 🤔🤞 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days and she is right on track to be finishing up in the next 2-3 weeks. I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and gave the last Top Dress of Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, Down To Earth Bio-Fish, Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and Worm Castings. I watered in the Top Dress with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ and let her enjoy her meal! 😜 9/26- After her heavy watering on the 24th I didn't water yesterday and when I checked her today at 'lights on' and she still had some weight to her pot and her leaves were praying hard so I held off on watering today and will hit her tomorrow with her usual 1.5g watering. ~Thanks for stopping in! In Conclusion guys I just wished 2 out of the 3 ladies didn't stunt on me so I could have had more to harvest. But I am definitely getting alot better with my grows a definitely feel more confident in giving you guys reviews on my next strains that I have coming. Today is day 74 since the plants sprouted, and day 35 of the 12/12 light schedule. I got lazy with the diary after I switched to flower, but I switched to the flower schedule the day of the my last veg update. Everything has been very hands off since flower, to be honest. I've still been following the General Hydroponics nutrient schedule for my dosing, and the plants have seemed happy with that. Both plants look great in there, especially plant #2, which has tons of roots reaching out of the pot and onto the grow tray. From what I had read online, triploid plants are supposed to be seedless, at least when it comes to fruit. I was hoping that would mean the plants would be incapable of producing pollen sacks/seeds. As usual for my grows, I found pollen sacks at about 5 weeks of flower on plant #2, and promptly picked it off. That's the only one I've found so far, but I'll have to keep a sharp eye out for the next few weeks. From experience, these bastards pop up on the lower nodes from weeks 5-8 of flower. If any of them open during weeks 5-7, the whole crop gets tons of seeds.

FBT-29 and FBT-31 - Strawberry Pie will.be harvested next week. In the tent temperature is so.high because of summer poor plants are suffering. I keep removing leaves.

Tons of fresh small growth is sprouting on the top canopy. Like a whole bush worth is starting fresh! It's going to be big by 10 weeks.

Ok this was my first grow and I made mistakes. -forgot to buffer coco - nutrient burn -started the manlining to early - probably worried to much about every stage these plants. -ended up with fungus gnats And probably appt more I can’t rmeber in the moment. But i learned so much from all of my mistakes and spent so much time researching and seeing in real time how these plants react and grow. I did do some experimentation just a normal top with one blue dream. I topped twice one another blue dream and did a 3 times topped on all the blue dreams and I see why you should at least top three times the eight main colas and spread out the plant I see some of the buds on the one I only topped once not matured at all because there was minimal light other buds were growing so fat it suffocated it basically. I could have probably defoliated and manliness better but ayy. Beginners wil make Mistakes and I’m happy with what came out of these girls. Not excited for trim hail but I am at the same time 😅😅

The plants really took off this last week, but we started to notice some other issues. The plants looked a little dark in color after the watering/CalMag, and some of the new growth looks a little droopy. Hoping they bounce back in the next couple days and the CalMag fixes any issues.

No problems to report this week. Gelato smelling amazing. Strong frosty bud growth in all strains. Looking forward to the next couple of weeks of development.
